Seraphina
The next few days were insane. I almost cried from exhaustion.
Everywhere was in a state of chaos. Maids rushed up and down the halls, decorators were arguing over colors, the palace cook kept screaming "Has the menu been approved yet?"
It was like everyone had suddenly decided that they wanted to be seen as serious because there was no way the entire chaos happening was simply because of a ball.
I felt already tired before it even began. My uncle had made it clear that the ball wasn't for me, it was clearly for him, I didn't need to ask him to know that I was just the perfect cover up and I sincerely hoped that all this would come to an end soon because I was really really tired.
Still, I played along. It was easier than arguing because if I did, I wouldn't be seen as the proper princess and my uncle would never let me hear the end of it.
