Both Thor and Rocks, the two warriors who possessed the most familiarity with the terrifying capabilities of Imu, stood side by side. They had taken the initiative to face the sovereign of the world together as a duo.
Meanwhile, the other heavy hitters handled the chaotic melee against the transformed Five Elders and the remaining Holy Knights.
Due to the absurd, monstrous strength possessed by Gol D. Roger, Monkey D. Garp, and Edward Newgate, they found themselves able to evenly match the four transformed Elders by themselves.
At the same time, the young monsters, Kaido and Charlotte Linlin, took charge and faced the remaining desperate members of the Holy Knights.
"Rocks, be careful, this monster has a strange ability, he could summon a lot of monsters just based on the book that's floating beside him," Thor then warned gravely towards Rocks. Hearing this, Rocks then grinned maniacally, unsheathed his sword, and immediately proceeded to cover the blade with a thick layer of dark armament haki.
"Anyone, these monsters have regeneration abilities, mind on how you use your haki, they are truly not immortals," Thor then yelled at the top of his lungs.
He made sure to inform the others of their enemies' specific abilities to ensure that his allies were not suddenly caught off guard by the sudden and unnatural healing factors displayed by the Elders and Holy Knights.
Thor's loud warning made the faces of the Holy Knights turn sour with dread. They all vividly remembered the horrific sight of how their fellow members got butchered mercilessly by the Prince of Elbaph just moments prior.
Now, with three of the newly arrived people possessing strength on the same level as the giant, or perhaps even stronger than him, the Holy Knights realized that their death could almost become a certain inevitability.
Imu, seemingly annoyed by the chatter, summoned a pitch black double barreled flintlock pistol from the void. He aimed and fired upon Thor.
Thor had been hit squarely by the projectile, but the part of his body that got hit instantly transformed into solid ice to negate the damage.
Thor then countered with a massive fist covered with both elemental ice and hardening haki, while Rocks, who was positioned on his side, also did the same with his sword.
Rocks saw and felt exactly how Thor covered his fist with Haki. The sensation made Rocks think of the words Thor had just said regarding the nature of their enemy.
Those words suddenly resonated with Rocks, and he quickly tried to mimic the specific technique that Thor had just executed.
"Pandemonium!" Rocks then swing towards Imu's figure with his sword.
"Ymir's Fist!" Thor attacked Imu as well with a devastating punch.
The combined attack of the two titans made Imu's physical figure explode from within. This was caused by the sheer intensity of the advanced haki that they had input into his body with their own internal destruction method of attacking.
Thor then summoned his axe once again to follow up. He tried to cut towards the regenerating Imu but was suddenly attacked by a swirling purple bubble. Thor recognized the threat and immediately froze the projectile in midair.
When the frozen bubble fell on the ground due to the loss of momentum, it exploded violently, revealing that it was the potent poison bubble that Saint Saturn could use.
It appeared that Imu was able to utilize the abilities of his subordinate because he possessed the body of Saint Saturn.
"I've seen you before, King of the Bilge Rats! Came here to kill me in person?" Rocks then said as he stabbed his sword on the ground, leaning on it arrogantly, while Thor had to get ready for the next clash.
"Thou art the one, Davy Jones, " Imu replied towards Rocks, with an emotion of anger, as if seeing Rocks as someone that he had personally known before.
"Davy? Haven't even met the guy. That being said, I believe promises are meant to be kept." Rocks said sarcastically, clarifying Imu's statement, as Rocks knew the history of his own family, as well as knowing who Joyboy is.
"Precisely why your wretched ilk must be expunged from the annals of history. Mu's world remains incomplete." Imu then got angry, his voice distorting as he answered towards Rocks.
His expression changed from his typical confident grin to an extremely serious one as he realized the age of his opponent.
"Not yours to begin with," Thor and Rocks both yelled towards Imu, who became even angrier and raised one of its spider legs.
Imu attacked the two once again with a flurry of shadows. Both of them fought back against Imu with everything they had. However, even with their conqueror's haki coating their limbs, Imu could not even be significantly harmed by blunt force.
But as Thor kept hitting Imu, the more Thor could see a pattern emerging. He noticed that Imu is starting to actively block, or even dodge his very own strikes with the hammer, while also confidently tanking whatever Thor had attacked that is not imbued with his weapon's lethality.
"I heard that when someone awakened the Ope-Ope no mi, it could give it's user the ability to perform the immortality surgery, if you had personally known who Joyboy and Davy Jones, so much so that you have a deep anger just because their names are being told, It would be safe to assume that you had been the receiving end of this surgery" Thor said calmly.
He spoke while simultaneously blocking the strike of a shadow trident that Imu had summoned, while Rocks is also busy cutting the sharp legs of the spiders that are trying to pierce his body.
"It would also be safe to assume that you had eaten a devil fruit yourself, which allowed you to make your subordinates immortal, possibly extending your immortality to them, but since it's the effect of Devil Fruit powers, it could be overruled by a great enough haki, which allowed me to kill your other subordinates earlier," Thor added his hypothesis to the mix.
This deduction made Imu stare at Thor with an almost look of disbelief, letting the silence brew in the air between them. Meanwhile, Rocks had just been listening intently to the words of Thor while also fighting back against the shadows on his own.
"Seeing your silence, especially on how you seem to love talking about yourself, and your greatness, I'm gonna assume what I just said has some truth to it. But I'm sure that the others would figure it out as well, they are strong, they know what they are doing, maybe we could once and for all wipe out every capable soldier of the World Government," Thor added to his statement with a smirk.
He looked back over his shoulder and saw that the others were handling the 5 Elders and the Holy Knights without much problem. It was clear that the more they fought, the more Roger, Newgate, Garp, Linlin, and Kaido figured out how to permanently injure the regenerative monsters.
"Vohahahahaha, smart guy, right? This guy could find connections between anything; just give him the evidence, and you just handed everything; it's like, you're an open book in front of him." Rocks then laughed loudly as he mocked the way Imu handled things.
But Thor then felt something brewing inside of Imu, a sensation of energy that seemed to be boiling over, and in response, Thor released a massive frozen breath to prepare for impact.
