"Today we start the final training in the Constant State, maintaining the Breathing Technique all day," Mokgetsu said.
The most important thing about the Constant State is being able to maintain the Breathing Technique for twenty-four hours. Now, Obito and Kakashi have raised their breathing limit but haven't truly completed the Constant State training.
"Is it Full Concentration or just normal breathing?" Obito scratched his head and asked.
If it was Full Concentration, he wouldn't be able to last an hour doing nothing, let alone a whole day.
"Normal breathing will do, and you don't need to do too much training," Mokgetsu replied with a smile.
The Concentrated Breathing in Constant State is relatively focused, different from the extremely focused breathing during combat. Obito and others haven't started all-day breathing cultivation and need to cycle progressively.
Hearing this, Kakashi nodded. Even though he hasn't fully recovered, he can participate in the training.
"This sounds pretty simple," Obito chuckled, thinking this was the relaxing training after the Chunin Examination.
"Of course, to urge you, if you can't maintain the breathing state, each break requires you to do a question. If you don't resume within ten minutes, you'll add another question," Mokgetsu stated the training rules.
Although his disciples are diligent, the punishment rules are necessary to make them feel urgency.
The others are hard to say, but Obito and Might Guy are very susceptible to this.
After hearing Mokgetsu's words, Obito's smile instantly disappeared, gradually becoming serious. His premonition seemed correct — it was another dreaded question training.
Although Mokgetsu's questions helped him achieve good results in the Chunin Examination, this doesn't make Obito enjoy doing questions. Just thinking of those test papers makes his head spin.
"Training is tough," Might Guy expressed as if facing a formidable enemy. Despite his diligence, he hasn't maintained the breathing state all day.
If Might Guy had to do questions, he would rather fight the Hidden Cloud Jonin for another hour.
Under Mokgetsu's arrangement, all disciples except Nohara Rin began the final Constant State training.
Nohara Rin's exposure to the Breathing Technique is still too short. Her Breath of Water hasn't even reached the entry level, and the Constant State cultivation is too early for her.
Moreover, Nohara Rin's training focus is on Medical Ninjutsu. Her role in the team is more about healing. Given the power of her Ninjutsu right now, using it in battle isn't as effective as using Chakra for healing.
Unfortunately, the day the Chunin Examination ended, his visit to Tsunade with Nohara Rin didn't succeed in entrusting Nohara Rin to Tsunade.
Otherwise, given Nohara Rin's talent in Medical Ninjutsu, she would have learned a lot from Tsunade.
It's not that Tsunade looks down on Nohara Rin, but rather Tsunade has matters to attend in the Capital of the Land of Fire, so she can't teach her now.
Although he really doesn't want to do questions, Might Guy didn't change his training plan. After all, cultivating strength is ultimately for oneself.
However, it's very challenging to perfectly complete the first cultivation. After two hours, the first person who couldn't maintain the breathing appeared.
"Kakashi, once," the Shadow Clone responsible for monitoring Kakashi noted down.
"Kakashi, can you manage? How long has it been, and you already stopped," Obito immediately mocked upon hearing.
"It's just one question. Do you think I'm like you? Even ten questions wouldn't bother me," Kakashi gasped, speaking with a calm expression.
He's constantly trying to enter the Transparent World, where each attempt requires focusing his breathing to the extreme. Even without much training, the consumption is particularly high, and even periodic rest isn't very effective.
Kakashi feels he's very close to truly entering the Transparent World, so he's fixated on mastering it, temporarily setting aside even Armament Aura.
If Mokgetsu knew Kakashi's thoughts, he would tell Kakashi that he's not wrong.
In Mokgetsu's evaluation, Kakashi's proficiency in the Transparent World had reached ninety points. Just ten more points to truly master it.
"You just keep pretending. You'll regret it alone when it comes to doing questions," Obito smirked, thinking Kakashi was just being stubborn.
Kakashi didn't argue much with Obito. After resting a few minutes, he re-entered the breathing state.
Once his body recovered, he still had to challenge Shisui. It's been some time since the disciples had an internal battle, so he's unsure of Shisui's current strength. To defeat Shisui, Kakashi would strengthen himself as much as possible during this period. Improving one's strength is always right.
Soon, two and a half hours later, the second person who couldn't maintain the breathing appeared, and it was Obito who mocked Kakashi earlier.
Kakashi didn't say anything, merely glanced at Obito and chuckled.
"The Breath of Flame Chakra Mode is really exhausting," Obito blushed slightly and explained loudly.
Originally, there wasn't much issue, but he just practiced some Flame Charge and those Nin-Taijutsu, consuming too much and thus breaking the breath.
Everyone was busy cultivating, and no one responded. Obito rested for a few minutes and re-entered the breathing state.
After five hours of cultivation, the inability to maintain the breathing increased, and everyone had to concentrate fully just to barely persist.
