Chapter 101 - Chapter 102 The Final Severance

Johnson Joffrey put down the phone and let out a long breath.

That scared me to death.

Perhaps this fear stemmed from his impression of Kujo Jotaro in his previous life; in the eyes of an average JO fan, Kujo Jotaro was an invincible existence. Trying these little tricks in front of him always felt like he would see right through them.

His hand still on the phone, he pushed open the door to the driver's compartment.

"Sir, how much longer until Cagliari?"

"About 20 minutes."

The driver replied.

Johnson Joffrey took a deep breath. It was almost time to get off. If he were to hijack the driver, cause a carriage explosion, and then abandon dozens of passengers in the wilderness of Cagliari, he would definitely go to Prison.

So, he should get off now.

Johnson Joffrey pulled open the sliding door of the compartment, seeing everyone looking at him with various expressions. Before he could speak, Mista immediately asked, "What did the Godslayer say?"

Godslayer? What the heck? Is that Kujo Jotaro's new nickname? Don't just start a cult of personality.

"He didn't say anything, just asked what I've been up to recently."

"Why does he feel more like a father than your actual dad?" Ghiaccio said.

"It's clearly surveillance, alright?" Formaggio said. "Don't you understand this situation? Johnson has always been under his surveillance, but he still made a fake call just to confirm whether Johnson would lie."

"Eh?! Is that so?"

Johnson Joffrey sighed. He was right; for an ordinary person, it would indeed be like that. But Kujo Jotaro wasn't like that. Even with a villain system, which supposedly comes with villainous charm, did Kujo Jotaro really not feel anything at all?

He certainly did, but he didn't constantly track Johnson, because he was a man of principle. He only believed in facts. If Johnson hadn't done anything bad, he would never target him at every turn.

He was truly a terrifying man; both his strength and his magnanimity commanded genuine respect.

That's why Johnson Joffrey didn't dare to confront him. If they accidentally started fighting, and he suddenly said, 'It seems your Reversed Hierophant and my Star Platinum are the same type of Stand,'

Then what the hell would I fight for?

My villain system definitely requires me to do something, for example, the achievement [Best Villain, Slaughterer] even has 'Novice Achievement' marked in front of it.

I... while not a saint, killing people is always bad.

I want to be a villain with principles; I don't need to kill to show any resolve.

As Johnson Joffrey and the Assassination Team got off the train, stole a car, and drove to the address Melone had collected for the girl—

"No one," Melone said, annoyed. "Someone got here before us."

"They've already moved the girls. It looks like Bucciarati's doing. They must have flown to Cagliari before me," Mista said.

Risotto looked at the empty house, which belonged to a family of three, with uncooled breakfast still on the table. After observing carefully, Risotto said, "In this home, the mother works at a convenience store, probably the night shift. She had just returned home when Bucciarati took her away."

"How many other girls are there?" he asked.

"Four," Melone replied.

Risotto pondered for a moment, then, after careful consideration, said, "It's time to settle things with Bucciarati."

"They haven't been gone long. This place is the closest girl's home to both the train station and the airport, so it's only their first stop," Illuso analyzed.

"To save time, they might split up to find the girls. After all, there are only four in Cagliari, not to mention they can't carry these girls around like we can." Prosciutto walked to the balcony, looked down at the rapidly moving cars below, and suddenly said, "That would take too much of our time."

"Now is a race against time."

"We should also split up," Prosciutto suggested.

Indeed, at this moment, anyone striving for time would realize the benefits of splitting up.

Currently, only a little over a day has passed since the betrayal. Even the Boss couldn't mobilize too many subordinates. Now, only Bucciarati's Team, which he had chosen before, and Pericolo could continue searching for Trish.

Pericolo is not a Stand User, and to ensure safety and trust, very few of his subordinates are Stand Users.

The real enemy is Bucciarati.

As Risotto said, they are now in the same city. This city is both large and small. They have never met, yet they are sworn enemies—

Now is the time for a reckoning.

"Alright!" Risotto said. "Melone, divide the team. We'll split up."

"Melone, you don't have a Stand. Find a safe, crowded place to control the situation," Risotto continued.

Then Prosciutto, who was standing on the balcony, walked over and said, "Pesci, at four and five o'clock downstairs, and in the building across the street, there are a few cell phones. Use your Beach Boy to reel them in."

Then Prosciutto walked in front of Risotto and said to him, "Risotto, you stay with Melone. We'll go and catch them."

"You're going to be the Boss someday. We subordinates can handle this."
