R&D Layer.
Shhh!
A flash of light appeared on the wall, cutting it into several sections. As the wall shattered into pieces, Lily stepped out from the rubble, glanced around, and swung her sword again, slicing the walls inside and out of the corridor into bits.
The R&D layer was too vast, and she wasn't interested in following the established architecture to find her way. The corridors were too long, and she didn't know the way, so she decided to cut down everything in her path. Once it was flat, she could see clearly.
Even though she didn't know what the Mother Fire Seed was, it definitely wasn't these bizarre machines, at least it was related to fire.
The numerous obstacles crumbled like tofu under Lily's sword, swiftly destroying the surrounding walls, turning the area into an open space.
Her swordsmanship was exquisite; nothing aside from the walls was destroyed, ensuring some crucial unknown elements weren't accidentally obliterated.
After the surrounding walls were destroyed, Lily fixed her gaze on a large door ahead and walked straight towards it.
The surroundings didn't seem peculiar, but the door was much larger than the other visible doors, perhaps indicating something different.
She passed by neatly arranged instruments, walked a certain distance, then suddenly halted, furrowed her brows, and her sword flashed with a cold light, stabbing straight into the ground.
"Concealing and revealing!"
Dang!
The swiftly thrusting sword tip precisely touched an object emerging from the ground, and with a metallic clash, the shadow was pierced and flung away, falling to the ground, then quickly merging back into the floor. The floor rippled like water with its integration, turning the ground into a liquid-like state.
The object seemed to be swimming through water.
"Senor?"
Lily had seen this ability before.
Senor from the Donflamingo Clan. After the Flamingo's defeat, some people were captured, and before that, as Doflamingo's subordinate, they had contact with them during a disaster.
This phenomenon could only be Senor's ability, but...
At this point, she clearly saw the figure with its lower half merged into the ground and the upper half above it, evidently stunned.
"Jinbe?"
The person before her resembled a younger, miniature Jinbe, but with brown skin, a pair of black wings on his back, and flames igniting at the center of his back.
Just like...
"Lunarian?" Lily said seriously.
King, also known as Abel, was now part of their crew. She had heard King and Sage discussing this race.
A race from the Red Earth Continent, possessing immense adaptability with strong physiques and special racial abilities. With the flames on their backs, their defense significantly increases; when the flames disappear, their speed increases.
Due to this special physiology, they were bountied by the World Government. When the government captured this race, they would conduct experiments and even offered high bounties, even for clues.
Lunarian was understandable, but turning into a Lunarian, yet being Jinbe...
Boom!
As she contemplated, a noise suddenly erupted from the side, and Lily instinctively swung her sword, cutting open something resembling a soap bubble. As it burst, the thing exploded with force.
"Shockwave?"
Lily glanced over, "Kuma?"
Standing there was a small Bartholomew Kuma, with the same brown skin, black wings, and flames burning on the back.
And on the other side, with eyes emitting star-shaped pupils, a similarly dressed small Boa Hancock appeared.
Behind her footsteps echoed, holding a large sword, and a small Mihawk carrying a big sword coldly observed.
"I see."
Lily suddenly noticed the translucent green liquid on the little Boa Hancock's arm and said:
"The Seven Warlords were abolished, adding you few into the mix, relied on this here? You even possess abilities... Forget the Swim-Swim Fruit, Boa Hancock should still be alive. Do you have a unique ability, or is it identical?"
The small Boa Hancock held a heart shape in her hands, flashing a charming smile: "Sweet Breeze!"
Swoosh!
A heart emerged from her hands, expanding and blowing towards Lily.
Shhh!
Lily directly sliced the heart in half with one sword stroke, "Identical abilities, then it's not a Devil Fruit... Vegapunk created a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit? Genius indeed."
Vegapunk had accomplished many things, including applying Zoan-type Devil Fruits to items, and he didn't study it, yet someone else engineered Artificial Devil Fruits.
This included Momonosuke, the one they executed, the Peach Dragon Fruit he consumed wasn't Caesar's work, but Vegapunk's, a very sophisticated reproduction.
Now Zoan-type has been exhausted, turning into Paramecia-type...
Even though the host isn't dead, possessing similar abilities and this technology... Lily didn't think these disparate entities could be considered human.
"Four of you? What about Moriah, who was also among the Seven Warlords? Isn't he included? Along with Doflamingo and Crocodile, they are the most famous ones, right? Previous losers probably don't count, since Peacekeepers were made from Kuma."
Lily raised her sword, "With the Lunarian's talents, Paramecia-type abilities, and Peacekeeper technology... Very well, let's test you, see where you guys fall short compared to the real Seven Warlords."
Whoosh!
As her words just fell, the small Mihawk jumped up, slashing down with the large sword while pressing down a foot, his leg transforming into a sharp blade at that instant.
"Daz Bonez? Dice-Dice Fruit? I don't remember Mihawk being an Ability User, such a combination..."
Lily spun her body, her sword engulfed in Haki, directly swinging out a Haki Slash, hitting Mihawk in the chest and abdomen, sending him flying backward, dropping again.
"Even possessing Haki..."
Lily exclaimed: "It's not merely a creation so simple. With Haki, do you guys, such entities, even have hearts and emotions? Are you artificial humans like 'Blackfoot'?"
Mihawk's strength besides swordsmanship undoubtedly includes Haki; missing one makes him a formidable swordsman alone.
But the problem was, this artificial small Mihawk just blocked her slash using Armament!
They could actually create such technology; Vegapunk indeed was a genius.
She didn't think this was something the World Government could achieve, otherwise they'd have ruled the world long ago.
"Hmm?"
Just as she said this, she was startled again, her eyes casting beneath the ground, "The aura changed... Five of them, finishes quickly then."
Lily took a deep breath, sheathed the slender sword at her waist, "You aren't bad, but compared to us, there remains a gap."
