49. Let Me Feel Good
"Hey, what's going on here?"
Puppets gathered around one after another. Even though they had become Herrscher of Domination, their love for watching fun was still deeply ingrained in their hearts.
"What a terrifying darkness..." Klein wiped her non-existent saliva.
"Even if all of us combined, we can't match your negative emotions. What on earth have you been through?"
A flash of madness and submission flashed in Klein's eyes.
The other puppets didn't believe it and tried to touch Ling. As a result, without exception, they all knelt on the ground and retched.
That was a darkness that penetrated deep into the bone marrow, Ling's original sin.
"I think... he is suitable to be our leader. What do you think?" a puppet suggested.
"Leader? He looks so stupid. I don't think that's possible." Another puppet refused decisively.
Then he was hammered.
"You are not allowed to insult my idol!"
Ling's mouth twitched slightly. Why are there still his fans here?
"How about using it as a mascot? It will remind us at all times how hopeless this world is." Klein offered a pertinent suggestion.
"Oh, I see. Just touch it when you're not determined."
"Is he some kind of Buddha statue?"
The puppets were talking in a flurry. Ling didn't know what the situation was, but it seemed like it was not a very pleasant place.
"Anyway, it's decided. Now... let's get to work!"
"Destroy everything, destroy everything. This world is not beautiful at all! Forever and ever."
"Let us strengthen our resolve first."
Klein took the lead and shook Ling's hand again.
The nausea I had just felt disappeared, and was replaced by... a great feeling!
The ultimate refreshing feeling!
A blush appeared on Klein's childish face, her eyes rolled up subconsciously, and her tongue stuck out slightly.
Then she lay gorgeously again.
"Hey, hey, are you GC?"
"Could it be that he did something?"
The other puppets looked at Klein, who was twitching on the ground, and pointed their fingers at Ling again.
"Let me try..." A few more puppets came forward and touched Ling tentatively.
All the puppets that just touched him also fell to the ground and acted like Klein, while those that had not touched him were kneeling on the ground, retching.
Ling blinked and roughly guessed that it was the thing in his spiritual world that was causing trouble.
When Klein recovered, she couldn't help but hold Ling's hand again, and then lie down again...
After repeating this several times, Klein finally managed to move her gaze away from Ling.
This person is almost equivalent to some kind of psychotropic drug, and the kind that you get addicted to after just one use...
If this continues, their idea of destroying the world will be thwarted.
It's cool and that's all...
"Okay, stop for a moment." Seeing that the puppets around him were still touching him, Klein spoke up to stop them.
"The first thing we should do now is to formulate a plan to destroy the world. As for enjoying ourselves...it won't be too late to wait for a while."
"Is there no one asking for my opinion?" Ling raised his hand silently.
The remaining 999 puppets all looked at him.
Ling silently put his hand down again, and they continued their discussion with satisfaction.
"Our biggest enemy right now is the Fire Moth. And among the Fire Moth, Dr. Mai and Dr. Mobius should be our biggest enemies right now!"
"Dr. Mei is responsible for commanding the entire Fire Moth, and Dr. Mobius's research can continuously enhance the power of the Fire Moth."
"Now, the puppets lurking in the Fire Moth, please step out."
With a swish, more than a dozen puppets came out.
"Very good. You find a way to assassinate Dr. Mei. I will take care of Dr. Mobius." A twisted look flashed across Klein's face.
The dissatisfaction and evil in her heart had been magnified several times. She wanted to get rid of the inhumane "capitalist" like Mobius as soon as possible.
Fortunately, Mebius has almost 100% trust in her, so her assassination should go smoothly.
"The rest of you have begun to create chaos around the world. Each of you should have gained a certain amount of Herrscher power, right?"
"I am a weakened version of the Herrscher of Wind."
"I am a weakened version of the Herrscher of Fire."
Someone immediately stepped forward to respond.
"Excuse me...what is a Herrscher?" Ling asked a very suicidal question.
All the puppets looked at him again.
Shouldn't he have known this when he entered this space?
"Perhaps his evil intentions are too strong, and even the Theater of Domination cannot connect with his spirit..." Klein continued to speculate.
Ling just wanted to silently give Klein a thumbs up and show her love for her timely speculation.
"Doesn't that mean he's suspected of rebellion?" a puppet asked his own question.
"Idiot, since his evil thoughts have reached such a level, how could he still believe in this world?" The other puppets retorted.
"He should be the one least likely to betray us!" The puppets echoed.
The puppet that objected suddenly fell silent.
"I'll explain it to you later. Now let's deploy the destruction strategy."
For Klein, these things are already familiar to her. After all, she works 25 hours a day!
It wasn't long before Klein assigned tasks to each puppet.
Some are responsible for causing trouble, some are responsible for assassination, and some are responsible for spreading rumors.
The puppets who received the mission retreated one after another, and soon only Ling and Klein were left here.
Klein briefly explained what a Herrscher was and mentioned their current identity—the Herrscher of Domination.
But she did not tell him about Ling's life experience. After all, in her opinion, Ling's despair was the emptiness of the first half of his life.
Telling him wouldn't be a good idea.
After learning the whole story, Ling nodded in understanding.
"So what do I do now?"
"Don't do anything, just be our moral support."
"Although those who come here have basically lost hope in this world, but... humans are creatures that are prone to despicable behavior. If those in darkness are given a little sunshine, perhaps they will no longer be desperate."
"And you are the best medicine to maintain despair," Klein explained.
After witnessing this despair, Klein was almost certain that as long as Ling was still here, they would have a constant supply of negative emotions.
"Okay," Ling shouted as if giving up on himself.
"Don't be so discouraged. I have a bold idea. After the other puppets die, you may be able to seize their remaining powers and become our final trump card."
"Is it really okay for us to discuss the death of our 'companion' like this?" Ling couldn't help but complain.
"Casualties are inevitable, and the number will definitely not be small. I know very well how powerful the Fire Moth is."
Ling was silent and thought for a moment.
"Alright, leave the finishing touches to me... Okay?"
"Let me feel good before I act."
