After the facilities necessary for the Martial Arts Tournament were completed, Mokgetsu announced the news of Hanzo attending and the various aspects of the Youth Martial Arts Tournament.
The Youth Martial Arts had gone through several rounds of promotion, and those interested had been waiting for specific information about the event. Once the news was released, people who wanted to participate or watch the event rushed to the Land of Rain.
In Konoha, besides the geniuses personally approached by Sarutobi Hiruzen, there were some young ninjas who wanted to participate in the tournament to broaden their horizons.
After all, the registration fee was only 68,900 ryo, which was a small amount for a ninja. Even if they couldn't win a prize, they could still catch a glimpse of the legendary Ninja Master Sosuke.
Thinking about how leading one team or two wouldn't make a difference, Sarutobi Hiruzen gathered the other interested ninjas and had Mokgetsu lead the team to the Land of Rain.
"It's impressive how quickly you've all advanced in ninja level, even Shisui has become a Jonin," Asuma couldn't help but remark, still at the Chunin level.
When he graduated, it was the time Shisui entered the academy, and yet now Shisui is a Jonin while he's still a Chunin; the speed of promotion was simply absurd.
"Hehe, I'll tell you our secret to advancing," Obito chuckled.
Asuma instantly became interested, and Yuhi Kurenai along with Namiashi Raido also turned their ears towards Obito.
"First, defeat a member of the Seven-Swords Ninja, then complete some S-level tasks, and that's it," Obito replied.
Asuma and his team: ...
If they encountered the Seven-Swords Ninja and still got promoted to Jonin, they wouldn't be alive, and besides the present Hidden Mist no longer has the Seven-Swords Ninja, only two members.
The Hidden Mist showed no intention for peace, and Konoha certainly wasn't going to return the ninja blades. In fact, to prevent them from being reclaimed by special means, the seized ninja blades remained sealed.
Without the ninja blades, they couldn't have new members, so the Hidden Mist might just have two members for a long time unless they are willing to forge new ninja blades.
"The secret is great, but it's a bit overkill," Asuma couldn't help but pat Obito on the back.
"But with a few of you participating, we might take all the rewards for Konoha. I wonder if the Ninja Sect will mind."
Asuma knew how insanely strong Obito and the others were. Despite all his hard cultivation, the gap between them only grew larger.
Back when Obito joined the special training with him, Obito was only slightly better, but by the Chunin Examination, Obito could crush him.
Although Asuma hadn't seen Obito in action lately, Obito assisting Kakashi in killing Suikazan Fuguki from the Seven-Swords Ninja was enough to prove his strength.
"As long as we don't unluckily bump into our own folks, we'll certainly rank high," Obito said confidently.
The myriad tasks and experiences on the battlefield had filled Obito with confidence.
"Don't underestimate other ninjas in the Ninja World; the restriction for the Youth Martial Arts is that those over eighteen can't participate, not those over twelve or eleven," Kakashi reminded.
Though Kakashi wasn't arrogant, he was also not modest. He never denied that he was a genius among ninjas.
But Kakashi didn't think he could dominate everyone aside from Mokgetsu's disciples in the Youth Martial Arts, as he was still too young, only eleven years old.
The other contestants might not be as genius as he was, but they had seven more years of cultivation, so who knows who would be stronger or weaker.
"Kakashi, do you have any intel?" Obito curiously asked.
Obito also understood the age factor, so he didn't speak too confidently, only mentioning possible high placements, not necessarily taking the top two or four spots.
"A bit, but not much," Kakashi shook his head in response.
There were very few ninjas who became famous in the Ninja World around the age of eighteen, and the previous batch of famous ninjas around that age had already surpassed eighteen, such as Namikaze Minato.
"So you don't know either, yet you act all-knowing," Obito teased.
He disliked Kakashi showing off, especially in front of Nohara Rin.
Kakashi chuckled without saying anything.
Since the Ninja Sect's base wasn't too far from Konoha, Mokgetsu chose a later departure time.
By the time Mokgetsu led the team to Six Paths City, the city was bustling with activity, and there were ninjas on the streets with various headbands.
However, every ninja here had their own purpose, and only a few fools would come looking for trouble, but they were swiftly handled by the Ninja Sect ninjas, making it appear harmonious.
"So many people, and even enemy village ninjas," Obito exclaimed.
It was his first time seeing so many different ninjas from villages at the same time; looking across he saw so many different headbands.
In terms of numbers, the Ninja Squad had more ninjas, creating a more spectacular sight, but all of them wore the same headband, which was a different scene altogether.
"It shows the Ninja Sect's capabilities," Kakashi commented.
Given the current situation in the Ninja World, getting so many village ninjas together peacefully was no easy task.
Even with just one or two small squads of ninjas, clashes were common.
After sorting out accommodations, Kakashi and the others formed a team to register.
The guidance provided by the Ninja Sect for registration was done well, allowing Kakashi and his team to easily find the Youth Martial Arts registration spot.
However, seeing the gathered crowd, Kakashi thought even without guidance, it would be easy to find, as the gathered crowd was massive, with not only participants but also the entourages.
"It's Hoshigaki Homen from the former Hidden Mist," Might Guy spotted a Hidden Mist ninja in the crowd with a vague impression.
