Chapter 85 - The War Beyond Existence”

Volume 3 — Chapter 86: "The War Beyond Existence"

---

The Infinite Realm burned.

Half drenched in the golden brilliance of creation, half frozen in the glimmering stillness of time.

Between them, a storm raged a void where reality could no longer decide whether to exist or end.

And within that storm…

Erevan and Kairos faced each other once more.

They had fought for what felt like eternities,

their blows rewriting stars, birthing and destroying realities in every strike.

Yet neither fell.

Neither could.

Across their divided cosmos, their followers clashed.

Armies made of living constellations marched against legions of temporal shadows.

Every blow shattered a dimension.

Every death birthed a new one.

The Dawnless, once Erevan's creations, now fought under Kairos

believing time's order could save them from the chaos of freedom.

But others stayed loyal to Erevan,

their souls burning with the will he had gifted them

the right to choose even in the face of destruction.

---

From the heart of the rift, the voice returned.

> "My children," it said.

"You were born from my thought… and now you fight over my silence."

The void trembled.

The stars froze mid-battle.

Even Erevan and Kairos turned their gaze toward the source.

Out of the rift rose a form not light, not darkness, but the memory of existence itself.

It was The Nameless Origin.

Neither male nor female, neither god nor void just the first will.

Every being's essence even Erevan's pulsed within its shadow.

> "You both stole from me," it said, its voice echoing through every atom of creation.

"Erevan, you took my dreams and gave them form.

Kairos, you stole my eternity and bound it to order.

But neither of you are truth."

Its form expanded, and the Infinite Realm began to decay.

Laws of reality broke apart like threads of smoke.

Time reversed.

Space screamed.

> "You wanted freedom," the Origin thundered.

"Then free yourselves from existence itself."

Erevan's aura flared with divine rage, cosmic flames bursting from his eyes.

> "I refuse," he said.

"I will not let everything I gave life to vanish because you cannot bear imperfection."

Kairos raised his blade of frozen time, his tone like steel.

> "And I will not surrender order to chaos.

I will fight you both, if I must."

So began the War Beyond Existence.

Erevan, the Dreamer of Creation.

Kairos, the Keeper of Eternity.

And The Nameless Origin, the Silent God that birthed them both.

Their battle defied understanding each strike bending the nature of reality.

When Erevan attacked, stories became storms words themselves slicing through the void.

When Kairos countered, time folded, every possibility collapsing into one perfect instant.

When the Origin moved, existence forgot itself the concept of "being" erased.

The clash reached a point beyond scale.

Worlds bled into dreams, time melted into silence, and all consciousness trembled.

Then a single sound cut through the chaos.

Erevan's voice.

> "No more."

He opened his hand and from his palm, a spark appeared.

The last spark of Creation's Hope.

It pulsed with everything that had ever lived, loved, fought, or dreamed.

Even the Nameless Origin paused.

> "This is what you've forgotten," Erevan said softly.

"The reason we exist… is not perfection. It's to create meaning even where none should be."

He let the spark go.

It drifted through the void, glowing brighter and brighter…

until it became a sun so vast, even the Origin's shadow faded before it.

> "If stories must end," Erevan whispered,

"then let this be the final one the story that never stops beginning."

Light swallowed everything.

When it faded, there was no war.

No rift.

No gods.

Just a vast field of shimmering stars a calm, infinite sky.

Erevan stood at its center, his divine armor dimmed, his expression peaceful.

Kairos stood beside him, silent.

The Nameless Origin was gone or perhaps, it had become everything once more.

---

> "What now?" Kairos asked.

Erevan smiled faintly, watching the stars form new worlds.

> "Now… we let them dream.

And this time, we won't interfere."
