Chapter 716 - Chapter 434: Starting With You

Compared to the four hundred million little pirate, the one before us is the real formidable enemy.

The Fur Race... a single one of them is nothing.

But he just said 'we'...

This term is quite interesting, and recently, there's a rumor spreading across the sea.

It's about the Fur Race starting to engage in large-scale activities at sea, expanding from Zou and plundering all ships on their route.

Whether they're merchants or pirates, none escape once encountered by them.

Baron Egg knows a bit about the Fur Race; he believes this race doesn't need external materials and is very secluded. But doing this suddenly, there must be something he's unaware of behind it.

What he originally knew as important intel, now feels useless to Baron Egg.

Because both sides have made phone calls.

"Sa, Sage?"

Nami suddenly felt dizzy.

Before she could react to the anger of the treasure being taken, she discovered two Pirate Emperors...

It seems there's no getting the treasure back now.

Although that's Robin's brother, their encounter two years ago wasn't much about sentimentality.

...

O'hara, a certain beach.

Sage lay on a beach chair, wearing sunglasses and a bare upper body, basking in the sunlight.

Beside him was a small table, where Bella stood nearby in a maid's outfit that revealed only a cool swimsuit underneath, with her hands crossed in front.

Sage took up a wine glass, swirled it, and drank in one go. Bella then picked a chilled wine bottle from an ice bucket at her feet, opened it, and poured another glass.

From the shallow sea before him, Marika emerged with a splash in a white low-cut high-slit one-piece swimsuit, her body surged with the sea waves.

She shook her wet black hair, water droplets danced from her strands and landed back on her skin, shimmering in the sunlight.

On the other side of the beach, Lily dressed more conservatively in a two-piece swimsuit, the top resembling a short sleeve, paired with black swim trunks, maintaining an Iaido stance, listening intently to the sea.

Shing!

A flash of white light shone from her waist as she drew the sword, and despite the tight covering, no swaying part was left unescaped. Rather, the tighter it was, the better it accentuated her figure.

With one sword swing, the windswept sea ahead seemed momentarily still.

And on that narrow sword as wide as two fingers, it was no longer just an illusion created by speed, but a solid burst of lightning.

Shintaro's craftsmanship was undoubtedly solid, perfectly integrating the materials, enhancing the sword's quality, making White Thunder live up to its name, enabling real electricity discharge.

Though not yet infinitely discharging, the heavy sword's unique material enabled static electricity-like discharge through swinging, which Sage personally verified could absorb and discharge electricity if swung in time, with no endurance limit.

Now this White Thunder is not only a 'Skillful Grade Blade' but has evolved into a 'Demon Sword'.

Lily sheathed her sword almost simultaneously as Marika walked toward Sage.

As the two approached, Bella duly prepared refreshments, placing them on the side tables next to the beach chairs.

Marika picked up a clear glass, gently thanked Bella, and then asked Sage, "Would you like something to eat?"

"No, I'm not hungry yet."

Sage shook his head and said, "Did Renedia call?"

Marika chuckled, "I thought you'd never be the first to ask..."

"Two different things." Sage said, "I'm not worried about her getting into trouble, but routine inquiries are necessary."

"I'll check in a bit."

Lily sat on a beach chair nearby, knees together in an inward alignment, tying her hair into a high ponytail with a hair tie.

Renedia is not here this time; she took Weevil for goods, having been at sea for ten days already.

"Forget it, let's wait until the vacation is over, you rarely get a chance to play." Sage laughed, "Relax first."

He was indifferent, but Lily and Marika seldom took breaks; they're either managing internal affairs or logistics. If he hadn't insisted on them taking a vacation, they'd probably still be busy.

"Master Sage."

Just then, a scantily clad female pirate approached with a Radio Snail, saying, "Shishilian and Pedro just called, saying they encountered Big Mom Pirates at Fishman Island and don't know what to do, requesting to speak."

Upon hearing this, the three were startled.

Marika wondered aloud, "What are the Fur Race doing at Fishman Island?"

"Looting probably, they've made quite the name for themselves in the first half recently."

Lily glanced at the Radio Snail, "Should we call back?"

"Of course!"

Sage grinned, "Why wouldn't we call back, afraid of Charlotte Linlin? It's not like we haven't fought before!"

Originally, Sage intended for Shishilian and Pedro to remain as personal guards, but after touring O'hara with the Fur Race, finding nothing worth plundering here, he let some stay to experience different lifestyles while allowing Shishilian and Pedro to return, forming their own pirate group to carry out raids from Zou.
