Hakushi sighed.
"In that case, why does Teacher Hakushi still want Kakashi to stay in Konoha? Wouldn't it be better to bring him to the Land of Demons to train?"
Lin didn't really understand this point.
"Because of determination. It's not that I don't want to take him away; staying in Konoha is a choice he made himself." Hakushi paused and continued, "If he can't get past this, he will never forgive himself his whole life and won't be able to free himself from the shackles of the past."
"It seems that the incident of Jonin Sakumo's suicide hit him very hard."
"Of course. Watching his father die before his eyes— even I can't comprehend how heavy the impact of that event must have been on Kakashi at the time. It was only then that he became self-destructive. The only thing sustaining him to this day is just that bit of resentment accumulated in his heart."
Lin nodded, not knowing whether she understood or not.
"Indeed, there are too many things in this world that make people regret. Minato-sensei as well, I didn't expect him to pass away suddenly. It's now difficult for me to go to Konoha to pay respects to him and Kushina-senpai."
Lin said with a tone of regret.
"There will be a chance, and it won't be too far off. But, do you not resent me, Lin?"
Hakushi asked in return.
Lin was once Minato's student. Although Minato didn't die by Hakushi's hands this time, fundamentally, there was a connection to him.

Lin focused on her research as she answered Hakushi's question.
For her, Konoha was just a special part of her memories.

Hakushi explained to Lin.

Previously, there was never a precedent for a Jinchuriki becoming one of the Five Kage.
Jinchuriki had always been considered symbols of the Ninja Village's military might, but due to their overly powerful and unstable nature, they had long been ostracized and monitored.
For Yagura to become one of the Five Kage, as a Jinchuriki, is groundbreaking, to say the least.

"Even so, it still seems a little crazy. But, even if it's true, would he be willing to share the experience of a Perfect Jinchuriki controlling the Tailed Beast with us?"
