Alexander
"Uhm..are you okay?" I mumbled while looking at her holding onto a wall and holding her head.
"I need to use the bathroom." Her voice sent chills down my spine, something feels wrong again and I don't like it.
"There's a bathroom in the kitchen. Do you want me to-" I got cut off as she ran to the kitchen, and I slowly followed her.
"Agatha? If you need help, I'm here at the door." I held the door wall and emphasized my words, yet I heard nothing inside.
I looked at the doorknob, but I couldn't build enough courage to open it, I closed my eyes in frustration and took deep breaths.
"Agatha?"
The door suddenly opened, and she seemed to be back to normal, her face was expressionless as usual.
"You should clean your wound." She brushed past me without looking.
I looked at my wound that had a minor slice thanks to her sharp scissors that she took out. I went inside the bathroom and opened the faucet to wash my arm.
Why was she acting like that? Did I do something wrong?
I wiped a dry towel on my wound, and I squatted to open the cabinet under the sink. I grabbed a small bandage for small cuts, and I removed the paper attached to its sticky part, I then covered my cut with the bandage and pressed it firmly to make it stick to my skin.
I quickly left the bathroom and I saw her sitting at the dining table looking bored which made me gulp nervously.
A small idea suddenly popped into my head to test her, and I thought about it.
I gathered my courage to ask her something bold that I wouldn't even do if someone were here.
"Uhm..Agatha? I usually prefer to do things in my room, if you don't mind…" I felt my face flush with embarrassment, and I fidgeted with the hem of my shirt to distract myself.
I felt her stare at me, like she could see my soul or body; it makes me feel so uncomfortably seen, and it's making things more awkward.
"Sure." My breath stopped at her response, and I felt my face blush. I began to walk up the stairs while she followed me from behind.
We reached the first door on the second floor, and I opened it only for my tidy room to be the scenery in my eyes. Good thing I always clean my room, so I don't have to worry.
She brushed past me, and our arms slightly made contact which made me blush even more.
I'm losing my mind over her…
I examined her as she sat on my bed while taking papers from her bag with a ballpen, her posture is always perfect, so I don't even see her shoulder slumped in school.
I cleared my throat and gulped before sitting beside her with enough distance to respect her personal space, and I took my laptop resting on my bedside table.
I began to focus on getting ideas for the DIY telescope, good thing it's due next month in February, so we have enough time since it's the beginning of January right now.
"We should work on the explanation first before doing a telescope, so we don't have to rethink important things." I heard her mumbling while she continued to write notes from her phone.
.....
A yawn escaped my mouth as I put down my laptop and stretched my arm. I looked at the clock, and my eyes widened.
"Uhm..Agatha? It's already 12:32am…" Her sharp gaze bore onto me which sent a shiver down my spine, and I looked away.
"I should go." I stared at her as she started packing her things that were scattered on my bed, and I looked outside the wall.
I sighed at the sight outside, there was barely any light in the street, and I didn't want her to walk alone.
"Agatha…you should stay here..it's too dangerous for you to walk alone." I squeezed my eyes shut and waited for her rejection.
I heard her sigh so I opened my eyes and her eyes were surprisingly soft, not like her usual sharp look that she gives to everyone.
"Where can I sleep?" My eyes widen at her question and I feel my face turning tomato again.
"You can sleep in my bed.. I'll just put a pillow in the middle to divide us." I stuttered and began to remove my papers from the bed.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I nodded before she walked away from my room.
I let out a shaky breath as I imagine her sleeping in the same bed with me, in my own bed. I covered my face with my hands before fixing my bed and putting a pillow in the middle to divide.
I closed the main lights in the ceiling and turned on the lamp on my table for a dim light, before lying on the other side of my bed.
My eyes landed on the door as she entered my room, and I suddenly felt something was off, but I ignored it.
"Alexander.." She slowly walked towards the bed and my heart began to beat like crazy.
"You okay Agatha?" I muttered, and I gripped the blanket out of my nervousness about her odd actions she's making.
"I'm hungry." Her words made my heart rate go up, and I gulped down my saliva.
"Uhm..we can order food if you want." I gasped as she crawled slowly to the bed towards me and I backed down until my back reached the headboard.
"I'm sorry, Alexander, but your blood smells really good." My face turned pale at her haunting words, and I froze.
She slowly sat on my lap, yet I couldn't do anything about it; like my hands wouldn't even move from how scary she sounded.
"Can you let me drink your blood, Alexander?" I gulped at her whisper.
She's...a vampire..
"Please..stop joking around, this is not funny, Agatha." I looked at her with pleading eyes, but she only cupped my cheeks.
My breath stopped as I looked at her face, the lamp on my table made me see her fangs and her eyes turning jet black. I felt weaker when she caressed her thumbs on my cheeks.
A million thoughts dived into my mind, yet curiosity took the best of me and I opened my mouth.
"Am I gonna die? Are you gonna kill me?" My voice broke as I sobbed, terrified for my life.
Her face went closer to my ears, and her hot breath made me let out a whimper.
"You're kind.. I'll be gentle…I won't kill you." Her reassuring words combined with her thumbs caressing my cheeks made my body relax a little, but my heart beat went up.
"Okay…just..once.." I squeezed my eyes shut.
