"They have two teams. They must have the scroll we want. Kill them!"
Several voices echoed from the woods, trying to apply psychological pressure on Itsuki and the others.
They kept nagging in the shadows but never showed themselves.
When the threats failed, six kunai suddenly flew out from the trees, each aimed at one of them.
But their aim was clumsy and far from accurate.
"It's too noisy!" Itsuki raised his hand and released a gust of wind, blowing all the kunai away with ease.
Just as he was about to move, Yakumo pulled a paintbrush from her pocket.
"Leave it to me!" she said firmly.
Her brush danced in the air, then struck down with force.
Boom!!
Several bolts of lightning fell into the woods. Screams echoed briefly, then silence followed.
"They were just clowns. There was no need for Itsuki-kun to act," Yakumo said calmly as she put away her brush.
Her casual display of power shocked Shikamaru and Choji.
They had thought this sickly-looking girl was just there to fill numbers, but her strength was terrifying!
"Yakumo, you're amazing!" Ino praised. She handed a piece of meat to her and said, "This is your reward."
"Thank you." Yakumo smiled softly, her eyes stealing a glance at Itsuki.
Thanks to him, she could now use her powers freely. Her life finally felt hopeful.
But she never forgot her vow—to one day accompany Itsuki across the starry sky.
For that, her current strength was still not enough.
After that encounter, no one else dared to bother them.
The group laughed, ate, and relaxed until even Shikamaru's stomach was swollen from food.
Then, Sakura's panicked voice came through the chat group.
Sasuke had been attacked by Orochimaru again, leaving a strange mark on his neck.
His chakra was in chaos, his body burned with fever, and he had fallen into a deep coma.
Orochimaru?!
Everyone who received the message was stunned. Hadn't he escaped already? Yet he came back again!
Itsuki was also surprised. He had expected Orochimaru to return eventually, but not this soon.
Beaten away once and already back—his persistence was terrifying.
Still, Itsuki wasn't too concerned about Sasuke. He had never intended to be his babysitter. He had protected him once; that was enough.
Besides, it was only a curse mark. It wouldn't kill him.
If Sasuke knew what it truly was, he might even blame Itsuki for interfering at all.
The following days passed uneventfully.
Itsuki, Karin, and Yakumo rode on the back of a massive brown bear, eating, drinking, and playing along the way.
It looked less like a Chunin Exam and more like a casual picnic.
A few challengers tried to test them, but Karin defeated them in a single move, or Yakumo dispatched them just as easily. No one posed any real threat.
By now, they had gathered five scrolls—two Heaven and three Earth. As long as they reached the central tower in time, they would pass.
Eventually, even the other candidates stopped trying to approach. The sight of the big brown bear was enough to make them scatter.
[Ding! Group membership quota +1. Randomly selecting new member. Please wait…]
[Ding! Selection complete. New member is "Yugao Uzuki." Adding member to the Fabrication System System chat group.]
[Ding! Yugao Uzuki successfully joined the "Itsuki Harem Chat Group."]
A new member appeared, another from Konoha.
But by now, Itsuki was used to it. He no longer reacted like he had in the beginning.
Even if Kaguya suddenly joined, well… he'd still be shocked, but not that shocked.
Yugao was good friends with Anko and Kurenai. With their help, she quickly learned the functions of the chat group.
But she couldn't accept the idea that her strength could grow by "pleasing" Itsuki.
For now, she only treated it as a communication tool—unlike Sakura, who had once threatened to leave the group entirely.
"The second exam is almost over. Next comes the preliminaries," Itsuki muttered, stroking his chin.
With his intervention, the number of passing teams would differ from the original, though not by much.
Konoha's 12 genin would likely pass, along with the Sand team, Kabuto's team, and the Sound team.
All of them either had enough strength or enough luck. Unless Itsuki decided otherwise, they'd pass.
"Should I fabricate the future and assign suitable opponents?"
In truth, he wanted to use his Fabrication ability to strengthen some of the group members.
But they were different from him, and the range of what he could adjust reasonably was limited.
Still, helping them pass the preliminaries was no problem. Their real growth could come afterward.
With that decided, Itsuki made his arrangements.
Not long after, a future video was uploaded to the chat group.
[Yamanaka Ino: Spoilers, spoilers! I'm looking forward to the next stages of the Chunin Exams!]
[Haruno Sakura: Phew, we're still one scroll short, so this might be tough…]
[Hinata Hyuga: Sakura, you can do it! I believe in you!]
[Haruno Sakura: Thanks, Hinata. But so many teams have already passed. If we can't find a scroll, there's nothing we can do.]
[Tenten: You don't sound motivated at all. Have you already given up?]
[Haruno Sakura: No, it's not that. I feel like I've grown a lot in this exam. Even if I'm eliminated, I'll try again next time—and win for sure!]
[Karin: Sakura won't be traumatized from Orochimaru, right?]

[The scene opened in the central tower. All who had passed the second exam gathered together.]
[A total of 21 participants: Konoha's 12, the Sand team, Kabuto's team, and Itsuki's team.]
[The preliminaries began.]
[Yakushi Kabuto withdrew immediately.]
[First Match: Sasuke vs. Karin. Weakened by the Curse Mark, Sasuke was helpless. Karin activated her Diamond Seal and crushed him swiftly.]
[Second Match: Ino vs. Yoroi Akado. His chakra absorption was troublesome at first, but Ino used an explosive tag for distance, trapped him in a genjutsu she secretly learned from Sakura, then landed a successful Mind Transfer. Yoroi surrendered.]
[Third Match: Tenten vs. Choji. Tenten's weapon mastery easily overwhelmed him, earning her victory.]
[Fourth Match: Temari vs. Itsuki. Temari unleashed her full power, but none of her techniques could harm Itsuki. In the end, she admitted defeat.]
[Fifth Match: Naruto vs. Kiba. Naruto farted. Kiba fainted.]
[Sixth Match: Gaara vs. Rock Lee. Lee opened the Fifth Gate, but even so, he was defeated.]
[Seventh Match: Hinata vs. Misumi Tsurugi. A crushing victory for Hinata.]
[Eighth Match: Neji vs. Shino. Shino fought hard, but Neji's overwhelming strength carried the day.]
[Ninth Match: Yakumo vs. Kankuro. For reasons no one could understand, Kankuro was completely defeated.]
[Tenth Match: Sakura vs. Shikamaru. Not fierce, but thrilling nonetheless. Sakura managed to win in the end.]
