After the double thunderstorm raged through the core ruins, the entire area was transformed into a massive crater, as if struck by a giant meteorite. The crater was filled with broken ice, and from above, it resembled a vast frozen lake.
Nicole Robin slowly opened her beautiful eyes. Her face flushed, panic evident in her gaze.
During the thunderstorm, she had accidentally clung tightly to Victor, holding onto his body.
Even more embarrassing, her delicate body pressed perfectly against his—especially her proud chest, slightly deformed by the contact.
The moment she realized the situation, Robin's first reaction was pure, rare shyness… followed by another thought.
This man… is so hard… so strong…
"Victor… I'm sorry."
Robin released him and stood on the ice beside her, turning her head to hide her flustered expression.
"Ah! It's nothing, but… sorry for destroying the core ruins…"
Victor quickly avoided the topic. After all, the ruins were already shattered, and any clues about O'Hara were likely gone.
"If no one exists, hometown can only exist in memories…"
Robin didn't dwell on the loss. Her eyes flickered with both loneliness and brilliance. Her hometown had been destroyed when she was eight. For years, she had survived with the reputation of a devil child and a high bounty. Those years were cruel, filled with tragedy. But now, she had a partner she trusted completely, and her heart had emerged from the darkness.
Though O'Hara still pained her, she was no longer consumed by it.
Victor looked at Robin but said nothing. Words wouldn't comfort someone like her, and the battle was far from over.
Despite the double thunder eliminating most of CP0, Aokiji remained a threat. Victor never intended to seriously harm the former admiral; his focus had been only to eliminate mortal CP0 agents.
But what had Aokiji been planning with all his strange actions?!
Victor scanned with his Observation Haki, but before he could locate Aokiji, he was shocked. The ice beneath him was melting rapidly, transforming into deep blue seawater.
In an instant, Victor understood. He tried to dodge, but his thunder abilities had vanished.
Robin and Enel were also submerged, while only Sabo could move freely. Sabo sensed something was wrong and attempted a rescue, but an icy figure repelled him instantly.
"Ah la la la, Victor… it's such a shame to see a guy like you die. That thunderstorm was terrifying, but it also sealed your fate. If you survive, I might consider joining your pirate group!"
Aokiji, having repelled Sabo, coldly addressed Victor, who was being swallowed by the seawater, a trace of regret in his voice. He acknowledged that a kid like Victor could eventually become a hegemon in the New World—but all that mattered now was the sea around them.
In this Reverse Ice Age, all Devil Fruit users would perish. Not even Whitebeard, Edward Newgate, could survive if submerged too long.
"Victor! Robin! Enel!"
Sabo still wanted to save them, but with Aokiji's obstruction, he was powerless. He could only watch Victor and the others being swallowed.
"Damn Aokiji! When I escape, I'll make you a walking refrigerator on my ship for half a month, if not a full month!"
Victor raged.
He had never imagined that Aokiji could turn earth into ice and then transform that ice into seawater—a method defying the laws of nature. Could it be that at full power, Aokiji could manipulate any object he touched, changing its elemental properties?!
Aokiji was worthy of his former admiral title. Even with Victor underestimating him, his strength and technique were godlike.
"Robin… Enel…"
Victor sank to the bottom. Robin and Enel were near, but the latter had lost consciousness and continued to descend.
Once submerged, Devil Fruit users weaken, lose mobility, and soon lose consciousness. Victor, having eaten the Thunder Fruit, had never touched seawater before—but now he felt different.
Though he couldn't move initially, his body remained full of strength. Only his Thunder Fruit ability was blocked.
What is going on?!
Even with strength, movement was impossible—until the system spoke.

Even without Thunder Fruit abilities, Victor's strength was formidable.
His only thought now: drag Aokiji into the water and beat him up.
Of course, Robin and Enel needed rescue first. With the Thunder Fruit suppressed and his electromagnetic field gone, Observation Haki could not be used.
Turning in the water, Victor was shocked. Robin and Enel were being dragged away separately.
At the same time, two black shadows swam up from below. Just as Victor prepared to strike, he realized the shadows were a cute little girl and a beautiful woman.
The little girl held a piece of shale with neat words engraved:
