Ayane said with a nostalgic smile towards Kakashi.
"Hey, Kakashi, is she your acquaintance?"
Obito felt Ayane was familiar, but couldn't immediately recall where he had seen her before.
From the way she spoke, she seemed quite familiar with Kakashi.
"Are you a fool?"
Kakashi's forehead broke out in a cold sweat.
"Don't call me a fool!"
Obito glared at Kakashi in dissatisfaction.
"Listen, I don't have time to explain to you now, quickly go get Teacher Minato over here, this isn't someone we can handle!"
Obito saw Kakashi's hand holding the knife trembling with both fear and nervousness, so Obito froze for a moment.
It was the first time he'd seen Kakashi showing such fear towards an enemy.

So, Obito grasped the kunai firmly, rushing towards Ayane without hesitation.

Not trembling from anger or fear, but from his own incompetence.
The more he wanted to protect his companions, the more he realized his limited capabilities.
Emptiness, frustration, and the loss of confidence in his own strength filled his mind, then reflected in his eyes.
Obito felt something awakening deep inside his eyes.
A fiery, blazing power gathering in his eyes.
The chakra inside him also spread like flames, allowing Obito to clearly feel the sudden influx of a massive amount of chakra within his body.
