"Hulk! Where are you!? Show yourself, you coward!"
Blonsky's voice thundered through the streets, warped and monstrous, carrying nothing but pure inhumanity.
After forcing Mr. Blue to inject Hulk's blood directly into his veins, Blonsky had crossed a point of no return. His body twisted, cracked, and mutated until it rebirthed itself into a gigantic, terrifying form.
He had become the Abomination.
But unlike the Hulk—whose childish, impulsive mind channeled fury into blind brutality—this creature still had a disturbing glimmer of awareness behind its monstrous eyes.
He knew exactly what he was doing, knew exactly who he was, and knew exactly what he wanted.
And that made him even more dangerous.
His consciousness remained intact, chained to the madness of his overwhelming power.
With a single flick of his wrist, the Abomination ripped a parked car off the ground and hurled it through the air with humiliating ease.
BOOOOOOM!
The vehicle flew like it weighed nothing, slamming into the side of a building and exploding in a brutal rain of concrete and metal. The impact tore a massive hole in the façade, sending an avalanche of debris crashing onto dozens of unsuspecting civilians.
Screams filled the air.
Chaos swallowed Broadway.
Unlike the relatively isolated Grayburn Academy—where the battle with the Hulk had started—this destruction was unfolding in one of New York City's busiest areas.
His appearance there was nothing less than a national catastrophe broadcast live.
The news spread across the planet within minutes, and even if someone tried to cover it up… it was already too late. The footage was everywhere.
In the Pentagon, chaos ignited like fire on dry hay.
Phones rang nonstop. Reports poured in. Accusations flew from every direction.
And by political instinct, everyone sought a scapegoat.
The obvious target: General Thaddeus Ross.
After all, the gigantic monster was screaming "HULK!" over and over, tying the disaster directly to Ross's manhunt.
Ross himself froze when he saw the footage.
Even as a military man to the core, he could read political reality better than most: his career and reputation were completely ruined.
He acted quickly, deploying every troop that had originally been assigned to capture the Hulk.
The result was… catastrophic.
Ross's elite forces were crushed like insects.
A one-sided massacre.
When the dust settled, Ross collapsed onto his desk. He knew there was nothing left he could do.
But there was someone who remained calm.
Nick Fury.
To him, this tragedy only reinforced what he already believed:
The world needed organized superheroes.
It needed the Avengers.
And at that moment, the first piece of that future descended from the sky with a metallic crash.
THUD!
Iron Man landed hard, aiming directly at the monster.
"You're even uglier in person."
Tony Stark raised his arm, aiming the repulsor cannon straight at the Abomination's skull, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
The creature snarled, offended by the audacity.
"Iron Man?" the Abomination growled, his deep voice shaking the ground. "You think you can act tough just because you hide in a tin can? You know nothing about power."
Inside the armor, JARVIS projected every available reading onto Tony's HUD.
Tony whistled.
"So… what exactly were you supposed to be? A knockoff Hulk? If I check your back, will I find a 'Made in China' sticker?"
It was like throwing gasoline on a wildfire.
"RAAAAAARGH!"
He slammed his fists into the ground with such force that the asphalt cracked in deep fissures, launching over a dozen cars into the air before they crashed down like urban meteors.
Then, with a colossal leap, the monster charged at Tony.
But Tony Stark wasn't exactly the type to provoke without being prepared.
BOOOOM!
A devastating pulse shot from the armor's left palm, hitting the Abomination square in the chest and hurling him backward.
"That's your power? Compared to the Hulk, you're weak and ugly. At least the Hulk wears pants. You don't even bother with underwear… what an unpleasant sight."
If anything could infuriate the Abomination even further… it was being compared to the Hulk.
His mental stability shattered. He forgot about the Hulk. Forgot everything.
Only one obsession remained:
Crush Iron Man.
The fight was broadcast live across the world, and everyone watched in stunned silence as Tony fought back.
But even with all his weapons, reality became painfully clear:
The Abomination was a living tank.
No missile could completely put him down. No explosion left deep wounds. No strike diminished his rage.
And Tony Stark began to pay the price for his sharp tongue.
His armor was being ripped apart piece by piece.
Viewers worldwide held their breath.
Tony was falling behind.
His suit was being destroyed.
Luckily for him, help wouldn't take long to arrive—in the form of a spider-powered woman and a group of mutants.
(End of chapter)
A/N: Personally, I hadn't planned to write this chapter, but I did it to clear my conscience. Unfortunately, I don't intend to write their full fight against the Abomination, so be satisfied with this hahahaha.
