Huai Hai walked to the parking lot without getting lost. Lisa took a different path to who knows where,so he had to walk himself back. Of course he wasn't a legendary adventurer for no reason.
In just a short amount of time he had managed to memorize some paths and where they lead to. Mayu was leaning against the car, scrolling through her phone by the time he got there.
"I've being waiting forever ,come on,get in"
Huai Hai got in the back seat,while Mayu sat in the front. They drove in silence until they arrived. But that time the food was already cold. Mayu put it in the oven to heat it up.
"I'm going to take a shower,watch the food for me". She announced.
Huai Hai made sure the food didn't get burned and even ate but Mayu was still in the showers. She'd been in there for thirty whole minutes. Huai Hai saw that it was taking forever so he headed to his room.
When he opened the door he found Saki, holding a pile of books that nearly touched the celling.
"Good evening host!" She said in her usual cheerful voice.
She placed the books down and the entire room shook.
"What are the books for Saki?" Huai Hai asked.
"Since the host doesn't have Yuki's memories!,he has to learn all these book!. This is everything Yuki learned!".
Huai Hai walked past the books the books and took the red hoodie from his bed. He put it on.
"Host!,we found that from a haunted room!".
Haui Hai looked at the hoodie, there was nothing wrong with it and if he remembers clearly,the person the hoodie was for him.
"I don't see anything wrong it... I'm going out for a walk,want to join me?".
Saki agreed instantly
"Yes!".
Huai Hai left a note on the table for Mayu when she finally decideds to come out of the shower. The evening was slightly chilly,with winter approaching the weather was getting cold. Huai Hai and Saki walked in silence for a few minutes, before Huai Hai stopped and asked.
"Saki...Why do you still stick around?. I don't have a clear goal anymore, everything I thought I believed in was a lie. I'm not sure that I even want my power anymore. The gods haven't hurt anyone,they help them. But me?,everywhere I go disaster follows".
Huai Hai remembered all the times when he stayed at different kingdoms. They fell so easily,whether by war or a natural disaster.
"You're wrong. They were the ones who brought diaster where ever you went. They followed you. The gods don't want to help humanity,they want to distroy it".
