Chapter 22 - The Afterlife

The Afterlife is known to be the Promised Land or most commonly known as Heaven, is a higher reality that only those who had passed away could spiritually enter even if the being is a conceptual being. It is a place that lacks dimensionality, space and time, and is a transcendent land over meta-frameworks. It is, of course, considered to be a location that sees all of existence and nonexistence as a fictional concept within a story. It was an omnipresent place that exists across all timelines, dimensions and reality at the same time.

The Spirit of Time, who had died from an unknown death, had arrived into the Promised Land. She glances around and woken up disoriented and lost.

"Where... am I? Aurora? Where are you!" shouts the Spirit of Time, lost and confused. She started floating around the Promised Land, searching for some answers.

Some angels and archangels had noticed her, roaming around. They were surprised a spirit like her could access and enter the Promised Land.

"Hey, do you know where I am?" says the Spirit of Time, confused.

"This is the Promised Land, or commonly known as Heaven. I see you arrived." the archangel had smiled and held her hands together.

The Spirit of Time was confused, and tilted her head to the left a bit. Of course the archangel continued holding her hand together with a smile.

"The Promised Land?" The Spirit of Time wasn't sure about it. She was still disoriented from her awakening.

"Yup! Let me show you around!" says the archangel, smiling in joy.

She nodded as she followed him around through the Promised Land. Through the time being of awakening there, the Spirit of Time had finally finished the tour.

"My name is Gabriel, one of the Seven Archangels." says Gabriel. He continued to smile as The Spirit of Time's eyes widened in shock.

"Wait, THE Gabriel? You mean to tell me the same Gabriel, the brother of Lucifer?!" she was surprised at first. She hadn't realized she had been speaking to one of Lucifer's siblings.

"That's me!" He was bright. Gabriel had blonde hair and blue eyes like the morningstars.

Then, the True God or known as the Creator had descended downwards from the Heavenly Sky.

"Hello Diane my child, I see you're doing well and had arrived home." he says with a smile.

The Spirit of Time glanced at him and was confused, but she sighed in sorrow.

"I don't go by that name anymore." says the Spirit of Time or now known as Diane.

"My child, even if you don't go by that name anymore, I'll still call you by your name given to you." the True God smiled. His human and physical form had wore white clothing to represent peace and joy.

His white boots, pants, suit and rolled up sleeves, and white long coat with gold accents were heavenly.

"Gabriel, tell the others to set a celebration party up for Diane yes? Make sure it's also set up for Miya as well." his smile was bright and heavenly. He was peaceful and quite a god.

"Wait, Miya is here too?" says Diane (Spirit of Time), as her eyes widened in surprise.

"Hm? Yes my child, she's here too." the True God smiled as he summoned out his white with golden and red accent top hat and puts it on.

Diane started getting emotional, her lips trembled in sadness. Her tears fell from her eyelids, and she sniffs.

"R-Really? She's actually here? I missed her, she didn't come visit me and Aurora. I always assumed she was busy, and I was correct!" Diane stammers as she cries and her heart aches painfully.

"Yes my child. She's here." says the True God with a bright and heavenly smile, as he hugs her tightly.

She continued sniffing and crying her heart out as the True God pats her head, comforting her.

"There there my child, let it all out." he continued wearing a smile, showing joy and care.

Gabriel and the other archangels were setting up the party for both arrival. As they were setting up everything, they notices Diane and they smiled, feeling heart warmth. They felt happy for her.

Miya had then woke up. Her eyes slowly opened up. The True God and Diane glanced over.

"What...?" says Miya as she is disoriented. She rubbed her head and is unsure where she is.

"Welcome my child. This is the Promised Land, or commonly known as Heaven!" says Gabriel with a bright and heavenly smile.

Diane then jumped on Miya. She had noticed something off. Diane's halo was visible, but had noticed her halo isn't.

"My child. If you're curious about your halo, then anyone who had completely died, their halo is visible, meaning their time has come to an end, but those who had died when their time of death has yet to arrive, isn't visible to others." says the True God as he smiles.

"The... spirit of time? Wait... what's going on?" says Miya as she stood up.

"This is the Promised Land my child, although at some point, I'll have to send you back down." says the True God. He already knew that this was part of his own plan for all existences.

Miya was unsure, and touched the top of her head, trying to feel out the halo. She then touches Diane's halo, and felt that it had a heavenly touch. It had a feeling of being in peace and having joy.

"Miya, my real name is Diane, although you can still call me the Spirit of Time." she still had tears in her eyes as she smiled.

The True God smiled at them both, seeing how cute their relationship is.

"You both can call me your father, or God is fine." he chuckled with his hand over his mouth.

His figure wasn't so big but it wasn't so small either. Miya glanced at his human vessel. It was like her body type, but a bit more masculine than feminine.

"Diane... I'm sorry I couldn't visit you.." said Miya as she hugs her as tears forms through her eyes.

Her tears started falling as Diane and Miya hugged each other tightly.

God smiled, enjoying the peaceful scene that is unfolding in front of him. Gabriel and the other archangels smiled as well as they finish setting everything up.

Back down in the space outside of the physical universe, Michael, the Outer God, continued his clash with newly awakened dragons.

The dragons continued attacking Michael SS he avoided them easily.

"These dragons sure are weak, although they lasted longer than I expected. Their durability is immense, as well as their speed and strength." says Michael with a smile and erases them one by one.

The dragons had turned into nothingness. Their source was gone instantly with their physical and conceptual existence.

"Such weak dragons... their conceptual existence are what makes it complicated as well as their well-known immortality of being above life and death as well." says Michael as their source of evil disappears completely.

Vōniur was forced to be sent home, allowing Michael to do the work. He started roaming around, knowing the Time War is still going on between organizations and mages.

"This isn't about mages and shit anymore, this journey Miya is on... is something she'll have to prepare.." Michael murmurs as he goes around space.

There was a heavenly orb that was watching everything. It was God's way of making sure everything is ok.

Father, I know you're watching. If this is part of your plan, I dislike it. But I'll have to go along with it if this is your way to get Miya to become stronger. Michael's thoughts were calm, but has a hint of seriousness.

He continued roaming around space, seeing other dimensions.

"These organizations... really trying to start a fucking problem with us. Mira lied about ithers surrendering. She was being manipulated..." says Michael as he speaks quietly.

As he flew around, God and the others from the Promised Land continued watching. Miya, however was training.

«Michael my child... you aren't me, you are you. Be careful. I worry about you as much as I do with my nonexistent life. If I lose you, I will come down myself and eradict them all..» God's thoughts were filled with worry, he was telepathetically speaking to Michael.

I know father. Michael's response was quick and simple.

Everyone continued watching, including Gabriel and the other archangels. They finished setting the heavenly herb tea with smiles as Miya and Diane sat and took a sip.

While Michael was flying around. Another archangel, Raphael had also been watching everything. His worrisome had resembled his worries and caringness.

"It had came to a conclusion that, in order to end the Time War, Michael must destroy all of the organizations who chooses to affect and destroy all timelines. If not, the war will continue on for centuries on end." says Raphael calmly.

God nodded, as they continued to watch the conflict go on while Michael is flying through space, and even outside the multiverse, to find the organizations.
