Huai Hai woke up to the sounr of an alarm beeping. The sound was quite annoying.
All Huai Hai wanted to do was turn it off,but he didn't how. He slowly reached out his arm.
Searched for the alarm and knocked it to the ground. But the beeping did not stop. He finally got up and started searching for the alarm. He found it under the bed along with a diary. After countless struggles,Huai Hai managed to turn off the alarm.
Huai Hai sighed at finally being able to turn off the alarm. His eyes then turned to the dairy which had the words 'Yuki's Dairy'
written on it. Huai Hai couldn't help getting curious about what was written in it.
Then a voice more annoying than the alarm sounded.
[Ding!. New mission alert!.
Mission:Skip breakfast and do 1000 squats
Warning: Failure to complete the mission will result in immediate death!]
[Side mission: Visit an E rank dungeon!

Huai Hai frowned slightly. This body was already so thin, shouldn't he be eating more instead?. His legs had healed a lot after doing the push-ups,but the pain was still there. Doing squats will definitely hurt.
"Might as well get on with" Huai Hai then placed the dairy in front of him and opened to the middle page and started doing the squats. He was reading the dairy as he did his squats.

Dungeons still exist only there are gates instead of portals. Hunters are just like adventurers only they don't explore and take everything for themselves but they defeat the monsters and get paid!]
"I guess the world has changed a lot" Back in his time there were portals. When an adventurer walks through the portal,they appear in a different world. And can't leave until they have defeated the monsters.
Any precious thing is for themselves. Huai Hai continued the squats and looked at the dairy. Opening it to the very last page,he could read the rest later.

"I want to commit suicide by making it look an accident. I don't want dad to worry,but I have nothing left to live for anymore. I only wished I could have lived up to his expectations,and Mayu's.
Maybe even went on a date with Lisa. Oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter now. I'm sorry Alex,dad and Lisa you're all so precious to me and of course Mayu"

Huai Hai felt a sudden loss of appetite and felt quite down. "Is this sadness?". Huai Hai asked himself. Long Fei never thought him anything about emotions expect to keep calm. Huai Hai didn't even have the strength to read the diary anymore.
Little by little he finished his squats. Just then a cellphone began ringing. Huai Hai of course struggled before managing to answer
"Hello?"
"Hey buddy!. It's me Alex!. I heard you lost your memories,so you probably don't remember me!. But I wanted to invite you!, we're going with some low ranking hunters to visit an E rank dungeon"
"Sure I'll be there". Replied Huai Hai. Well looks like the side mission has just began.
[Ding!. Mission complete!
