"Hello?!!"
Several hours later, Enzo appeared outside a small garage opening on the side of an old, decrepit apartment building on the outskirts of fort Marie.
Home. He hadn't been home in so long, it was distant.
The place hadn't changed one bit though; it was exactly how he remembered it. The mold covered pile wood doors, the Murky puddles of water, that old tree, the grease stained mechanical equipment and the smell of burning wood.
It was exactly as he remembered it.
"Enzo?" From the corner of his eye, he soon noticed his mother stepping into the open with widened eyes filled with surprise.
Even she looked exactly as he remembered in his memories.
"Hehe, yes, it's me. I'm bac…" Before he could finish his words, a gust of wind blew at him as he was instantly engulfed in a warm, encompassing hug.
"Why didn't you tell me!!" Before Enzo could make sense of it, the cracked voice of his mother sounded in his ears, drips of tears pouring down her eyes and onto his shirt.
