Chapter 316 - Chapter 200: Can We Hold Out Until We Die of Old Age

"Understood."

On the Death Star, Lily hung up the phone and waved her hand for her subordinates to take the Radio Snail away.

Marika smiled and said, "Just three days, that's really fast."

They were all prepared to wait here for a month or even longer, ready to sail around the nearby seas and surrounding islands.

Unexpectedly, in just three days, Sage called, and he had already reached the Royal City...

How did he get across?

"Abilities..."

Lily pondered and said, "Only this miracle can do it."

All the unknowns and miracles at sea can be explained by abilities.

Reaching the Royal City so quickly after crossing the sea could only be due to abilities.

It wasn't explicitly stated over the Radio Snail, but one could guess it.

"Follow Sage's plan."

Lily looked around and said, "Marika, you land from the north and head to the Royal City. No matter what, Sage came out of Impel Down and reached here, he must not have eaten much, you as a cook can be of service."

"No problem," Marika said cheerfully.

"Hawkins, you should go too. Sage might need your divination ability. Renedia, stay on the ship; I need your power."

Lily glanced at the eager Renedia but decided to keep her on the ship.

With her here, this ship can achieve the fastest speed.

"I'm fine with that."

Hawkins drew a few Tarot Cards and said plainly.

The success rate of the operation was too high, so high that he didn't even want to mention it. This plan was guaranteed to succeed.

"Bellamy, you go with them. The rest stay on the ship; we're heading to the southern port city of 'Selfbri' to rob and wait for Sage to arrive."

This was Sage's plan.

After knowing where they were and knowing the basic information about this country, Sage gave the order.

He was already in the Royal City; there's no reason for a thief to leave empty-handed. Since he's here, why not rob a few more places?

The Death Star moved to a landing point instead of docking in Novbri. Since the destination was the Royal City, there was no need to tangle with the reassembled guards in that city.

"Use this, use this!"

Renedia had her crew bring out motorcycles from the ship's hold, saying, "I made ten of them; use them all!"

The area of Sisomia is only slightly smaller than Alabasta. For those on the ship, circling the island wouldn't be too slow, it would definitely take one or two days to go from north to south, but it's hard to say on land.

Of course, tools are needed for transportation; otherwise, walking would take forever.

Whether from the north or the south, reaching the central Royal City and returning means crossing the entire Kingdom, and walking would be too time-consuming.

These motorcycles, which Renedia called 'Round Cycle', can hold nine people each, ten of them total ninety, which is plenty.

Lily pointed to a group of Demon Race members to ride the motorcycles, leaving trails of dust on the ground as they sped towards the Royal City.

Meanwhile, the Death Star, the Black Ship, prepared to circle the large island heading to the southern city.

...

Inside the Royal Palace.

In the half-collapsed great hall, a large amount of food was being pushed over by chefs with trolleys.

A dining table was moved into the great hall, and food was placed on it by trembling soldiers acting as waiters, allowing Sage, sitting at the head, to dine.

"Why put it so far away? My arms aren't that long, move it closer!"

Sage picked up a piece of meat with his knife and fork, stuffing it into his mouth while shouting at the soldiers.

The soldiers shivered and cautiously nudged the plates of food closer, but only slightly, as if there was a ferocious beast at the front that they dared not approach.

Sage rolled his eyes and simply leaned forward, pulling the plate of fried vegetables closer, devouring them in a few bites, then suddenly paused and said lightly:

"Haven't had enough of a lesson yet..."

Buzz!

Behind him, a group of chefs who had just delivered the food and intended to take advantage of the opportunity to drag away the unconscious King, suddenly shuddered and rolled their eyes, fainting on the ground.

Now, beside the unconscious King lay about a dozen people.

All of them were trying to be clever, attempting to rescue the King.

In front of him at the entrance to the great hall, many soldiers lay collapsed.

These soldiers had just attempted to storm into the great hall to take out Sage.

Outside the great hall, many people gathered, but none dared to approach, only standing outside the door, so numerous they were uncountable.

Sage continued to eat rapidly until all the food on the table turned into empty plates, then picked up the rum, poured a glass, and drank it in one gulp.

"The taste is alright."

He smacked his lips and said, "It's such a waste to be a chef here; why not come aboard with me? Being a pirate can be really fun."

Just after he spoke, he shook his head as if all the chefs behind him were all shaken unconscious by him.

"What exactly are you planning, Calamity!"

In the great hall, aside from the soldiers acting as waiters, there was still one Guard Captain standing there.

His name was Sphinx, and he was the one who told Sage the current location.

"There are fifty thousand soldiers in the Royal City; there's no way you can escape!"

Sphinx shouted, "I know you're strong, but no matter how strong, you can't take on so many people. Release His Majesty the King, and I can negotiate with the outside. You release the King, and we'll let you go. How about it?"
