It was the last day of the summer break before their final year. The sky was painted coloured smoothly and gorgeous. Li wei thought that it was a sign.
They had gone to buy some snacks together, but this time it was just wei and chen, yiran had run off to meet her cousin.

Her heart thundered as they stood at a riverside, cicadas crying in distance a calm cool breeze under a cherry blossom tree which is very special to wei as it is a memory of her mother.

Chen with a spark in his eyes smile on his face turned towards her "what is it..?"

The world seemed to stop.He froze , eyes unreachable. And for a while he said nothing...The silence stretched . wei wei just want to vanish.
Finally chen looked into her eyes with his eyes full of water that an ocean can hold, he have hold two hands of wei and said with his soft voice "Lets not ruin our friendship....!"
Her chest tightened, but remained smiling. With the pain she have she couldn't speak out but after controlling all her emotions she replied hardly "ofcourse chen"
At that moment of time the world of chen and wei turned upside down all that is left over there in between them is silence and embarrassment. After all this chen asked for Wei's hand for a clam walk to erase the awkward moment and they went walking all the way to Wei's dorm there yiran arrived and wei and yiran got upstairs. Chen got into his dorm. The two people are left in that moment where awkwardness covered everything thing.
When school reopened, things looked the same from the outside. The trio laughed, studied and teased each other in normal way.
But..li wei felt it.The weight of that evening. The way chen answered her. The way her confession sat like a stone between them.
Weeks passed chen moved on from that awkwardness.
On a fine evening on the cherry blossom street wei saw it all that chen and Zhao being an official couple holding their hands having an romantic talk. Seeing all this her heart cracked silently.
But when Zhao pulled wei aside and whispered in a silent night "wei wei, I like him. Do you think it's correct if we.."
Wei interrupts her talk and says with a forceful smile that "of course.!.I'll always support you two whatever it might cost. Yiran you found your love just go for it I think you can't have a good relationship than this just go for it yiran!!!".
That scene have killed her first love and got cut into her heart too deep that she just smiled without any excitement for her besties first love. At that moment she taught of going far away from all this pain and hurt. But wei never showed it out as it's her bestie whose having Wei's first love Wei's first sunshine.
Chen came to wei and hugged her saying "thank you for understanding, and sorry wei wei for all the hurt I gave you. " wei wei pushed herself out of his hug and tapped him and went of.
Wei wei got lost in her thoughts. "What if Zhao gets to know that I proposed him, could we still be the same besties. Why do even love hurts the most even if we had these many problems is it because we loved them "
Wei entered her dorm without changing she jumped on her bed hugging the pillow like it's chen and started crying like never before. She felt all pain and happiness too at a single point of time.
Zhao returned to the dorm with all the blush and charm in her face joining wei on her bed when wei wiped out her tears and act normal like if nothing happened and cheering Zhao for her first love .
The night noticed Wei Wei's weight in her heart the darkness comforted her with the fog.her pillow gave a warmth that no one could give.
The morning routine have changed Zhao Zhao started waking with chen's call , leaving the dorm without even a bye .
Wei wei silently tried to heal but every single time she tried to heal she got even more deeper cuts in her heart.
After all chen and Zhao are enjoying their starting days of being in relationship with all the happiness joy and all the cute drama.
