"Number two, Hyuga Kamon, and number four, Might Guy, prepare for the exam."
Might Guy's opponent in the second round is Hyuga Kamon, who had once defeated him in the first semester.
Hyuga Kamon did not participate in Mokgetsu's summer training, saying he had to train with his family's elders at home.
He could understand Hyuga Kamon's thinking, as the Hyuga Clan's Taijutsu is unique, and ordinary teachers indeed couldn't teach Hyuga students much.
Back then, even as a Chunin, or even as a Special Jonin, Hyuga Kamon probably wouldn't have attended, believing that Mokgetsu couldn't help him become stronger.
"Might Guy, be careful this time. I'm much stronger than last semester," Hyuga Kamon said, forming the Seal of Opposition.
Being defeated by Might Guy in the final exams left him unwilling, so he sought help from his uncle to refine his Gentle Fist over the vacation. Now, Hyuga Kamon had the confidence to defeat Might Guy.
"Who are you?" Might Guy scratched his head, feeling that the person rolling his eyes at him seemed somewhat familiar.
"I remember now, last semester's Hyuga Daimon!" Might Guy recalled the memories of the final exams.
Hyuga Kamon's forehead almost crinkled into a hashtag symbol, unsure if Might Guy was using a tactic to anger him or if he really remembered wrong.
Unable to hold back, Hyuga Kamon loudly corrected:
"It's Kamon! Hyuga Kamon! Is your memory really that bad? Your theoretical grades must not be good."
"You're quite perceptive; my theoretical grades are indeed not great," Might Guy replied, forming the Seal of Opposition.
Hyuga Kamon had nothing to say, taking a deep breath to prepare for the fight.
Last time, he was slightly weaker than Might Guy, even though he could see through Might Guy's moves, his body couldn't respond.
This time was different, his speed and Gentle Fist had improved with his uncle's help. As long as the Gentle Fist hits, it inflicts damage, and he had no weaknesses now.
"Start the fight!" As soon as the proctor saw they were ready, he shouted.
Hyuga Kamon instantly activated his Byakugan, veins bulging around his eyes, seeing through Might Guy's Chakra, skeletal structure, and all his meridians and acupoints, then quickly moved forward to attack Might Guy's Chakra acupoints.
Might Guy easily sidestepped and then threw a punch. Seeing through Might Guy's moves, Hyuga Kamon caught it with his palm, but was pushed back more than a meter.
"Such strength, even stronger than before!" Hyuga Kamon felt his tingling hand and his expression became serious; Might Guy seemed to have made significant progress too.
"At this level, I don't need to use the Breathing Technique." After a probing attack, Might Guy made his assessment.
This missed opportunity made many spectators think Hyuga Kamon was already on the edge of defeat.
"Guy is still strong, Hyuga Kamon can't beat him," Shiranui Genma said.
He was number two, and his first-round opponent was Hyuga Kamon.
After fighting Hyuga Kamon, Shiranui Genma felt Hyuga Kamon was about average strength in Group A; he could beat the weaker ones in Group A but couldn't possibly be a match for the strong Might Guy.
"Yes, he's probably the only one in the fourth grade who didn't attend the special training. Last semester he seemed strong, but now he's just ordinary," Ebisu said.
Almost all of the fourth graders attended the special training, and even if they hadn't seen Might Guy fight, they knew his abilities from the test rankings.
Hyuga Kamon didn't attack recklessly again. He wanted to use his strong insight to find an opening in Might Guy's defense.
But as Hyuga Kamon looked to slow the pace, Might Guy wasn't planning to waste time with him.
Suddenly, Hyuga Kamon noticed Might Guy's speed increased dramatically, appearing right in front of him almost instantly.
"Leaf Strong Whirlwind!" Might Guy's Chakra erupted, using Soru to appear swiftly in front of Hyuga Kamon and launched a quick kick.
"So fast!" Hyuga Kamon barely had time to think before being fiercely kicked and sent flying.
Even though Hyuga Kamon still had the will to fight and quickly got up after falling, Might Guy didn't give him a chance. In the next moment, he flashed in front of Hyuga Kamon and delivered a heavy punch.
Already dizzy from the kick, Hyuga Kamon couldn't react in time and was knocked down again. This time he couldn't get up quickly, and Might Guy pressed a Kunai against his body.
"Might Guy wins!" The proctor announced Might Guy's victory.
"As expected, he lost almost without putting up a fight," the outcome was as Shiranui Genma predicted.
"Among the fourth graders, only Obito might have a chance; after all, that guy occasionally beats Guy," Ebisu thought out loud.
"Why not just ask their classmates? They should have fought once already," Shiranui Genma looked around, trying to find someone familiar from the summer training.
Shiranui Genma saw Nohara Rin, with Obito standing beside her, seemingly chatting about something.
Shiranui Genma was a bit hesitant to go over and ask directly in front of them about their loss, thinking it might be awkward.
But as Obito's match was about to start, Shiranui Genma couldn't hold back his curiosity and went over anyway, dragging a reluctant Ebisu along.
"Aren't there only about a dozen people in the grade's practicals? It won't be long before it's their turn. Why not just watch directly," Ebisu thought it was pointless.
Ignoring Ebisu's words, Shiranui Genma took Ebisu over to greet Nohara Rin.
