Chapter 138 - Chapter 131: Do You Remember This Move?

Airknight Parshath, Summon!

[Airknight Parshath, Attack Power 2800]

It was a divine, high-end monster adorned with holy light, radiating brilliance all over. Clad in blue armor, with angelic metallic wings, wielding a blue shield and a giant sword, as if ready to deliver divine judgment at any moment.

Parshath is also a classic old series in Yu-Gi-Oh!, having appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! DM animation, used by an AI loaded with a vast amount of dueling data in one of the original story arcs.

Though Ishizu did use Fairy-Type monsters throughout the animation, this is one she definitely never used.

As she just mentioned, she foresaw that Youyu would be wary of her ace "Exchange of the Spirit," so she adjusted her tactics before this duel.

And now, this holy angel appearing on the field is her true trump card.

"Parshath can, when a Counter Trap is activated on its side, banish two Fairy-Type monsters from the graveyard to special summon itself from the graveyard or hand," Ishizu declared.

This is clearly one of those monsters that shouldn't be messed with.

But Youyu was not intimidated: "My turn isn't over yet. Although I can't continue to fuse, I can still fight.

Activate the Magic Card, 'H - Heated Heart,' boosting the attack power of 'Elemental Hero Solidman' by 500 points until the end of the turn!"

[Elemental Hero Solidman, Attack Power 1300 → Attack Power 1800]

"Have Solidman attack 'Warlock of the Sea and Sky'!"

The burning letter H appeared, and flames ignited around Solidman, heating its entire metallic body to a crimson red.

The Elemental Hero leapt out and engaged in a fierce clash with the monk. Solidman's fist slammed into the monk's nose, while at the same time, the monk struck the hero's chest with a palm.

With equal attack power, a mutual destruction is inevitable.

"The turn ends," Youyu said.

This way, the Warlock's interference with the graveyard zone is also removed.

"Damn it," Jonouchi became increasingly anxious, "Continuously maintaining pressure while also summoning such powerful monsters... Even ignoring that so-called 'Future Sight' ability, this woman is excessively strong!"

Even President Kaiba looked at Ishizu with newfound appreciation, thinking to himself, "This woman... it's not just about pretending to be mysterious, her strength as a Duelist is genuine."

However, as the involved party, Youyu wasn't as pessimistic.

On the surface, it seemed like Youyu had been suppressed, but in fact, up to this point, the duel hadn't spiraled out of his control.

Even though actions were repeatedly nullified and blocked, at this moment Ishizu's hand cards and backfield resources had been completely exhausted—exactly as he aimed for from the beginning.

And Youyu still remembered most of the cards in Ishizu's graveyard, among which there were no reusable resources.

In other words, Ishizu now truly only has the "Airknight Parshath" on the field.

Next, it all depended on the card she would draw in the next turn...

"My turn, draw," Ishizu drew a card, glanced at it, and immediately added it to her hand, "Battle."

Youyu breathed a sigh of relief.

It wasn't a Pot or a Gift of the Mystical Elf.

However, it wasn't surprising, as Ishizu dominated the field with absolute advantage, with both Life Points and field situation, not satisfying the anime character's "empty hand and field must topdeck a miracle" condition...(Mysticism)

"Use 'Airknight Parshath' to attack," Ishizu lightly lifted her slender arm, "Targeting 'Elemental Hero Blazeman.'

The massive knight swung the Holy Sword from a distance, the wings behind exploding in a dazzling flash at that moment. The white sword qi surged forward like a tide, evaporating the hero in an instant as the domineering sword light struck Blazeman.

[Youyu LP 2300 → LP 700]

"Airknight Parshath's follow-up effect also activates at this moment," she said, "After this card inflicts battle damage to the opponent, you can add a Counter Trap from the deck to the hand.

I add the Counter Trap 'Divine Wrath' to my hand.

Then I set a card and end the turn."

A set card appeared at Ishizu's feet, and she declared the end of her turn.

Youyu looked at the set card by her feet, then glanced at his hand, slightly narrowing his eyes.

Ishizu's action was almost an open book.

There was basically no doubt that the card she set was the Counter Trap 'Divine Wrath' she had just searched.

Divine Wrath is a rather powerful trap, even holding its ground in the physical card environment twenty years after DM. Its effect allows a player to negate the activation of an Effect Monster's effect and destroy that monster by discarding a card from the hand.

And besides this set card, Ishizu's hand only had one card left—that card must be one to discard as the activation cost of Divine Wrath.

In other words, by reaching this point, Youyu's strategy had succeeded. Her resources were depleted, and she had no plays left.

Additionally, at this moment, the conditions for Youyu's system skill Destiny Draw also met.

"My turn, draw!"

Youyu drew a card, glanced at his remaining hand... feeling that the victory formula seemed to have been completed.
