Chapter 417 - Chapter 391: Magic Academy Ramaison

"Whew... sigh—"

After taking care of some trivial matters, Tenjo Hikari arrived at the Knight Zone, where Gaia found him before Tenjo Hikari's teleportation. Gaia stated it had trained the next generation of "Knight Lord" and hoped that Tenjo Hikari could observe their duel later for reassurance.

Tenjo Hikari naturally would not refuse and promised to watch the duel when he returned.

Then, Tenjo Hikari returned to his workshop.

After two months of construction, the facilities within the workshop for spirits were nearly completed. With alliance army spirits present, thanks to their building skill, they have established a small city for spirits on the moon of the Cosmos. Next, they applied to Tenjo Hikari, asking if they should open more permissions to contact other spirits through this place.

Generally speaking, Tenjo Hikari didn't mind.

However, the core part of the Great Cosmic Workshop is too important. Since the previous inhabitants of the workshop were either partners of Tenjo Hikari or rescued pitiful spirits, there wasn't much protection in place.

If one were to communicate with other spirits, preparation for safety measures would be unavoidable. This isn't about mistrusting spirits; it's necessary precautions.

So for now, this matter cannot be carried out.

Tenjo Hikari found a place for Mud Dragon King, an ancient spirit who preferred not to move much. So giving it a decent spot to settle down made it quite happy.

But it regretted a bit: "If I had known about your artificial dimension, Tenjo, I would have tricked the younglings of the tribe over here."

The old spirit didn't hold back; it soon claimed the asteroid found by Tenjo Hikari as its home, even uttering some dangerous words.

"Haha, if you want, you can spare some time to trick some over," Tierra coaxed from the side.

In the workshop, Tenjo Hikari conducted several experiments, attempting to extract Hex-Sealed creatures from Chaos Phantasm. When attempts failed, he researched the progress of the items in his possession.

After the Fusion Dragon was completed, the only card remaining with a loading bar in Tenjo Hikari's hands was The Claw of Hermos. Before, because Tenjo Hikari had only dueled Dinosaur Lyuzaki and Insector Haga, the Legendary Duelists, The Claw of Hermos saw no progress.

It wasn't until dueling Saiou under the control of Wave of Light that it provided abundant resources and energy, bringing The Claw of Hermos to a completion of half its status.

This left Tenjo Hikari quite pleased.

After all, using conventional means to create Legendary Dragons proved rather difficult.

After dealing with these matters, Tenjo Hikari dug into his old cards and pulled out the pass that the Spellbook Magician once gave him a long time ago.

Currently, Tenjo Hikari's research was quite smooth as he had already helped Flame Swordsman evolve earlier, extracting a "Fighting Flame Dragon" for it. Thus, his recent failures might be due to incorrect power or materials.

So after some thought, Tenjo Hikari decided to "start fresh."

That would involve going to the Grand Spellbook Tower first, then the Frightfur Sanctuary, and finally try out the DT Dimension.

Kind of progressing from lower to higher danger levels.

Besides, he had already collected 8 stamps of different star levels; participation in the final was assured. He could visit those two places today, preparing fully by next month before attempting DT Dimension.

After all, this was that DT Dimension.

Nonetheless, if he went there, he could even search for relatives or friends of Crystal, which would be beneficial.

All he hoped was not to land amidst a bunch of Shaddolls blocking him.

Once fully prepared, Tenjo Hikari gathered all his items and slowly stood before the Teleportation Gate.

As the Dimension Gate's light flickered, Tenjo Hikari's body slowly dissipated.

Moments later, Tenjo Hikari's figure reemerged, but the surroundings had completely transformed.

Directly facing him was a gigantic tower-like building, nearby, mages were engrossed with books—some strolling, others flying through the sky while reading.

A setting similar to the Secret Village of the Spellcasters but more bustling and grander than that.

Most importantly, mages in the Secret Village weren't so diligent; although everyone was busy, many mages were simply idling.

But here, it was different.

Everywhere, Spellcaster-Type Spirits were fervently perusing Spellbooks, even some young Spellcaster-Type Spirits were learning.

"Wow—so this is the legendary Grand Spellbook Tower Ramaison? How magnificent!!" Sometime during, the Alchemist surfaced beside Tenjo Hikari, shielding his eyes to gaze around.

"You actually know about the Grand Spellbook Tower?" Tierra asked curiously.

The Alchemist has been with Tenjo Hikari the longest as a "knowledge-type spirit," yet usually portrays as a pure Gold enthusiast without much concern for other matters.

"Of course, Your Highness Tierra!" Accompanied by Tierra's inquiry, a Golden Demon full of eyes across its body appeared beside them, arms crossed, addressing her, "Your Highness Tierra, the Grand Spellbook Tower is a sanctuary of knowledge for spirits across all dimensions, and any spirit interested in research and learning might have heard of it."

Golden-Eyes Idol hadn't joined Tenjo Hikari on outings for a long time, but hearing they were headed to the Grand Spellbook Tower, it excitedly danced around, volunteering to join.

"Oh? That impressive?" Tierra was a bit surprised.

"The Grand Spellbook Tower is a mutual platform established by Lord Crowley for mages, possessing the most comprehensive knowledge and books across dimensions, garnering recognition from many peers…"

As they discussed, a mage cloaked in blue robes smilingly interjected.

It was Spellbook Magician of Prophecy, and the permission letter from Secret Village of the Spellcasters before was issued by it to Tenjo Hikari.

Although it spoke according to Tenjo Hikari's impression, it wasn't entirely the same.

While Grand Spellbook Tower undoubtedly relates to Ah Lai, card images suggest Ah Lai transformed into a living library upon going berserk, forming the core of the Grand Spellbook Tower. Thus, from this perspective, perhaps Ah Lai was indeed the founder, but certainly not the builder.

Before Tenjo Hikari's traversal, Yu-Gi-Oh card image comics featuring Alester, Endymion, Sanderion had already started serialization for quite a while, so Tenjo Hikari somewhat understood their relationships.

In original Yu-Gi-Oh enthusiasts' speculations, the Grand Spellbook Tower had captured and turned Ah Lai into a living book, while Endymion waged war to reclaim Ah Lai. The specifics, however, remained unknown to Tenjo Hikari before crossing over.

Upon arriving in this dimension, he didn't know whether Great Sage Soroya was dead or how he died.

Nevertheless, spirits are not original beings; spirits pursue card evolution.

Thus, Tenjo Hikari observed that those learning successfully from the books received wasn't magic, but "Spell Cards."

For instance, the mage beside him joyously exclaimed, having learned "Thunder Strike."

That is quite impressive.

"Gentlemen, follow me, please." Before entering this dimension, Tenjo Hikari had taken time to decipher the coordinates of the Grand Spellbook Tower from the Emerald Book and managed to contact Batel, who had awaited here for quite some time.

"Can we borrow books here!?" Wanrong excitedly asked, while beside him, Golden-Eyes Idol continuously nodded with enthusiasm.

"Of course, you can simply apply at the first-floor lobby, but first-time visitors might not be permitted to take books out for reading. Reading can only be done within the tower."

The scribe responded to the two spirits while reviewing his book, checking today's schedule, occasionally adjusting his hat: "Ah, found it—Excuse me, Lord Tenjo."

"Hmm."

"What would you like to challenge first? Is it Invoked or Great Sage, or Endymion and Magic Workshop's envoy?"

Quite a few choices.

Judging by this, it seemed the Grand Spellbook Tower had collaborations with other places, and passing tests allowed access to those dimensions as well.

Moreover...

There actually are Great Sages here.
