Chapter 260 - Chapter 261

Chapter 261: Yasushi's Uchiha Revival Plan

On the battlefield's opposite side, the moment combat ceased, Zetsu emerged.

"Lord Madara, is this partner satisfactory to you?"

"Hmph!" Madara tilted his head arrogantly. "His strength is decent. He has my former style."

"I'm willing to acknowledge him."

"Regarding the plan, you can advance it together with him."

"With his current strength, that Nagato brat shouldn't match him anymore."

"Previously, Lord Yasushi and Nagato had a conflict. They fought once, ultimately ending in a draw."

"Oh? Young Nagato has already grown that strong?" Madara was quite surprised.

However, Zetsu didn't mention this had occurred long ago—back when Yasushi couldn't yet deploy Perfect Susanoo or Sage Mode. Nor did he tell Madara about the pair of Tenseigan Yasushi possessed that went unused during their previous battle.

He hadn't yet resolved the Six Paths Sage threat. He didn't want to accelerate the Moon's Eye Plan so quickly. Madara's resurrection would actually make things less controllable.

Anyway, Madara currently existed as an Edo Tensei body—restricted in movement, all intelligence sourced through him. He could say whatever he wanted.

"Lord Madara, the current priority is determining where the Sage of Six Paths hides and eliminating him."

"Otherwise, even if we revive the Ten-Tails and activate the Moon's Eye Plan, he'll ultimately sabotage it."

"We only get one chance. We can't risk it."

"Hmph. The Sage of Six Paths." Madara also felt displeased with the Sage.

"Look at this shinobi world! The ninshu he established didn't restore peace. Instead, after mastering powerful chakra forces, warfare intensified further. Casualties multiplied."

"Whether the Rabbit Goddess or the Sage of Six Paths—both their efforts toward peace failed."

"The Rabbit Goddess erred by attempting to forcibly bind human hearts through power."

"The Sage of Six Paths erred believing human nature could be 'guided'."

"But I will neither 'bind' nor 'guide'—I will create an entirely new world."

"This world is beyond saving!"

"What can save this world is only..."

"The Moon's Eye Plan." Madara pronounced each word deliberately, his voice carrying intoxicating conviction.

His gaze turned toward the approaching Yasushi, urging persuasively:

"Yasushi, I've heard about your deeds from Zetsu."

"It's painful, isn't it?"

"With your entire clan annihilated, only you remain alone in this world."

"You also hate this filthy world, don't you?"

"Just watching your actions, I know your heart overflows with pain and hatred."

"Yasushi, join me!"

"You and I are the same type of person."

"Your Sharingan carries the hatred and longing of your entire clan. This power shouldn't be wasted on meaningless revenge."

"You should use it to create a world where no one ever experiences your suffering again."

"When Infinite Tsukuyomi's light envelops the entire shinobi world, everyone will obtain everything they desire in dreams."

"You'll see your parents again. They'll smile while serving you hot meals."

"You'll watch your brother grow into adulthood, practicing Fire Release together at the Uchiha compound."

"Itachi will regret his actions. Konoha will pay for past sins."

"In that world, there's no betrayal, no sacrifice, no this damned, blood-soaked so-called 'peace'—only eternal tranquility and harmony."

Madara stared intently at Yasushi, slowly extending his hand.

"Well? Yasushi—will you continue sinking in this rotten world, or join me in tearing apart darkness to establish true peace?"

"Tch!" Yasushi impatiently slapped Madara's extended hand away. "You're wrong. I'm not the same type of person as you."

"You harbor grand ambitions, wanting to find a permanently peaceful solution for the shinobi world."

"But I'm different. I don't care whether the shinobi world lives or dies!"

"I only care about myself. I only care about the Uchiha clan."

"Your ridiculous Moon's Eye Plan—ultimately just false self-consolation, isn't it?"

"I'm different. If I obtain the Rinnegan, I can use Rinne Rebirth to revive the entire Uchiha clan."

"Not your happiness in dreams, but genuinely living with flesh and blood in reality."

"As long as the Uchiha clan thrives, I don't care whether outsiders live or die."

"If they want to slaughter each other, let them slaughter away."

"If they court death themselves, let them die."

"Hahaha..." After hearing this, Madara burst into laughter, pointing at Yasushi mockingly: "What a childish notion!"

"This shinobi world is a massive purgatory. Everyone living within cannot escape pain's destiny."

"You think reviving clansmen will grant you happiness?"

"Dream on!"

"As long as conflict and hatred exist in the shinobi world, suffering never ends."

"The Uchiha clansmen you revive will simply die again in repeated wars, making you taste pain over and over."

"Only my plan truly solves problems permanently, ensuring you never suffer again."

"Heh..." Yasushi showed complete indifference to Madara's mockery, instead sneering back: "With your cultural level, you can only conceive such foolish ideas."

"I'm far smarter than you."

"You've forgotten—I possess the Rinnegan too."

"If clansmen die in battle, I'll just revive them again!"

"Why would I suffer?"

Madara's smile froze. He narrowed his eyes, regarding Yasushi with pitying eyes before shaking his head.

"You think Rinne Rebirth can casually revive people?"

"It requires consuming life force!"

"The more people revived, the more life force consumed."

"Your method ultimately just uses your own life force to extend clansmen's lives."

"Once your life force depletes, the Uchiha clan still faces only destruction."

Yasushi continued regarding Madara like an idiot, mocking:

"Which eye saw me as someone who'd sacrifice himself for others?"

"I haven't stolen the Rinnegan to start reviving clansmen precisely because I haven't yet found methods to plunder life force from others."

"Once I successfully find a solution, every shinobi in this world becomes my livestock. I'll use that resurrection technique however I want."
