Dragonite recently had a troubling matter.
It had fallen for a Dragonite on the island, but it was also the infamous dimwitted Dragonite, not nearly as skilled as the others who knew many moves.
Though its peers never mocked it, Dragonite still felt sad about it.
So much so that every night, it found itself unable to sleep peacefully.
Dragonite looked up at the moon hanging in the sky, planning to follow the moon's direction in search of a place where it could be alone and undisturbed.
It flew along the sea for a long time until it reached a vast land, where it found a high cliff and sat there gazing at the moon.
The crescent moon in the sky was like its dragon life, incomplete.
Looking at the moon, Dragonite's heart was filled with deep sorrow.
One day, two days, three days... gradually, a year passed.
Time didn't change anything; instead, it intensified Dragonite's inner sorrow.
When it returned to Dragonite Island and saw its companions growing more powerful, Dragonite fell into a whole dragon of depression.
It lost the desire to pursue love, remaining on Dragonite Island, miserable and cheerless, living a dull and tasteless life.
Yet even so, Dragonite would leave Dragonite Island every night, heading to that cliff to watch the moon.
Day after day, year after year, Dragonite never stopped.
Even it didn't know why it did this.
But a faint feeling lingered in Dragonite's heart; it must go there!

On one side of Casseroya Lake.
Skiddo and its two companions were leisurely munching on grass and soaking up the sun, as usual.
But for some reason, Skiddo felt that the grass in its mouth lacked the usual flavor.
Skiddo lifted its head and looked around; the sky was still so blue, the lake water still so clear, the sunlight still so bright.
Perhaps... it was an illusion?
Skiddo brushed off the thought and started contemplating a different question.
—Where should it go today to find fresh and luscious grass?
The grass here had been eaten by them entirely; next, it would go somewhere further to explore!
Skiddo cast its gaze to the other side of Casseroya Lake, where a lush area of delicious grass was growing, along with several berry trees.
The berry trees bore lots and lots of berries, looking very appetizing!
"Maa!" Skiddo made a decision; it was going to check it out!

"Hey, Naoki, your work has been off lately! If the boss notices, you'll be in trouble, so be careful!"
In the office, a colleague at the next desk looked at Naoki, who was staring blankly at his desk, and quietly reminded him.
Naoki snapped back to reality, saying, "Oh oh!"
The man couldn't help but be curious at his demeanor: "What's wrong? Stayed up all night playing games again?"
Naoki fell into thought, then suddenly asked, "Do you think our current life is real?"
The man was slightly stunned, then widened his eyes, "Are you crazy? What do you mean by life being real? Everyone has always lived like this."
Naoki: "..."
He pondered, "I keep feeling as if it's all a dream, but at night I dream of another world, where I become a Rancher, living with a large group of Pokemon."
The man: "..." Naoki was dreaming again.
"It's not nighttime yet." The man was utterly speechless.
But Naoki didn't think so.
Was it really a dream? Why did he remember every detail of the dream so clearly?
There was no overtime today; after work, Naoki returned to his rented flat, turned on his switch, and gazed at Koraidon in a daze.
While sleeping at night, Naoki had the same dream again.
Everything in the dream felt so real; he knew the names and habits of every Pokemon, and what they liked.
Early the next morning, as Naoki awakened once more, the familiar feeling in his mind grew stronger.
He truly had lived with those Pokemon!
Naoki began to question the reality of this world.
He muddled through several days of work, then one day after work, he went up to the rooftop of the company building.
Without Koraidon and the others, life seemed meaningless.
If this was all a dream, then what he was doing now might be the best way to wake up?
Thinking of this, Naoki leaped down.

Within the mist, Tapu Fini immediately let out a shocked cry at the human's action: "Fini!"
Arceus also appeared utterly stunned.
Was this human insane?
He actually chose to give up his life to see the Pokemon!
Luckily, it was only the Illusion Realm.
"To actually go to such lengths..." Arceus stared at the scene blankly.
How much does this Naoki love Pokemon?
And just then, Tapu Fini suddenly let out another cry of surprise.
"Fini!"
Arceus followed its gaze and saw changes occurring in the other Pokemon's Illusion Realm.

No! It shouldn't be like this!
Seeing the Trainer before it, Koraidon was immensely terrified inside; this wasn't its Trainer!
Thinking of this, Koraidon retreated repeatedly.
Amidst Mayor Thomas and others' stunned expressions, Koraidon turned and ran toward the distance.
It ran aimlessly on the road, trying to find that very important person.
The sun rose and fell, the snow on the ground melted and refroze.
