"What is that, monster" Gale asked.
"a giant class ghoul beast, flame drake" Blade answered his expression stoned.
The group had their, muscle stout with tension weapon drawn, their breathing quiet, Lumen and Shadow activated their stealth cloak, essentially turning invisible, the flame drake as if waiting for that moment let out a furious roar.
~ROAR!~
It roar shaking the very air, sending out an explosive shock wave, spreading from its body as the center and spreading to it surrounding, lifting dirt, and debris into the air, the group had to braze themselves , to avoid being sent flying into the air.
there was a kind of quiet tension in the air after the explosion, it felt as if time froze for moment, suddenly, whoosh! the sound of a fast moving object cutting through the air was heard,
one moment the flame drake was in the air, the next it was right up in their face, but they were able to avoid it thanks to the preparation they made earlier, deploying jet pack, they were able to take off, into the air effectively dodging.
Escaping into the air, Blaze and Gale wasted no time, taking shots at the flame drake with explosive rounds,
~BOOM!
Shadow and Lumen who where lurking in the shadows, took the gap provided by the explosion, to lunch attack.
~ROAR!
The drake let out an angry roar, the shock wave effectively putting off the flame caused by the explosion, and when the shock wave subsided, the appearance of the drake came into view, seeing it without a trace of injury on its body, made freeze with tension, Lumen suddenly appeared beside Blaze and asked.
"do you think maybe we should make a run for it"
Blaze looked at Lumen thinking 'he does have great idea sometimes'
"Run!" without thinking about it twice, Blaze bolted for it.
Lumen also bolted, the rest of the group spread making a run for it, they scattered but some how they all manage to converge together, almost as if they made a plan, and the drake roaring in frustration chasing after them, finally stopped, taking a deep breath, with its chest glowing.
"every one converge, Tera shield, Blaze, Gale take a shot at its throat to reduce the power of its flame" Blade simple concise instruction to the group.
~WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
Gale and Blaze took their shot at that moment, causing it to exhale it flame prematurely, greatly reducing the force of the flame, at that moment.
~FWOOSH!
A tsunami of flamed was exhaled, burning down everything it its path heading for the group, their only line of defense being tera shield, and living the rest to the resistance.
"deploy the suits energy shield" Blaze issued.
~WHOOSH~
For a while there was only the sound of burning, and the world painted in the color of flames,
The force of the explosion threw the group a kilometer away, living them broken and strewn on the floor like corpses, and that was the only reason they survived, the drake looked at them from the air, seeing them laying still, with almost all of their bone broking, flew away living them to their own demise.

Moments after the flame died out, the group were lying on the ground, their breathing feint, as if it could stop at any moment, it was quiet when suddenly, the quiet was interrupted by a series of coughs.
cough! cough! cough! cough! cough!
The first to wake up was Tera, and the rest just following after her, but even after waking up she chose to remain quietly laying down where she was, the pain ravaging through her body, left her unable to make a sound, even breathing felt strenuous, even Lumen and Gale were quiet, showing just how much pain they were in,
But the group knew they couldn't stay, were they where, if not, if they were spotted by even crawlers, the bottom dregs of the ghoul beast, they would be done for, so biting down on their teeth, the group began to stir, crawling up from the ground to their feet with great effort,
With the amount of broken bone they have, they wouldn't be able to stand up normally, that's were the GBS suit come along, with the suit they could temporary, adjust the suit making it hold their bone in place, the only down side it is incredibly painful, to use this feature you have to be able to hold back the pain,
Which is easier said than done, they had to constantly fight the urge of blacking out, you see our mind has a feature of shutting it self off when the pain passes a certain threshold.

The group had to look for, an for a place were they could set up camp, knowing they couldn't go back to base, trudging down the burnt path created by the flame drake breath, with patches of glass scattered here and there in the area, the group moved for a while before finding a cave, where they planned to make their camp, they search the cave, but all they found was a nest with three eggs, each egg almost as big as a person.
"we should leave what ever left this egg is big and its goin to be coming back" Tera suggested.
"and go where, there isn't really a place to hide, lets say we left, if that flame drake spot us again we're dead, we wouldn't even be able to handle a medium class ghoul in our current state, much less a high class, we would be dead if we step outside" Gale refute.
"but we don't know that, but we do know that what ever left this egg is big and definitely a high class ghoul beast" Blaze added from the side.
"can you even move in your current condition" Frost asked.
"well if we're going to die I might as well eat those egg, I wonder how its going to taste" Lumen said before heading to the nest.
"yeah me too, might as well taste the best egg, before go" Gale added, following lumen.
The rest just shrug before following them, they didn't voice their opinion but every one had the same thought in their head 'might as well eat the offspring of what is going to kill me'
The group feasted on the egg, and when they woke up the next day, they where different, that lag in their suit that they didn't even know existed, was gone, their injuries almost healed, and even with the power crystal almost out of juice they felt they could do more with their suit.
