The blinding light pillar illuminates the whole desert in the middle of the night, but no one can see it because this pillar of light wasn't in the desert at all. It was completely a separate realm. A world untouched by humans, roamed by the dead.
In front of us, a giant pyramid had started to manifest like an illusion coming to reality. It was huge, made up of gold, filled with dragon carvings on the walls, and a huge gate in front giving us a way in. In complete contrast to the light outside, inside was filled with darkness.
After the ruins had manifested, I put back the golden crown and walked inside. Just when I was a step away from the entrance, I turned around and looked at the others who were still standing outside, blankly.
