Chapter 534 - Chapter 458: Remarkable Generosity

"Congratulations, you are the second person in many years to pass the Trial of Blue."

Inside the Dragon Spirit Hall, an older sister wearing a blue witch's dress held a scepter and bowed to Tenjo Hikari.

"Tenjo Hikari, this guy isn't a spirit, he's a human." Beside him, Tierra saw the priestess and whispered to Tenjo Hikari.

A human, really?

The priestess bowed to Tenjo Hikari, then turned around, extended her hand, and gently guided him.

The strange thing that had been locked inside the Mausoleum of White seemed to dissipate, and Tierra could finally freely observe his surroundings, no longer confined to the Dueling Arena.

"Miss Priestess, what was going on earlier?" Tenjo Hikari asked as he followed.

Of course, what he was asking about was the matter with Kaibaman.

After the duel, Kaibaman dissolved into light, which clearly wasn't AI technology.

"That was the trial of True Light." The priestess explained as they walked, while nearby, some spirits observed Tenjo Hikari with curiosity or fear. Noticing their gaze, Tenjo Hikari raised his hand as friendly as possible to respond.

"Our dimension serves the legendary dragon, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The Sanctuary selects suitable persons from countless worlds to inherit the Power of Light." The priestess continued, "I am also one of them."

"Ten years ago, a man came to this dimension by his own talent. He seemed destined to be a user of Blue-Eyes... no, it seemed as if Blue-Eyes existed for him.

He learned the summoning of the Indigo-Eyes Silver Dragon almost instantly and easily subdued all the dragons, gaining everyone's recognition."

After saying this, she smiled slightly and said to Tenjo Hikari, "I was just a child back then and witnessed his heroism, and I never thought that ten years later, I would see that person's failure."

"So, that was indeed Mr. Kaiba from ten years ago?"

"That's right—" The priestess nodded slightly as several spirits and humans had already opened a large door.

Behind them stood an enormous stone slab that almost reached the sky.

The stone slab of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon!

Tenjo Hikari was slightly taken aback.

Could it be—

This really is the stone slab of the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"?

"Before the stone slab of True Light, our dimension has a set of unique trial methods."

Tenjo Hikari nodded.

Each dimension has different features, rules, customs: the Warrior's Domain selects people of equivalent level for duels, the Secret Village of the Spellcasters requires an application, the Mountain drives away those who could influence the children...

Places like the Mausoleum of White having special rules makes sense.

"Light selects qualified warriors to come to this dimension. For those who cannot resonate with or sense the Light, all other beings must challenge the Trial of Cyan."

"In the past, the Trial of Cyan was actually a challenge against our dimension, but ten years ago, Kaiba Seto defeated our duelists and then gained the final authority—"

"Final authority?"

"It's the authority to 'add entries to the rules'."

The priestess pointed to the stone slab nearby: "He initially wrote that he alone could have Blue-Eyes, but upon our reminder, he recalled that there were many other spirits and cards in this dimension and revised it.

Only those recognized by him can possess Blue-Eyes."

"I see. So, whenever a being or spirit comes to your dimension, they must face the Kaibaman of ten years ago, right?"

"That's right—"

As they spoke, a tall warrior was already walking over with a few boxes.

"As a traveler of dimensions, you must have sought companions in other dimensions as well, but here, you should know that cards may not appear as you expect."

She placed the box in front of the stone slab.

"What does this mean?" Tenjo Hikari pointed to the box, "Wait for the card to manifest from the stone slab?"

"Correct. Close your eyes, channel your power and thoughts into this box. True Light will descend and give you answers that match your 'achievements'."

So that's how it is.

Tenjo Hikari closed his eyes and touched the box, causing purple light to emanate from him. Tierra, bored, looked up and down, seemingly trying to learn something.

With long-term training and Tierra's assistance, Tenjo Hikari's Spirit Adaptability had reached a full LV 8, almost the pinnacle for an ordinary person.

Gradually, he felt as if he was in a pure white space, with someone softly asking him questions.

He tried to respond a couple of times, expressing his thoughts.

Then...

"I understand. But—I promised not to give anyone Blue-Eyes White Dragon, so..."

In a daze, a voice seemed to echo, prompting him to suddenly open his eyes.

Looking up, the massive stone slab in front of him began to glow. The image of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon on the slab emitted a soft white light, which poured down like warm sunlight streaming through a window into a dark wooden cabin.

The light infused into the box, and cards gradually emerged.

"It seems the Light has given you a response."

The priestess respectfully picked up the box, lifted it above her head, and gently bowed, presenting the cards for Tenjo Hikari to see.

"So many?" Tierra, nearby, was astonished.

She had seen Tenjo Hikari travel to various dimensions many times, but except for the time with Frightfur due to special circumstances and the Magical Scientist's collaborative research, it was the first time she'd seen so many cards given by the spirit side.

Tenjo Hikari returned the bow to the priestess before taking all the cards from the box at once.

The priestess gradually stood up.

Tenjo Hikari examined the cards in his hand.

No "Blue-Eyes White Dragon," huh.

Of course, this lack of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" refers to the absence of the normal monster type.

Though there was no actual Blue-Eyes White Dragon, there were three Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragons that counted as "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" on field or in the Graveyard. Additionally, there were a Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon and Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon among the cards. Furthermore, three Ultimate Fusion cards and three Strength in Unity cards along with one True Light were included.

Although Spell Cards didn't mean much to Tenjo Hikari, and he couldn't use Trap Cards, they weren't stingy at all.

One can only say, it's worthy of being the dimension where the legendary "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" resides among spirits.

However, though generous and truly provided, without Blue-Eyes White Dragon, how is Alternative White Dragon supposed to leap from the hand card?

Even Future Fusion offers no solution to send these three Alternative White Dragons to the Graveyard for fusing Alternative Ultimate Dragon and Tyrant Dragon—

Still, it's quite good.

Tenjo Hikari originally expected just "one" Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon to try alchemy and experiments.

He rubbed his chin, pondering, "Looks like I need to acquire a Five-Headed Dragon..."
