"The effect of 'Vision Hero Faris,' discard a 'Hero' monster from your hand for a special summon directly from the hand!"
[Vision Hero Faris, ATK 1600]
"When Faris is summoned successfully, place 'Vision Hero Increase' from the deck into the Trap Zone." Youyu continued, "Next is the effect of Increase.
In the Trap Zone, Increase can use 'Vision Hero Faris' on the field as a tribute for a special summon itself!"
[Vision Hero Increase, ATK 900]
"The follow-up effect of Increase! When successfully special summoned, special summon another 'Vision Hero' from the deck. I special summon 'Vision Hero Vyon'!"
[Vision Hero Vyon, ATK 1000]
"Vyon's effect, when you summon it, send a 'Hero' monster from the deck to the graveyard. I'll send 'Destiny Hero Malicious' to the graveyard.
Next is his other effect. By banishing 'Vision Hero Faris' in the graveyard from the game, add the Magic Card 'Fusion' from the deck to the hand."
A series of standard Hero operations, but now to the main event.
"Activate the Magic Card 'Fusion' from the hand!" Youyu directly slapped out the card he retrieved to the hand, "Fusing the Dark Attribute 'Vision Hero Vyon' on the field with the Water Attribute 'Elemental Hero Liquidman' in hand!
The fusion condition is, two Hero Monsters with different attributes!
A hero as radiant as the sun, illuminating the end of the sky with endless brilliance! Fusion Summon!
The brand-new luminous Elemental Hero——
——Elemental Hero Sunrise!"
A new fusion, the new power conferred from the fusion of Elemental Heroes! Like dawn slicing through the sky, like the sun slowly rising from the horizon with endless golden rays spreading warmth across the land.
The high-temperature light seemed to warp space, and the hero's magnificent silhouette appeared under the shimmering golden light. His armor was fiery red, and his cape undulated like waves against the backdrop of sunlight.
[Elemental Hero Sunrise, ATK 2500]
Quite a few card players were unsettled: "Wow, Sunrise!"
"Since when did Youyu secretly print this card?"
"Big Boss! The final Big Boss of Elemental Heroes!"
Even Ed was surprised.
"Sunrise!?" He widened his eyes, "I've never heard of this new Elemental Hero before!? When did Teacher Youyu..."
Youyu waved his big hand.
"First is the effect of 'Elemental Hero Liquidman,' when sent to the grave as a Hero Fusion Material, draw two cards from the deck, then discard one card from the hand."
Youyu crossed two cards, discarded one selected card from the hand, then pointed again to the stylish and imposing new Elemental Hero on the field.
"The effect of Sunrise, upon successful special summon, is to add the Magic Card 'Miracle Fusion' from the deck to the hand."
The card was ejected and drawn by Youyu to his hand.
"Then activate the Magic Card 'Legacy of a Hero.' When there are two or more level four or higher Heroes in the graveyard, draw three cards."
"Activate the Magic Card 'Miracle Fusion'!"
The Magic Card floated before him, projecting a large golden H symbol.
"Miracle Fusion, by banishing Fusion Material Monsters on the field or in the graveyard from the game, Fusion Summon an 'Elemental Hero' Fusion Monster!"
Youyu withdrew two cards from the graveyard area.
"Fusing 'Vision Hero Vyon' in the graveyard, and the Water Attribute 'Elemental Hero Liquidman'!
The fusion condition is, a 'Hero' Monster plus any Water Attribute monster, Fusion Summon!
Born from the abyss of extreme cold——
——Elemental Hero Absolute Zero!!!"
The radiance of miracles burst forth, two heroes merging, exploding into a vortex of absolute zero. The frigid tide flattened the entire battlefield, and the hero with pure white armor spiraled out.
[Elemental Hero Absolute Zero, ATK 2500]
"Next is the effect of 'Destiny Hero Malicious' in the graveyard," Youyu stated, "Banishing 'Destiny Hero Malicious' in the graveyard from the game, special summon a card with the same name from the deck!"
[Destiny Hero Malicious, ATK 800]
"Magic Card 'Fusion Substitute'!" Youyu declared, "Fusion the 'Destiny Hero Malicious' on the field with 'Vision Hero Increase'!
The fusion condition is, two Hero monsters! Fusion summon——
——Vision Hero Adoration!!!"
Once again, two heroes merged into the vortex of fusion, a pillar of dark light exploded, and chaotic energy surged forth. Vision Hero flew out with arms crossed, dark streamers flying behind him, landing with such force it seemed to sink the ground beneath.
[Vision Hero Adoration, ATK 2800]
The surrounding Vampires started to commotion again.
"This warrior managed to summon so many powerful monsters within a single turn!"
"Isn't he on par with Her Majesty the Queen..."
"And that was with the interference of a Counter Trap..."
"Elemental Hero Sunrise has another effect." Youyu remarked, "The attack power of all your monsters on the field increases by the number of attribute types x200.
Currently, I have Light Attribute, Dark Attribute, and Water Attribute monsters on the field, so all Heroes' attack power increases by 600."
[Elemental Hero Sunrise, ATK 2500 → ATK 3100]
[Elemental Hero Absolute Zero, ATK 2500 → ATK 3100]
[Vision Hero Adoration, ATK 2800 → ATK 3400]
"Next is the effect of Adoration," Youyu waved his big hand, "Choose a Hero on my field, lower the attack and defense of one monster on the opponent's field by the attack power of the Hero on my field!
I choose 'Elemental Hero Sunrise' to decrease the attack power of 'Vampire Grimson' by Sunrise's attack power—3100 points!"
Adoration's arms spread, and invisible force weighed down like imperceptible gravity on Grimson, who groaned and kneeled to the ground, the scythe barely holding steady.
[Vampire Grimson, ATK 2000 → ATK 0]
"Oh no!" A Vampire exclaimed anxiously, "Her Majesty can't withstand the opponent's attack..."
"Battle!" Youyu raised his hand, "Vision Hero Adoration, attack 'Vampire Grimson'! Ambition Strike!"
Adoration's power surged, black streamers soared upward as a massive blast tore through the ground towards Grimson, almost enough to directly obliterate...
...But it didn't!
If you look closely, Ambition Strike's blast didn't directly hit Grimson. A faint, colorful iris seemed to shield against the Vision Hero's attack!
"Trap Card 'Draining Shield,'" Vampire Fraulein stated, "The opponent's attack is nullified, and you restore Life Points equal to the attack power of that monster!"
[Vampire Fraulein, LP 3300 → LP 6700]
"Beautiful!" A Vampire immediately cheered, "As expected of Her Majesty! Not only blocking the attack but also restoring a large amount of life on top of that..."
"Then the third effect of 'Elemental Hero Sunrise'!"
Fraulein's expression changed slightly.
This monster even has a third effect?
"When a monster on your side of the field other than Sunrise declares an attack, you can activate this effect during the battle declaration step," Youyu stated, "Destroy one card on the opponent's field.
I destroy your Continuous Magic 'Vampire Domain'!"
