Noah shook his head firmly. "Not at all. You need protection, Jossy. And this is the safest option. You can consider it. You've been through enough. You shouldn't have to worry about him tracking you down. And, if it helps, the house is empty while my parents are traveling. It's just the housekeeper at home for now. You won't be imposing on anyone. Hazel can tag along too."
Jossy felt a wave of relief, though filled with guilt. She wasn't sure how long it would take her to trust that she was truly out of Damien's reach. But Noah's presence, calm, and help gave her a bit of comfort.
She nodded slowly. "Okay. I''ll stay there."
Noah reached out and gently squeezed her hand. "Good. You rest now. I'll make all the arrangements. No one's going to touch you while you're there."

Damien kept replaying the footage of Noah exiting the penthouse with Jossy in his arms. He knew they left the building together, but where could they have gone. His home? He knew where the Lennox Penthouse was. But he needed to be sure before he went there himself to pick her.
Still frustrated, he thought of an idea. He picked up his phone and called the penthouse management, his voice sharp. "My wife is missing since last night. I need access to all surveillance of the private garage and of the driveway. Keep this information confidential."
