While the girls talked among themselves, the boys on the other side of the table were involved in their own debate.
"Come on, man, everyone has a price! One million dollars then", Bucky says indignantly at what he had just heard. He was dressed casually, wearing a green T-shirt, sweatpants, and slippers.
"One million to run naked in a public place? Dude, I wouldn't do that shit for any money in the world", Jimmy asks, raising his eyebrows as if he were considering it, only to deny it with an amused smile the next moment. He was dressed in an oversized plain white T-shirt, black shorts, his old, worn-out sneakers, and a dark blue cap worn backwards, and leaning on the table next to him were his skateboard and a guitar he had managed to borrow from Miss Peters.
"I'd make that deal, and it wouldn't take much to convince me! Five hundred million and I'd even agree to turn this into an event with an audience", Pete comments suddenly, being the first time he spoke since this topic came up. Dressed casually, just like everyone else in the room.
Snorting, Algie comments, mocking Pete's face, "Five hundred million dollars? Stop lying, Petey! You'd do that for much less."
"Shut up, Algie! Now all that's left is for you to tell me you wouldn't make that deal either", Pete retorts, annoyed.
"For five hundred million? I'd dance on a pole naked easily", Algie, completely comfortable among friends, says without a hint of shame for the atrocity he just uttered.
"That's disgusting, man! Why did you put that image in my head?", Jimmy comments with an expression of disgust, really wanting to wash his brain with bleach in the hope of erasing that demonic image that had stuck in his mind.
Looking strangely at Algie, Bucky comments before turning to Jimmy and saying, bragging about being right, "Dude... I'll just tell you that was unnecessary! Anyway, like I was saying, everyone has a price, Jim."
"Why would I run naked for five hundred million if I can get that same amount of money by working?", Jimmy asks in a logical way; this kind of game simply didn't work well on him.
"Dude, stop being annoying", Bucky complains. It was just a stupid game; it didn't have to be logical.
"I'm not being annoying, I'm just being logical! If I'm going to run naked in a public place, it won't be for money", Jimmy defends himself, pointing out that running naked was never the problem for him; it's just that money wasn't a good enough incentive for him to even consider doing something like that.
Raising an eyebrow in surprise, Bucky asks while adjusting his glasses, "So what would it take for you to run naked?"
"Like I fucking know! You're the one who has to give me a plausible reason for running naked in public to be something I would even consider doing", Jimmy says, shrugging. It's Bucky who has to come up with the game, not him.
Suddenly, before the conversations could continue, Melvin gets everyone's attention: "Guys, I'm ready here! Shall we get started?"
And upon receiving a nod from all the players, he begins to narrate, capturing the full attention of everyone present, "Space, home to an infinity of celestial bodies.
Among this immensity, one celestial body stands out in our view, a blue and green planet, orbiting a star easily three times the size of our Sun; around it, five natural satellites orbit.
This same planet is at least one-third the size of our Sun, but it's not its size that draws our attention; it's its history.
At some point in its existence, its inhabitants began calling it Arcadia, and the name stuck.
It so happens that Arcadia has already been home to many myths, legends, and stories; the civilization has been restarted more times than can be counted on two hands, and who knows how many apocalypses have swept across this planet.
Gods, Demons, Mythical Creatures, Colossal Beasts, every kind of being once walked freely across Arcadia; most of them, if not extinct, are now locked away in other dimensions, but that's not important at first.
Nowadays, many intelligent species live on this planet in a delicate harmony, so to speak; they have built kingdoms and empires, formed enmities and alliances, waged wars, taken slaves, freed slaves, but again, that's not important at first.
On the central continent, there is a small kingdom that was once an empire; here, various intelligent species live in harmony. Of course, discrimination and racism exist, but if compared to the rest of the world, this place is a paradise.
This kingdom is called Magnolia, and our story begins on the cobblestone-paved streets of Magnolia's capital, Lalo.
Bea and Bucky, you can describe your characters for us!"
Taking the initiative, Beatrice begins to describe her character, who had already accompanied her since the last campaign that Melvin DM'ed in this same setting, "Agnes Heartstone is a white elf, with short blonde hair at neck length, wavy at the ends, and her face is what one expects from an elf, ethereally beautiful.
She wears blue mage robes, and as one might guess, she is a mage; what cannot be guessed, however, is that she specializes in runes and in breaking ritualistic curses.
She is intelligent, prefers observing rather than talking, and knows Bucky's character from a past adventure."
As soon as Beatrice finishes describing her character, Bucky takes her place, describing his character, who has also accompanied him since Melvin's last campaign, "Well, Tristan is a six-meter-tall half-giant, built like a pure muscle war tank; he is tanned, bald, and has a full beard that he is very fond of and takes great care of.
His face gives the impression that he has already fought in many wars, manly and stern-looking, but the reality is that, like most pure-blood giants, he is a laid-back guy who prefers dialogue over resorting to violence.
But that doesn't change the fact that when left with no choice, he turns into a bloodthirsty war machine.
He's wearing a suit of metal plate armor with a torn blue cape fastened to his back.
And as a respectable half-giant warrior with a tank archetype, he walks around carrying a war hammer and a round shield."

(AN: 1,057 Words)
Just to clarify, I've never played at an RPG table myself; I've only watched, so I know almost nothing about systems and stuff like that.
Quick explanation that will appear in all chapters from now on: If you can get this fic up to the top 50 in the Power Stones ranking and keep it at least there, I promise to publish two full chapters per week, divided into four smaller chapters throughout the week because the site prefers to reward frequency over anything else.
Thank you for reading another chapter!
