Kai and Kurt could clearly see the presence of the large bear from their hiding place, which was behind the bushes. The bear was sleeping peacefully.

Kai said in a voice louder than Kurt's. That made the bear angry and give a sharp glare at the two of them.

The bear's roar could be clearly heard by both of them. Then, without thinking further, the two of them immediately ran with all their strength. Not long after, the bear began chasing them at a speed no less great than theirs.
After seeing Kai and Kurt along with the bear disappear from her sight, Claire immediately came out of her hiding place, which was not very far from where Kai and Kurt had been hiding.
"Hmm... it seems safe now... Katie, Elly... you can come out."
As soon as they heard that, Katie and Elly immediately followed Claire out of their hiding place.
"Will they be okay?"
"Honey.... honey...."
While Elly looked worried about the condition of Kai and Kurt who had disappeared from their sight, Katie seemed to be focused only on the honey that was somewhere unknown.

Katie said while lifting a jar filled with honey high into the air. A happy smile was clearly visible on her beautiful face.
"That's good... Let's leave immediately, before the bear comes back here!"
Claire invited Katie and Elly to leave from there before danger came to them.

But her steps immediately stopped when she heard Elly's voice that sounded shocked.

Claire asked in a confused tone while walking toward the pink-haired girl. Meanwhile, Katie looked busy tasting the honey she had just obtained.
"It seems I found something that might be able to help the village."
Elly said in a serious tone. Claire looked sharpened her eyes with a serious expression, then turned her head so she could see what object Elly had found.

Claire said in surprise as soon as she realized what object Elly meant.
While the girls were busy in the bear's nest, Kai and Kurt were still struggling to save their lives from the rampage of a bear that looked extremely large.
"Why do I have to go through something like this!?"
Complained Kai, who did not lower his running speed at all.
"Stop complaining and speed up your steps, if you still value your life!"
Replied Kurt, who was also running no less fast than Kai.
While they were running, the two of them accidentally stepped on something long with yellow and black stripes.
"Auuuuummmmmm!!!"
A very loud roar could be heard the moment they stepped on it.
"Well, did you hear that sound?"
Asked Kai, who looked pale.
"Yes, of course...."
Replied Kurt, who looked just as pale as Kai.
"Do you want to look back and see what happened?"
"Why don't you do it yourself?"
"I'm feeling a very bad feeling!"
"Do you think I'm not feeling the same thing!"

Kai and Kurt increased their speed while screaming loudly, once they were sure that a tiger was also chasing them.
As they ran, they stepped on various kinds of things until, without them realizing it, the animals chasing them increased one by one. Now they looked like they were being chased by animals from a zoo.
"Why do I have to go through something like this!?"
Kai repeated his previous question, but this time Kurt did not reply, because he also wanted to ask the same question as Kai. He did not do so, because he realized the reason why he was doing this.
For the sake of obtaining Katie's love, he had to make this small sacrifice.
With strong determination in his chest, Kurt tried to run with all his strength to save himself and return to Katie's embrace. Yes, even though Kurt knew that he might not receive an embrace from Katie, because the girl would feel too embarrassed to do such a thing, there was nothing wrong with him hoping, right?
After being chased by the inhabitants of the forest for quite a long time, Kai and Kurt could see the edge of the forest. They gathered all the strength they had, then jumped out of the forest at the same time.
