Chapter 1156 - Chapter 1098: The World of the Blood Tribe

The vampire was incredibly fast, reaching the players amidst them in the blink of an eye.

Before he could react, a player facing forward was struck. He watched as his body was struck head-on, the sharp claws slicing through his chest like cutting through butter.

Fortunately, he didn't have the pain simulation turned on—the game does have a pain simulation switch, but most people choose to set it to "off." Only a few thrill-seekers who want to personally experience the so-called "Darkness Game" sensation would turn it on.

If the pain simulation was on, it surely would have been deadly.

"Oh crap, it actually hit someone!"

"Summon a monster to attack it!"

Only then did the players hurriedly activate their Duel Discs, but compared to the vampire, they were too slow. The vampire raised its claw and instantly killed one person. It then spun around and grabbed a nearby player, biting the player's neck with its fangs, causing the latter to scream sharply.

——Ah! That feels amazing~~

"..."

The vampire kicked away the player who seemed not to have enough, and then targeted a third person. This time, it chose a player with crab-like hair, probably thinking this tech-savvy guy dressed-up was an easy target.

The sharp claws reached forward, pressing onto the opponent's shoulder. The vampire's scarlet eyes gleamed with excitement, a lust for blood.

But unexpectedly, as its claw went downward... it struck nothing.

The crab-haired player shrank his shoulder with an astonishing reflex, then seamlessly followed with a shoulder strike. The vampire had not anticipated a counterattack and had no time to retreat; it took the full impact on the chest with a groan.

The crab-haired player then pivoted, his elbow striking the vampire's abdomen like a sledgehammer, so powerful it almost forced the vampire to spit out the blood it hadn't swallowed yet.

Finally, to finish off the combo, the crab-haired player stood firm, his entire body exerting force like a rocket, channeling all its thrust into his gloved right fist —

——Uppercut!

Accompanied by what felt like a "Hadouken" voiceover, this punch nearly shattered the vampire's jaw. The latter cried out miserably as it was knocked to the ground, rolling several times.

Around them, cries of "666" and "Crab Ascension Fist" erupted, reminiscent of a KO scene in a free fight arena.

The vampire hadn't expected to hit a tough opponent, rolling in embarrassment and releasing the force before half-kneeling to stand up. Just as it attempted to rise, it felt a chill at its throat, seeing a general clad in red armor standing in front of it, scarlet-eyed, with a cold long blade poised at its throat.

Great Shogun Shien.

Not only Shien, but all sorts of monsters had appeared around him. There were battle-hardened warriors, fierce and domineering dragons, angels surrounded by holy light, and undead-types with eerie auras...

In an instant, it was completely surrounded.

Within the circle, you could even see a fluffy white Kuribohrn, chirping "Kuriri Kuriri" while swaying, looking particularly cute.

Sprite squinted his eyes: "Why did you summon that?"

Yue Hua, the lady, looked helpless: "What can I do? I drew and flipped the deck, and it was on top. The situation was too tense to look at what I drew..."

Throughout, Youyu stood calmly on the side with no intention to act. Yubel was equally composed, watching the drama unfold with arms crossed while providing commentary.

"Vampire's dimension." She said, "You should be careful."

"Oh? Why?" Youyu asked.

"The ruler of this dimension is 'Fraulein'." Yubel shrugged, "She's not in the same league as the Winged Beast-type triviality from the previous dimension.

She's like me, one of the four strongest under The Supreme King."

"Fraulein?" Youyu paused, quickly realizing, "Could it be... Fraulein Thousand Gold?"

Vampire Fraulein, this name is well-known among card enthusiasts, almost the flagship of the entire Vampire series. She's the most legendary existence within the vampire race in the Yu-Gi-Oh World.

Vampires appeared early in DM as a classic deck but always remained niche and unpopular. The deck was too weak, performing poorly throughout generations.

Until Vampire Fraulein came, instantly attracting a large following for the nearly dead series.

After her debut, she immediately became the core of the new generation Vampire Deck, becoming the most popular vampire card due to her superb power and performance...

...Alright, talking nonsense.

The real reason is the card image's exquisite artwork. Her skin, almost transparent white, her face perfectly crafted like art, coupled with a tear mark as if she had just cried, her pitiful eyes and expression seriously hit the points for some gentlemen.

Card enthusiasts are indeed fascinating creatures. They all declare "no dating," yet cards with thin waists and long legs become increasingly expensive, but it's unclear whose fault it is....

Surrounded by monsters, the vampire finally calmed down. He examined the diverse group of monsters encircling him, frowned momentarily, and murmured: "Not a Spellcaster-Type... Aren't you Magicians?"

The players looked at each other in confusion.

"We are not," Youyu stepped forward, "Why do you think we are Magicians?"

"Because those shameless guys often show up." The vampire spoke gritting his teeth.

Yubel understood: "Looks like Lamor and Fraulein haven't been getting along. Lamor told me, after The Supreme King disappeared, the Twelfth Dimension has been at war for years.

It seems Vampires and Magicians' dimension are adversaries now."

"Due to those damn Magicians, we don't know how many comrades we've sacrificed." The vampire said angrily, "And this town too.

Because it will soon become the frontline for both sides, civilians have already evacuated early."

Everyone realized why the place seemed ghostly, as if everyone was dead.

The people had already evacuated.

"We are not Magicians," Youyu said, "just passing through."

"Passing through?" The vampire looked skeptical.

"Yes, just passing. And we don't plan to stay here long." Youyu explained.

The vampire scrutinized them for a moment.

"Where are you heading?"

"Supreme King Castle," Youyu stated, "the center of the Twelfth Dimension, where the ruling King is. I guess you know the way, right?"

The vampire's scarlet pupils constricted slightly, unable to hide his shocked expression.

But he quickly regained his composure.

"You actually... alright, it's been long since anyone mentioned going there." He looked at them oddly.

"But of course I know the way, everyone here does." The vampire stood up, "Follow me."
