"First round, Player One, Hatake Kakashi versus Player Two, Uekaga Daisuke." The referee glanced at the list in hand and quickly announced.

Upon hearing his name, Kakashi used the Instant Body Jutsu to arrive at the battlefield.
Uekaga Daisuke, hearing his opponent was Lighting Fang Kakashi, was momentarily stunned. Only upon the second call of his name did he nervously walk to the battlefield.
"What a rotten draw, making me fight Lighting Fang," Uekaga Daisuke cursed silently.
"The battle begins!" Seeing the competitors were ready, the referee shouted.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh!!
Uekaga Daisuke quickly pulled shuriken from his Ninja Pouch and flung them towards Kakashi.
Though Lighting Fang Kakashi had killed the Seven-Swords Ninja, standing in the battlefield, Uekaga Daisuke couldn't just surrender.
Clang clang!!
Kakashi lightly waved the White Fang and knocked down all the shuriken, then concentrated his breath for an explosive burst of speed.
Uekaga Daisuke only felt Kakashi suddenly speed up, and before he could make much movement, the next second, the White Fang Short Blade was against his neck.
"The gap is actually this wide..." Uekaga Daisuke's eyes widened in disbelief at this scene.
He knew he couldn't beat Kakashi, but he didn't expect to lose right after throwing just one set of shuriken; he thought it'd go for a couple of rounds at least.
"Player One, Hatake Kakashi wins." Seeing this, the referee immediately declared Kakashi's victory.
Kakashi sheathed his blade and walked out of the battlefield. He first entered Transparent World mode to glance at the current ninjas in the first zone. Finding none worth noting, he moved on to the second zone.
"Player One, Uchiha Obito wins."
Kakashi had just reached the second zone when he heard the referee announce Obito's victory.
An elated Obito left the battlefield, just in time to see Kakashi walking his way.
Obito's smile diminished slightly; he was just thinking about winning to cheer for Kakashi, but Kakashi finished sooner.
"I plan to check out the third, sixth, and seventh zones, you coming?" Kakashi invited.
These zones didn't have Mokgetsu's disciples; Kakashi wanted to observe and see if there were ninjas worth noting.
Zones with Mokgetsu's disciples didn't need much observation; they could exchange information by nightfall.
"No, I want to go to the fourth zone," Obito declined.
Kakashi thought the second zone might need occasional observation too, as Obito didn't look like he'd gather much intel.
"That Hidden Mist Ninja," Upon reaching the third zone, Kakashi saw the battle involving Hozuki Mangetsu.
Kakashi stopped to watch Hozuki Mangetsu's performance, as his Chakra wasn't weak.
"Fall before me!" The Hidden Rock Ninja, brandishing a longsword, charged at Hozuki Mangetsu.
However, Hozuki Mangetsu remained unmoved, standing with a faint smile watching the charging ninja, allowing the sharp blade to stab into his body.
"He turned into water?" The Hidden Rock Ninja was shocked to find Hozuki Mangetsu transformed into a water figure.
The Hidden Rock Ninja quickly withdrew the sword; the spot on Hozuki Mangetsu's body healed rapidly as if nothing happened.
Unbelieving, the Hidden Rock Ninja tried to attack again, only for Hozuki Mangetsu to form his hand into a gun shape and aim.
"Water Cannon Jutsu!"

A liquid, like a bullet, shot out, sending the Hidden Rock Ninja flying to the ground.
"Hozuki Mangetsu wins!"
Afterwards, Hozuki Mangetsu noticed Kakashi as he left the battlefield. In the Youth Martial Arts Tournament, ninjas with Kakashi's build were few, and his rare white hair made him noticeable.
"You seem to be Blazing Sun Mokgetsu's disciple?" Hozuki Mangetsu asked Kakashi.
"That's right," Kakashi nodded in acknowledgment.
Being Mokgetsu's disciple was a source of pride for Kakashi, there was no need to lie about it.
"Then I wasn't mistaken, don't lose before the elimination rounds, Hatake Kakashi," Hozuki Mangetsu provocatively remarked.
Kakashi remained calm; it was normal for the Hidden Mist Ninja to bear grudges since the Jinchuriki from the Mist was dealt with by Konoha.
Moreover, if he recalled correctly, Mokgetsu had once killed a strong opponent named Hozuki Zangetsu on the East Coast battlefield, perhaps connected to Hozuki Mangetsu.
"You're probably curious inside; I'm not petty, so I'll be straightforward: Hozuki Zangetsu is my uncle," Hozuki Mangetsu clarified with a sigh.
"Though we didn't meet often, he was indeed my uncle."

Not wanting the hassle, Kakashi said no more and quickly headed to the sixth zone.
"Player Three, Sunagani versus Player Four, Ueda Shou!"
The first match in the sixth zone was slightly delayed; when Kakashi arrived, it was only at the second match of the first round.
"So his name is Sunagani," Kakashi paused to watch the match.
The ninja named Sunagani was one of those who caught Kakashi's attention in Transparent World mode, possessing powerful Chakra within.
"The battle begins!"
As soon as the referee's words fell, Ueda Shou sprang into action, drawing his sword and charging at his opponent.
Facing the charging Ueda Shou, Sunagani calmly drew a Kunai to counter.
Due to the significant difference in strength, Ueda Shou quickly exposed a flaw and was kicked to the ground by Sunagani.
Just as Ueda Shou attempted to quickly rise and continue the fight, he was suddenly shocked to find his body moving on its own.
