Chapter 324 - Chapter 204: I Don't Understand Sailing? You Don't Understand Sage

"The realm of the Underworld spans all over the world, with their presence everywhere. This place is no exception."

Lucci said, "Du·Feld is nicknamed the 'God of Fortune', a very influential guy."

Nami widened her eyes, stared at Lucci, and exclaimed, "Why are you here too?!"

"Rob Lucci!"

Robin took half a step back but then glanced at Sage, frowned and said, "Why are you together?"

One is a person who escaped from Impel Down, and the other is a special agent of the World Government. It doesn't make sense for them to be together.

Or is it...

"Sage, could it be you..." Robin's eyes revealed disbelief.

He is a survivor of O'hara, and he also has Pluton...

No one can escape from Impel Down, but now he's not only out, but with Lucci.

Could it be that Sage has defected to the World Government?!

"Oh, this guy was unlucky and got delisted, so he came to me and is now my high-ranking officer."

Sage patted Lucci's back and laughed heartily.

He didn't give Robin a chance to overthink.

No matter what it is, just clarify face to face, one is one, two is two, why bother with so many twists and turns.

"So, what's up with Du·Feld?"

After speaking, he turned to Dorong and asked, "If I robbed him, shouldn't he pay?"

Those eyes were clearly just inquiring, but to Dorong, they brimmed with danger, like a ferocious beast ready to devour.

People are indeed different...

The most dangerous act of the Straw Hat was destroying Enies Lobby, and even that wasn't done alone; half the blame lies with this Disaster.

Compared to the Straw Hat, the Disaster is far more dangerous.

After all, the former hasn't been known for robbery, the latter...

Has killed several kings!

To him, the World Government is nothing at all.

"After all, he is the God of Fortune, and aside from him, other 'emperors' have a stake here, you..."

Dorong couldn't finish his words as Sage's gaze made him instinctively stop talking.

"You need to understand, I'm not negotiating with you. You're just an employee, you don't have the authority to make decisions. If the big shots don't show up, do they make you, the small fry, take the heat? Call him, have him come talk to me."

Sage walked over to the warm water swimming pool, directly submerged himself up to his chest, leaned back on the pool's edge, comfortably tilting his head up.

Dorong stood there frozen, brain a muddle, completely unable to react until a cold voice sounded in his ear.

"Do you want to die?"

Lily, wearing a white swimsuit resembling a dress with a small skirt at the hips, seemed to cover her exceptionally perky rear, causing a ripple at the chest while she moved.

A scantily dressed female pirate, holding the White Thunder sword respectfully stood behind her, and as Lily reached out, she grasped the hilt of White Thunder, staring at the bespectacled man with a haggard eight-character beard, who looked somewhat lewd.

The chilling aura akin to a blade's edge, gradually invaded Dorong, making him feel cold and experience phantom pain akin to being slashed.

As if death loomed the next second!

"Yes! I'll go right away!"

Dorong shivered and scampered off promptly.

Watching his figure hastily depart, Lily released her grip and walked behind Sage, saying, "Are you okay with this?"

"No problem."

Sage tilted his head upward, but from this angle, he could only see the white jelly-like mountains, not Lily's face.

"Still got some strength; not entirely powerless... I guess seastone is similar, quite nice."

When an Ability User enters the water, they typically feel powerless, but it depends on the person.

For the strong, its threat isn't too significant. Sage wasn't sure how much the change was for other strong users when entering water, but for himself, the impact seemed minimal.

"The effect of Life Return?" He lifted a hand from the water, a smile gradually emerging.

"Lily, come down, come down and feel the warm water... You know, even in the cold, being in a hot spring has its unique charm. If it snowed, it'd be perfect." Sage chuckled.

Lily: "..."

She turned to the female pirate beside her: "Send a group down, guard the ship well. If a blizzard or a bigger storm comes, make sure the ship doesn't capsize."

"Yes, Lady Lily." The pirate nodded, about to leave, when another voice emerged.

"There won't be a storm."

Nami approached and said, "The climate and wind direction are fine. This sea area, though transitional between autumn and winter, is relatively cool and stable. However, clouds do appear periodically here."

She puffed out her chest, causing a surge, "This hot spring is heated from below, but there's no reason for the heat to appear out of nowhere. There must be a volcano underneath, thus it's here that there's a hot spring. The heat evaporates, creating rain clouds, which will produce the unique... candy rain!"

"Volcano?"

Listening to Nami's words, Lily quickly squatted down, dipped her hand in the pool water, and her face turned grave, "Alert everyone, board the ship immediately!"

"Hey, are you really a navigator? The underwater volcanoes are obviously deeper in the sea; otherwise, if they erupted, this place would already have a land base, not just heat. You're evacuating? Volcanoes won't erupt, you don't even know basic navigation knowledge? As a navigator, you clearly don't understand." Nami said in confusion.

She knew Lily, after all, Robin was on their ship, and sometimes during idle chats, Robin would share about her 'brother', as well as some people onboard the Disaster Pirates.

After all, they're on the wanted list.

But seeing it now...

Nami's mouth curved up, displaying a confident smile.

A bounty of 160 million doesn't always imply superiority over her 16 million.

Though she doesn't like being on the wanted list...

"You don't understand Sage." Lily calmly replied.

She'd just arrived here and hadn't interacted with the water yet, so she hadn't thought too much at first. Now, based on experience, the 'little thief cat' was right.

However...

Understanding navigation doesn't matter much; understanding Sage is what counts.

The weather, geography, climate—none of that matters against Sage's misfortune.

After all, Alabasta once erupted in a storm...

Sage disappeared for a week, and during that week, they lived in peace and even managed to rob merchant ships as true pirates should.

After Sage returned, half a month later, they reverted back to looting towns due to the lack of merchant ships, and that familiar storm...

"Hey! It won't erupt, do you have to act like this!"

Sage's forehead beaded with black lines, "I just came for a vacation, not some disaster striking! Old Ho, Old Ho, get your Tarot Cards out, quickly do some divination, then draw a Dark Archmage for me!"

"Call me Hawkins, and it's divination, not fortune-telling. I can't draw some Dark..."

Hawkins wore an open short-sleeved shirt revealing his chest, with knee-length shorts, holding a drink from the nearby bar and approaching.

"I performed a divination when I came up; I agree with you, this place is destined to be destroyed."

"'Magician' Basil Hawkins!"

Robin exclaimed, "You followed Sage too?"

"Not 'also', I followed long before Rob Lucci did."

Hawkins shook his head, "Son of the Demon Nico Robin, if you look closely, you do have some resemblance to Sage."

"Could relatives not look alike? What do you mean destined for destruction? I'm not one to destruct randomly, I follow rules!" Sage shouted, displeased.

Pirates have codes of conduct!

If Sage promises, he never goes back on his word!

Until that manager gives him an answer, he's just waiting here. Even if it's declined, he'd only rob this place's revenue, never causing random destruction.

Boom!

As soon as he finished speaking, an explosion suddenly occurred on a corner of this resort's platform, shaking the pool water violently.

Not far ahead, a blue-haired guy revealed a cannon barrel on his wrist, still smoking.

And outside the platform, a rubber arm extended, grabbed the platform, and with a contraction, a boy wearing a straw hat swung over, one hand holding the hat, the other limbs spread wide, grinning foolishly.

"Straw Hat!"

Lucci's pupils revealed a ferocious glare.

Nami blinked her eyes and suddenly sighed helplessly, rubbing her forehead.

It's not just the Disaster Pirates causing havoc...

They cause havoc too.
