Chapter 303 - Chapter 119: Absurd Tales! And... Don't Push Me! (Part 3)

"Nonsense! Absolute nonsense!" Ian only felt like he was going to explode with frustration. Seeing him loudly refute, the little wizards of Ravenclaw all showed expressions of "just as expected".

"Don't worry, young professor, we all believe you. The Slytherin students are just slandering you."

"Yeah, yeah, William said he saw the truth, we trust what William says."

"You definitely weren't involved in the Dark Wizard activities, we understand. You just raised dozens of fire dragons in the Forbidden Forest... When those dragons grow up, can you sell me some meat to eat?"

...

The little wizards' comfort didn't make Ian feel any better. He looked around and couldn't find William's shadow. It was only when he looked forward did he see William had run to the Hufflepuff's long table.

The green-haired boy was even holding a megaphone microphone from who knows where.

"You all know, right? Our academy's Ian Prince, he's practically a legend. The dozens of fire dragons he raised are as big as houses."

"Perhaps in the future, they could grow as large as the school's castle. Those dragons breathe fire, and Ian is riding this mutant kind of fire dragon chasing after Grindelwald the Dark Wizard!" William seemed completely unaware that Ian had already arrived at the hall, he continued crafting a patched-up version of rumors for the little badgers.

"But, there shouldn't be dragons in Hogwarts' Forbidden Forest, right?" A little badger maintained a bit of intelligence, but this bit was soon cruelly taken by William's reply.

"Exactly because there aren't, that's why Ian raised them. I think he must be doing it so that we and our kids can live in a more diversified environment where we can see living giant dragons." William's tone was rather convincing, and his voice carried weight. A few little wizards who planned to question him lost their confidence due to this aura.

"How could what I saw be wrong?" William even patted his chest to guarantee, unaware that Ian was already standing behind him.

"Should I call you 'Magic Eye William'?" Ian's voice contained a hint of gritted teeth, seeing William's entire body shudder as if frightened.

"Scared me to death!"

The green-haired boy turned around with an expression full of excitement, "Ian! Quick! Tell us about the fire dragons you raised! Can you take me out to touch their butts tonight?"

He still loved fire dragons so much.

And his hobby was quite unique.

I wonder if his desire to transform into a giant dragon during Transformation class was because of this.

"Hogwarts doesn't have dragons! I haven't raised any fire dragons! That's a Transformation Technique! You idiot!" Ian snatched the loudspeaker equipment from William's hand.

"So, was it really you? The one causing such a commotion in the Forbidden Forest?" William was stunned for just a second, then like catching a key point, his eyes widened.

"....."

From William's emotional feedback, Ian realized this guy wasn't a clairvoyant; he was just making up stories. Perhaps he hadn't seen anything from the start.

"Didn't you say you saw it!"

Ian's teeth were nearly ground to dust.

"It's not my fault! It was Professor Lockhart! Our Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts said if I spread this story about you, he would give Ravenclaw ten extra points!"

William instantly deflated, directly exposing the truth.

"?????"

Ian was dumbfounded again.

"I actually thought it was a story made up by Professor Lockhart, maybe he was improvising?" William gave an awkward laugh, attempting to brush off nonexistent dust from Ian's robe.

"What the heck!"

Ian, one of the only two little wizards who knew the true identity of the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, found it absurd. Could this old man, once called the first-generation Black Demon King, be addicted to role-playing?

"Where is Greengrass?"

Ian thought of the other rumored instigator mentioned by the little wizards; he looked toward the Slytherin long table, not only was Greengrass absent from the hall, but he couldn't find Aurora either.

"She's at the castle gate."

A little wizard pointed a path for Ian.

Ian immediately grabbed three chicken legs from the Hufflepuff long table, then, before the little badgers could react, he gobbled a chicken leg and quickly rushed out of the hall.

"Did you know? That Prince from Ravenclaw, he discovered the founder's treasure in the Forbidden Forest and released dozens of fire dragons guarding the treasure from it."

"This classmate, you might also want to learn more about the commotion this afternoon, it turns out Ravenclaw's Prince broke an ancient seal in the Forbidden Forest."

"Wait a moment, classmate, I want to praise another classmate of ours, Ian Prince, he successfully used his giant dragons to scare off the Centaur army in the Forbidden Forest."

...

As soon as he neared the castle gate.

Ian heard Daphne Greengrass's feeble voice, she was really spreading different rumored stories to every passing wizard student.

She seemed to have a dry mouth and hoarse voice, but she still resolutely stopped every passerby, ceaseless stories bouncing from her mouth without any repetition.

"I really want to know...what you're doing...Miss Greengrass..." Ian found when he passed by, the lifeless-eyed Daphne Greengrass even wanted to grab him and spread the "gospel" story about Ian Prince to him too.
