Chapter 1018 - Chapter 316: Dumbledore's Arrival

Yes.

Albus Dumbledore.

The Albus Dumbledore who entered the Bronze Gate after Ian was swallowed, seeking to find the missing Ian.

He seemed to have fallen into another test set by the Bronze Gate, but somehow he now found himself in this ancient era.

Maybe he broke free from some cycle of the Bronze Gate, or perhaps he passed the test set by it. At any rate, he is indeed here.

Ancient Times.

Above an island enveloped by storms—for a wizard like Albus Dumbledore, passing through that outer layer of storm was not difficult.

You see, through his past schemes with his partner Grindelwald, he has achieved a legendary rank by deceiving fate and time.

With such power, Albus Dumbledore surely couldn't be trapped by a storm; he is exceptional even among legends.

Of course.

The storm and its elements did cause Albus Dumbledore some trouble, but it was merely an annoyance.

Nothing dangerous.

There was no sense of thrill. Even Dumbledore's hairstyle wasn't disturbed, much less his clothes, which didn't even touch the rain.

This shows that Albus Dumbledore was always at ease; the Sky Splitter in the storm is a legendary fantastic beast but definitely not a match for a legendary wizard.

At the same level.

Humans have always been stronger than beasts. Many facts from later generations can prove this. From the information Ian understood, it's reasonable. Of course, Ian isn't here, so Albus Dumbledore couldn't know this startling information that humans were created in the image of the Creator.

However.

This didn't affect Albus Dumbledore crossing the storm, much less the fact that among humans, he has always been outstanding.

The azure sea surface is as calm as a mirror.

Reflecting the flowing aurora in the sky.

"What a magical enclosed environment."

Albus Dumbledore hovered three feet above the sea, the hem of his deep blue robe gently swaying in the breeze, his feet over an endless deep blue wave.

The breeze caressed his robe, and the sea like a giant mirror reflected the clouds in the sky, also highlighting his flowing silver-white hair and beard. Fox, somehow, had already perched on his shoulder, its golden-red tail feathers occasionally brushing against the elder's cheek.

"It seems we've found the right place, old friend," Albus Dumbledore said softly, his blue eyes behind half-moon glasses locked on the distant island shrouded in mist.

Fox rested quietly on his shoulder, its feathers shimmering with a soft golden-red glow, seemingly wary of this unfamiliar land.

Clearly.

This Phoenix, which somehow flew out of Hogwarts and found its way into the Bronze Gate with Dumbledore, looked quite uneasy now.

"Ian is here."

Albus Dumbledore's tone sounded very certain.

He kept his gaze fixed on the island.

It was like a gem embedded in the ocean under the sun, with a distinct outline yet exuding a strange aura not of this world. The air was filled with the scent of plants mingling with the sea, occasionally accompanied by strange bird calls and low beast roars from within the island.

"Gan~Gan~Gan~Gan~"

In this unfamiliar environment, the Phoenix felt an inexplicable restlessness. Fox let out a crisp cry, its wings fluttering uneasily a couple of times.

Bulido reached out to stroke its feathers, feeling a slight warmth at his fingertips.

"It's just another adventure of ours," Albus Dumbledore gently stroked its head, calming his companion with a gentle and soothing voice.

Of course, the magic wand still slipped into his palm from his sleeve. As for time travel, Albus Dumbledore was now quite familiar.

Only heaven knows how many time travels he and his former partner had undertaken, and how many solo experiments he conducted to verify some of his hypotheses.

For this reason.

Even realizing this era wasn't one understood by wizards, Albus Dumbledore didn't feel much anxiety inside.

In fact, he was a bit expectant.

After all.

It's well-known.

Albus Dumbledore is a qualified Gryffindor, and no student of Gryffindor College can refuse the unknown adventure.

"Gan~Gan~Gan~Gan~" Fox seemed to understand his words, and after a few more calls, stopped singing, rubbing its head against Dumbledore's cheek.

"Let's go find that child."

The next moment.

The figure of the elder twisted and deformed like mist scattered by the wind, then instantly reformed on the island's silver sand beach.

Immediately, Fox took flight as if surveying and scouting the environment, circled once in the air, and landed back on his shoulder.

The fine sand on the beach shimmered with a pearl-like luster in the sunlight.

Each step left glowing footprints.

"A man-made world, or rather a divine world, the alchemy here is breathtaking," Dumbledore observed his surroundings with great interest.
