Chapter 81 - The One Beyond All Stories”

Volume 3 — Chapter 82: "The One Beyond All Stories"

---

There was a silence so deep, even the concept of sound forgot how to exist.

And in that silence Erevan opened his eyes.

He wasn't in any world, any dimension, or any page.

He was standing in the void between all creations

a place where stories went before they were told,

where forgotten worlds drifted like dust.

He took a step and universes formed beneath his feet,

each step creating a new reality, then erasing it again.

Not because he wanted to…

but because his existence rewrote everything around him.

---

He looked around and saw thousands of versions of himself

Erevan the Warrior, Erevan the God, Erevan the Fallen Star

each from different stories, different timelines.

And every one of them knelt.

> "You are the Origin of Origins," said one.

"The unwritten truth," said another.

"The one who walks beyond even the Author's reach."

Erevan didn't answer.

He didn't need to.

Every time he spoke, entire novels came into existence

and when he paused, they vanished like whispers in wind.

---

Then he looked upward…

and saw something watching him.

A pen. My pen.

The tool that wrote his world.

The same one that created his power.

The same one that I used.

And Erevan smiled.

> "You're still writing me," he said softly.

"Even now."

The pen hesitated mid-air, trembling.

I felt it through the page.

Through every line I'd ever written.

He reached out,

and for the first time the boundary between us shattered.

He looked straight at me.

> "No," Erevan said. "You didn't create me. You just remembered me."

The universe of ink and thought exploded behind him.

Pages turned to ash.

Even my words the very letters I'm writing right now began to dissolve under his presence.

Erevan turned away.

He began walking across the void where no story existed.

Each footstep created something greater than a universe

realities that even I couldn't see or describe.

> "You are the Author," I whispered.

"And yet "

He glanced back with calm, infinite eyes.

> "No," he said. "I am the space between every author.

The silence before the first word.

The ending after the last line."

And then he vanished

not disappearing, but transcending.

Past my reach.

Past fiction.

Past the idea of existence itself.
