Seeing that no one responded to him, Noah nodded in satisfaction.

He just knew it. How could there be so many coincidences in this world? How could he always run into members of the Black Magic Cult every time he went out?

"Sorry for taking up your time."

Noah said somewhat apologetically, "If you've all got nothing else to do, then we can start fighting."

That kid's insane!

Brain cursed internally. He'd met all kinds of people in his life, but this was the first time he'd encountered someone as unreliable as Noah.

With opposing stances and irreconcilable differences, a battle between the two sides was imminent.

Sawyer, with his spiky mohawk hairstyle, charged at the front. His speed was extremely fast, his figure flickering erratically around Noah and Mystogan. His extreme speed created more than a dozen afterimages that said in unison:

"Are you dizzy yet? Can you keep up with my speed?!"

However, the next moment, the smug Sawyer became terrified. The white-haired young man he'd just mocked suddenly grabbed his neck with precise accuracy.

This caught everyone off guard. Even Jellal, Brain, and the others didn't react. They knew Sawyer's Magic, so how could he be caught so easily?

Noah looked at Sawyer, whose face was red but couldn't break free from his grip. Disdain flashed in his eyes as he slowly but surely increased the pressure in his palm, saying:

"Sawyer, one of Oración Seis, codename Racer. He claims to be the fastest Mage. But in reality, your Magic is Slowing Magic that alters other people's perception of speed."

"Fastest speed? You fake. You don't deserve it."

With his Magic exposed, Sawyer—whose dream was to "run faster than anyone"—was immediately enraged by the humiliation.

But he couldn't get angry.

His pupils dilated, his breathing became difficult, and the pain of suffocation made Sawyer feel as if he saw his grandmother, who'd passed away years ago, waving to him. The scythe of death was being sharpened, ready for his life.

No... my dream hasn't come true yet... I want to keep running forever, running faster than anyone, faster than anything!

On the brink of life and death, Sawyer actually unleashed powerful Magic. Although he still couldn't break free from Noah's hand, he activated the explosive Lacrima he carried close to his body under his racing suit, forcing Noah to release him.

Hoh, he's a ruthless one.

Seeing that Sawyer was willing to disregard his own life, Noah had no choice but to grant his wish.

He stomped on the ground, and a Magic circle with ancient and complex patterns rotated. A sudden surge of black wind swept Sawyer, who had no time to react, into the sky.

Accompanied by an explosion and a scream, a charred human body crashed heavily to the ground. Listening to the faint breathing, Noah knew this was Sawyer's end.

"It seems Slowing Magic can't be used on objects. Brain, how can you be a teacher? You don't even teach him any useful Magic."

Hearing Noah's taunt, Brain felt a chill down his spine. When Noah exposed Sawyer's Magic, he knew that Oración Seis's intelligence had been leaked—otherwise Sawyer wouldn't have been handled so easily.

But for Brain, it was just losing a tool. He waved his hand and ordered the other three to attack Noah.

"Erik, codename Cobra. He uses Poison Dragon Slayer Magic and Sound Magic. He can hear a lot and has a snake fetish."

"Hoteye, an Earth Mage who possesses the so-called All-Seeing Eye that can see through everything. He's willing to do anything for money."

"Angel, the only female Mage among Oración Seis, uses Celestial Spirit Magic..."

While speaking the information he'd gotten from Ultear, Noah swung his Devil Slayer wind-infused fist, smashing it hard at the three. His speed was something Sawyer couldn't compare to.

Celestial Spirit Mage Angel had never witnessed such speed. The stinging black wind made her unable to open her eyes, and she was knocked down with one punch before she could even summon a Celestial Spirit.

Cobra could hear heartbeats through Magic, so he was confident he could dodge Noah's punch. However, knowing it in his mind didn't mean his body could react in time.

When the sandbag-sized fist arrived before his eyes, Cobra realized how big the gap in strength between him and Noah was.

Thump!

That was the sound of a human head making intimate contact with the ground.

Cobra's head was stuck in the small pit created by his own head. Noah could only say he was indeed a Dragon Slayer—he was durable. Even after that, he merely fainted.

With his two companions serving as a buffer, Hoteye finally reacted in time, using Magic to create a thick and sturdy earth wall, hoping to defend himself with it.

Facing Hoteye, who was acting like a turtle, Noah was a bit annoyed. Wouldn't it be better to just come and take a beating obediently?

"Wind Devil's Fist!"

Enveloping his arm with a storm, Noah unhesitatingly punched the turtle shell made of earth. The compressed storm instantly penetrated Hoteye's defense, sending him flying down from the ancient city.

In a matter of ten-odd seconds, three people were taken out with three consecutive punches. Brain watched this scene with cold sweat streaming down his back. He knew that if he went up, he wouldn't fare any better.

And Jellal's injuries hadn't healed, so he definitely couldn't defeat that white-haired young man. Brain chose to wake up the last member of Oración Seis—Midnight, who was always sleepy.

Brain had full confidence in Midnight, his most beloved, whom he'd even adopted as his son. "Midnight, kill both of them. Leave no one alive."

"I understand, Father."

Opening his eyes, Midnight had morning grumpiness, but he couldn't do anything to the respected Brain, so his killing intent was directed toward Noah and Mystogan.

Midnight's Magic is the spatial Reflector Magic. His strength in Oración Seis is second only to the mysterious Master Zero. He loves to sleep and is a dangerous individual.

Since he likes to sleep, then let him sleep.

Mystogan drew his staff and plunged it into the ground. Midnight, whom Brain had placed high hopes on, immediately fell under the Sleep Magic and instantly collapsed into slumber.

After glancing at the unconscious Midnight, Mystogan cast Deep Sleep on him once more, then shifted his gaze to his parallel world counterpart.

Mystogan's real name was also "Jellal," but he didn't want to cause trouble, so he used the alias "Mystogan."

He didn't like trouble, but trouble would come looking for him.

Seeing Mystogan look at him, Jellal also stepped forward. He clearly remembered this Mage named Mystogan. In terms of annoyance, he was only second to that white-haired guy.

During the final battle with Erza on the island where the Tower of Heaven was located, Jellal clearly remembered being ambushed by this person with mental Magic, which caused severe mental damage. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been defeated by Erza in the end.

Now, Jellal wanted to get his revenge.

Noah had intended to deal with Brain, but seeing the two "Jellals" from parallel worlds about to compete, he couldn't help but stop to watch.
