Chapter 54 - Chapter 44: The Clumsy Dragon Takes Flight First

"Baa?"

The Skiddo let out a puzzled cry.

The other two Skiddo also looked over in confusion.

Naoki suddenly felt a bit embarrassed.

Fortunately, at this moment, a light bulb appeared above the head of one of the Skiddo, as if having a sudden realization.

"Baa!" Maybe the Trainer wants to give the milk to other Pokemon on this ranch!

They can produce a lot of milk, and if there are young Skiddo babies in need, they will feed them.

If there are no Skiddo babies, they will temporarily store it.

So, all three Skiddo were indifferent about this matter.

"Baa baa~"

You want milk? Sure, we'll give it to you! After all, you're our Trainer and you feed us such delicious food!

Seeing the Skiddo's look, Naoki felt a bit perplexed. He tentatively asked, "Are you willing to share the milk with me?"

"Baa!" The Skiddo nodded in unison.

Naoki felt a surge of joy, but he couldn't shake the feeling that the Skiddo misunderstood something. Thinking it over, he explained his plan to sell the milk for profit.

After a pause, Naoki continued, "I'll use the money I earn to buy more ingredients to make more grass dumplings for you."

"Baa?"

The Skiddo looked puzzled, seemingly asking how much more that would be.

Naoki thought for a moment and replied, "More than enough, you won't finish it in your lifetime."

"Baa~!"

Upon hearing that, the Skiddo's eyes shone with excitement, eager to offer all the milk in their bodies in exchange for the grass dumplings.

Naoki: "..." There's no need to go that far.

He breathed a sigh of relief, smiling at the Skiddo, "Then let's settle on that."

The Skiddo would provide milk, while he was responsible for taking care of them for life, a mutual agreement, companionship forever.

Night had fallen.

The sprawling ranch was enveloped in darkness. The Skiddo yawned and lay down on a patch of grass and soon fell asleep after trampling down a large area.

In the cabin, well-fed and close together, the Nacli also drifted into slumber.

Naoki stood at the door, looking at the few Pokemon inside the room, with a gentle smile.

The ranch was becoming more and more lively.

"You should rest too!" Naoki said to the Cyclizar standing nearby, "I'll be going out again tonight, don't wait for me, go to sleep first!"

"Grooa..."

The Cyclizar obediently nodded.

Naoki patted its head, then gently closed the door and flew towards Casseroya Lake on Koraidon.

Guided by memories, Naoki once again reached the clifftop.

Before getting close, he had already seen the familiar figure sitting there.

Dragonite was still sitting there in a daze, looking at the moon with a forlorn expression.

Koraidon landed slowly, and upon hearing the sound, Dragonite turned to look.

Naoki thought this Dragonite would fly away, as it had done for the past few days, but to his surprise, it remained still.

Upon closer inspection, compared to a few days ago, this Dragonite seemed to have some noticeable new scars and appeared quite battered.

Oh? It's injured?

Naoki instinctively took out some berries with restorative effects from his backpack and offered them.

Dragonite blinked, looking at the berry in the human's hand, then looked up at the human.

"Go ahead and eat!" Naoki said, "Eating it will help heal your wounds."

"Oowoo..."

Dragonite sighed softly, declined the human's gesture, and closed its eyes again.

Naoki wasn't disheartened; he sat down next to Dragonite with Koraidon, watching the moon alongside it, "Did something upset you?"

"Oowoo..."

At these words, Dragonite lowered its head.

"Grooa?" (Did you come here because that Dragonite dismissed you as weak?)

At this, Koraidon suddenly asked a question.

Upon hearing this, Dragonite quickly raised its head, a look of surprise on its face.

"Oowoo?" (How did you know?)

"Grooa." (I just know.)

Koraidon tilted its head, playfully withholding an explanation.

Dragonite sighed again, "Oowoo..."

Indeed, it was a very weak Dragonite. Due to natural clumsiness, while other Dragonite could learn many powerful moves during their growth, it couldn't learn any.

During its growth, Dragonite gradually accepted this reality, but not long ago, it fell for another Dragonite.

However, that Dragonite rejected it because it couldn't use Dragon Tail.

Dragonite was very heartbroken and came here every day alone, dazed.

Today during the day, it attempted to train by battling other Dragonite, but ended up injured instead of getting stronger.

Thinking about this, Dragonite couldn't help but sigh again.

Beside him, Naoki looked curiously at Koraidon conversing with Dragonite.

As a human, he couldn't understand Pokemon speech, but judging by Koraidon's demeanor, the dialogue was going smoothly.

Then, Koraidon asked, "Grooa?" (Have you thought about finding a human Trainer to help you become stronger?)

Upon hearing this, Dragonite blinked, looking bewildered, "Oowoo?" (Human Trainer? What's that?)

Koraidon: "Grooa." (It's a human. They can help Pokemon become stronger, evolve, and learn moves.)

Dragonite's eyes widened, and it couldn't believe it, asking, "Oowoo?!" (I can, too?)

Koraidon nodded confidently, "Grooa!"

Dragonite, somewhat excited, quickly asked, "Oowoo?" (Where can I find them?)

This guy is still so dumb... Koraidon felt a bit exasperated and turned its gaze to Naoki beside it.

Dragonite followed its gaze and immediately looked hopeful, "Oowoo?" (Is he the Trainer?)

Koraidon nodded.

In the next moment, Dragonite stood excitedly.

Naoki was stunned for a second. Then, Koraidon pulled a Poke Ball from his pocket with its paw.

Naoki: "?"

He was confused, receiving the Poke Ball handed over by Koraidon, before he could ask, Koraidon said something to Dragonite.

Then, Dragonite reached out its paw.

Upon touching the Poke Ball's button, its body was instantly absorbed by a red light.

Watching this scene, Koraidon felt very satisfied, "Grooa!"

Finally, it could go back and have a good sleep!

Naoki still looked bewildered. He looked at the Poke Ball in his hand, then at Koraidon, and couldn't help but ask, "What did you say to it? Why did it suddenly change like that?"

"Grooa..." Koraidon shook its head, indicating it didn't say much, then pointed at the Poke Ball and flexed its arms, showing its muscles.

Naoki paused, guessing, "It wants to become stronger?"

"Grooa!" Koraidon happily nodded.

What the heck...

Wants to be stronger, so it needs a Trainer?

This Dragonite is like a clueless fool!

But I'm not even a Trainer!

Naoki looked at the Poke Ball in his hand.

This... does this count as capturing it?
