Three minutes passed since riko placed his hand on the awakening crystal but nothing happened.
Riko thought that as a transmigrator his awakening would be flashy or that was the last ray of hope he was clinging to. He could only sigh in his heart. 'Well I guess it is expected. Even if I am a transmigrator at the end of the day I am just a background character. Hell i don't even qualify as a friend of a background character.'

Tatsumi wanted go her brother and speak to him but didn't know what she should say. Before she could think further she heard her aunt's voice "Tatsumi-chan, I came a long way just to see you awaken, though that idiot wasted a lot of time."
Homura voice but not too loud but commanding "Tatsumi, go there and place your hand on the awakening crystal."
Meanwhile riko went to a corner of the Hall away from the others and stood there quietly with a small smile on his face as if feeling relieved.
Hearing her father's voice tatsumi walks to the awakening crystal. Even in front of the awakening crystal she has only one thought,
'If I awaken, the distance between me and my brother will only keep growing but if I fail to awaken then maybe we could get a little closer. Then I don't want to awaken. Please don't let me awaken.'
With these thoughts in mind tatsumi places her hand on the awakening crystal the next second the black awakening crystal turns transparent and a blinding light comes from the crystal meaning she has successfully awakened with an innate skill. She opens her status panel which is only accessible to her and checks her innate skill.
Flame Emperor : Grants the trait of fire to the mana of user.
The skill description does not even have a single line but the power of this skill is immense. There are very few innate skills that can be inherited through bloodline and flame emperor is one of them. The skills that provide trait to mana are extremely rare. Flame emperor skill converts the user's mana into fire element mana. Which means even regular attacks have fire element and the speed of casting fire element skills would be two times as fast. And the damage is incresed by three times and the user also has fire resistance. And the flame emperor skill can be advanced further.
Even after awakening such a skill tatsumi does not feel happy she simply turn to her father and says "I have awakened the innate skill flame emperor."
Hearing this Tatsumi's parents became really happy and relieved. Hintata congratulates tatsumi and her aunt karin mocks riko again "Amazing tatsumi. You are the true heir to Akatsuki family unlike a certain someone."
"Tatsumi, come with us." Hearing that tatsumi follows homura and hinata out of the room. Before leaving she glances at riko's face. She wanted to say something but no words came out of her mouth.
Seeing them leave riko also walks towards the door to leave the hall but he stops hearing his aunt karin's voice "Hey trash, got a minute. I need to talk to you." Saying that,she takes riko out of the hall.
Left alone in the hall hinata and lily look at each other for a second. Lily bows suddenly, startling hinata and leaves the hall leaving hinata alone in the vast hall.
