(Nava's POV)
Looking back at my juniors, they were all unique in their own right. It wasn't just that Dino and Pandora both possessed natural Stigmata; it was that their personalities and talents were unique in their own way.
Thanks to a wish I made to the ROB (Random Omnipotent Being) when I was transmigrated, I possess the ability of 'Analysis.' It's not a full-on analysis that gives a person's full name, age, or weaknesses, but rather a natural analysis that allows me to assess their personalities, mindset, and skill level.
Dino Zazel, that's Dino's full name, is a guy who awakened a natural Stigmata. I don't know how rare natural Stigmata are anymore; I mean, Teacher Adam has already found three of them, and two of those are males. I don't count myself because I have a Herrscher Stigmata.
As far as I've analyzed, Dino's laziness may stem from the fact that his master and his master's daughter died in front of him, being eaten alive by a huge Honkai Beast. He told me his previous master is the reason he even practices martial arts at all.
His natural Stigmata, if Teacher Adam is right, is connected to dreams. If it weren't focused only on dreams, I would have thought he had a Herrscher Stigmata of Sentience. He can control the dreams of other people. If he practices enough, he can enter a person's dream, control the dream environment, and make the dreamer remember everything that happens. He can also induce the urge to sleep and dream.
If he manages to master it in the future, he can also extend his control of dreams to the mind, giving him mind manipulation—basically making him a weaker version of the Herrscher of Sentience. He also practices dual-handed swordsmanship and a little bit of martial arts here and there.
Mammon Abraham is the greediest person I know. Luckily for us, his greed is focused only on the good side, such as his greed for more power to protect us. He doesn't have a natural Stigmata, but before Lan and I left, Teacher Adam told us he was considering giving the remaining juniors an artificial Stigmata.
That guy practices hand-to-hand combat because, as he quoted: "Beating someone with my fist satisfies my greed of beating someone up." A crazy guy, I might add—just behind Pandora's craziness. That girl still gives me the creeps.
Now, Flores Evangelion, the last of the boys. Boy, was his name fancy. I heard he was born in France but is in Nagaroza to continue his studies here. He has a huge talent for giant swordsmanship. And when I say huge, I mean huge. That guy once watched as Teacher Adam performed a swordsmanship technique using a claymore, and he immediately learned it.
His talent focuses more on learning, unlike mine, which is focused on destruction, and Lan's, which is focused on freedom. This is also unlike Dino, who focuses on creation, Pandora's talent for corruption, Shane's talent for death, Mammon's talent for greed, and more. I have nothing to say about him except that he is a neutral guy who won't take any side if he can help it.
Shane Mistosa is a girl with a strange fascination towards the concept of death. Teacher Adam once told me that when he gave them a week to move freely in his library, Shane was always studying everything about death. While Dino was studying how to sleep while standing, she was studying every mythological god connected to the concept of death, like Nyx, Hades, Anubis, and more.
Her talent with mid-range weapons is no joke. She is so talented that it took her only a day to master a Level One Martial Art. Level One Martial Arts include the humanly possible ones, like Taekwondo, Muay Thai, etc. Level Two Martial Arts include the middle ground—between human and superhuman levels of strength—like the Azure Flowing Fist, which is focused on hitting every single weak point of a human body. Level Three Martial Arts are only possible for superhumans, like my Renewal Taekwondo. So, if this world were not a supernatural one, that girl would be the most talented martial artist ever born in history.
I don't know about Teacher, but he added weaponry techniques to the martial arts section of the library, saying the art of martial arts is its beauty, killing, and protection simultaneously, so he included the weaponry techniques there.
Now, next and last is the creepiest junior I have: Pandora Paragon. Now that I look at her name, doesn't it rhyme? Oh well, let's focus on that later.
Pandora's natural Stigmata is focused on two things: shadow and fear. That girl can produce shadows that she can control up to 50km. Imagine that: if she mastered it and could teleport to the said shadow, she could also use shadows as a semi-clone. She can use the shadows of others as a weapon, so she is very much dangerous. And in the fear factor of her Stigmata, she is the literal Queen of Fear. I mean, in the early stages, she can induce fear, slightly manipulate fear, and make someone hallucinate from fear.
Imagine her at her full potential. Teacher Adam said she has the chance of being able to induce fear on millions, though that's not that impressive since Dino can do that with his dreaming Stigmata. She has a big chance of being able to control the bad side of emotions if she manages to get out of her box and think outside of it. And she's also crazy talented at assassinations and daggers. I don't know about you, but I'm not going to fight that girl if she manages to become someone as strong as me.
My juniors, as Teacher Adam said, aren't as talented as Lan and me. Lan and I have already reached Peak A-Rank and Mid A-Rank strength, respectively, in a year of training. As much as I want to deny it, Lan and I are crazy talented. If I had to use talent levels, my talent and Lan's are at Level 99, while my juniors are at Level 70.
(Omni POV)
As Nava was walking down the hallway of St. Freya High, doing nothing but thinking about her juniors and teacher, she bumped into a red-haired woman.
"You should see where you're walking, Nava," the red-haired woman said as she helped up the fallen Nava, who had only stumbled because she didn't notice the woman in time.
"Sorry, Miss Himeko, I was thinking of something else." Nava dusted herself off and said in a sorry tone.
"Oh, and what were you thinking, little Nava?" Himeko said teasingly as she put her hands on Nava's shoulder.
"Nothing, Miss Himeko, just my travels," Nava said in a hurried tone as she was slowly getting flustered by Himeko's teasing.
"Thinking of that guy Lan, huh? I heard that you both traveled together and even ate at the same time when you were still at Schicksal." Continuing to tease Nava, Himeko removed her arms, ruffled Nava's hair, and said once more in a teasing tone: "I heard he was handsome. Has my little Nava already fallen in love with someone?"
As she said that, Nava's face was already crimson red as she bolted away to her dorm, embarrassed by what Himeko had said.
Looking at the running Nava, Himeko couldn't help but smile as she walked away. 'Nava is so cute when she's flustered, hahaha,' Himeko thought as she went to her next class.
A perfect story without a tragedy isn't a perfect one. To be a good story, the main character has to have development of her own. To also make it a good one, a story has to express the emotions it wants to convey to the readers.
Perhaps Adam had also thought that far, or perhaps not. I will not know, even if I'm the author of this story. A story has to walk on its own to get the reaction the author wanted.
