Sun light entered the room from the floor to ceiling east side windows, the next curtains only dimmed the light ever so slightly as it illuminated the room, the chandelier shone from the light, casting the room in a pink like glow, Vivian stirred on her soft, fluffy bed, and groaned, "It's so early..." She tosses a pillow at the window before getting up putting on her scarf before opening a glass door which had blended with the floor to ceiling windows, she stepped out onto her balcony and looked at the garden beneath her. "I might as well take a walk but... I still feel groggy" She said rubbing her eyes and yawning gently, she went back inside and pulled on a rope, making a bell ring. Anna entered the room, "My lady, what may I assist you with?"
"Anna, draw a bath for me" Vivian said, "and... bring me any letters that could've been addressed to me" She quickly added. "As you wish, milady" Anna came back a bit later with a pile of letters, Vivian sat down on a chair and glanced over each one, * Tea party invites, parents who want me to be their daughters chaperone, ball invitations... hm? what's this?* Vivian looked at the letter again *An invite for a royal ball? This I have to see... "To the esteemed lone ducal daughter of the virelia empire, we hope you grace us with your presence to the debut of his highness crown prince of the virelia empire... blah blah blah... it will be a great honor blah blah blah... on june 4th year 238 of the imperial calender...Dress code: The colour of his highness's eyes." His highness's debut?Why does that sound familiar...? * "My lady, The bath is ready" Anna said, snapping Vivian out of her thoughts.
Vivian entered the tub adjourned with gold and rose petals, still lost in thought, *His highness's debut... think, think think!* She thought clutching her hair, then a memory hit her *Right! that's where our engagement was to be announced! Where Vivian tyranny began! Let's see... it's on 4th june, I have exactly 5 months to annul our engagement, I must see his grace at the earliest to get updates on the northern canyon*
Vivian exited her bath, as her maids helped her get dressed she has an idea flash through her mind, "Anna, prepare for us to go outside, I have something to do" Anna looked slightly taken aback, *milady is... going outside? did the sun rise from the west today?*, "Ofcourse, milady, what may I pack for the outing?" Vivian thought for a moment, "some simple snacks and cash" "as you wish, milaly" Anna replied. Since i'm currently 11, i'm still attending the imperial academy... it's the founding day festival right now so the academy is closed but... there's something big that happens this year, I should be prepared. I still cannot believe the original Vivian chose the sword department even though she is terrible with the sword. She truly loved the crown prince.
