Bang bang bang bang!
A series of explosions burst from the massive wild boar, like a balloon popping, causing its skin to rupture from the inside and dissipate into the air.
Sage stretched his hand upwards and caught the huge container holding the brain steadily, then aimed in a direction and tossed it again.
The tremendous speed made the container like a black meteor, trailing a black path across the sky.
"Hey! Doing that will break it!"
Atlas, representing 'fury', exclaimed anxiously, "It's over, it was still salvageable just now!"
They had clearly escaped, and everyone got out too; it was the final step. She could have caught the brain container, yet at this moment, the reckless Pirate tossed it with such speed?
That glass dome couldn't withstand the impact brought by this speed!
Could the Great Pirate not even think of this detail?
While they could still survive without the 'Punk Record', they wouldn't be able to actively communicate with each other. But like this, the body would suffer damage.
The body that had already survived could not be harmed at this time because of this; this guy was too reckless!
Just as she finished speaking, the brain container that crashed into the ground suddenly halted steadily, as if it had been frozen in place.
Underneath the container, a graceful hand had caught the base, keeping it stable there.
Marika looked up at Sage in the sky, who was giving off a white flaming light, akin to a sun against the gloomy sky, and smiled: "Oh my, what a large head."
Near her, Hawkins and Urouge stood to her left and right.
Urouge looked up at the huge head inside the container and exclaimed, "A pure head... does such a thing exist?"
"A power, perhaps," Hawkins answered indifferently. "Only a power could grow so large, and it doesn't even look like a Giant's head."
Urouge thought for a moment and gave a quirky smile, "If it were placed in the Four Seas, perhaps a brain cult could be formed. It certainly looks quite divine."
As a Holy Professional, the former Pirates under them were all Holy Professionals. Some were benevolent, while some simply were a cult.
On the seas, there are many cults indeed.
Urouge actually is adept in various cult methods; such a large head, put in the Four Seas where Devil Fruits aren't apparent and are almost legendary, could easily use cult methods to amass wealth and control.
But these are low-level methods. At sea, one either becomes Navy or Pirate; that's the mainstream.
"Sage deliberately tossed it to me, signifying its importance, so let's take it back."
With a smile, Marika easily carried the brain container with one hand and headed towards the Death Star.
Hawkins and Urouge followed closely; since the item came down personally from the Captain, even if they didn't know whose brain it was, it must be something significant.
On this battlefield, with the Captain already in control of the entire situation, they didn't need to get involved further.
And Sage in the air, upon seeing Marika catch the brain container, regardless of whether the four figures were in shock, flashed once more, splitting into four shadowy traces with lightning speed, and sent them all flying with a single kick, faster than those below, crashing into the Death Star like meteors.
"Ugh... Huh?"
Atlas, being kicked away, reflexively hugged the fire in her chest to brace for impact, but upon hitting the deck, felt a distinct softness, like lightly landing after jumping, with no force of impact at all.
This caused her to open her eyes, puzzled, "Not injured?"
"That's the mightiest 'Four Emperors'."
Shaka sat up, covering the fire in his chest with one hand. His expression was hidden beneath a full-face helmet, but his steady voice carried a hint of relief:
"If he wanted to eliminate us, we wouldn't have made it here. Allowing us to land unscathed is something only someone with mastery over body techniques could accomplish. Surely, he's here to assist us."
Considering Sage's methods, knocking someone away yet ensuring a safe landing was child's play.
If he couldn't even manage this, his body techniques wouldn't have reached this level.
"The fire!"
Nusjuro saw the people were sent flying and began to chase, his rapid steps as if traversing entire islands in an instant, joined by the quick recovery of Peter retreating into the sand.
"Don't let them escape!"
As Nusjuro sprinted at incredible speed, almost stepping across islands in moments, Sage's voice resonated from above.
A glint of chill flashed from his spectacles, without looking up, he swung a blade, trailing cold air, towards the sky.
Bam!
As the blade reached upwards, it was met with a punch, scattering the cold air and shattering the frozen ice crystals produced by the swing.
Crack, crack...
Despite being just a fist, it was wedged against the sharp blade, causing Nusjuro's hand, holding the sword, to tremble slightly, making the Kitetsu I emit a mournful vibration.
The punch's force was overwhelming!
"Clearly it's body techniques..."
Nusjuro lifted his head in admiration, "Indeed, over the years, you're the first person I've seen to master body techniques to such a level."
Body techniques and swordsmanship each has its merits, but overall, in lethality, swordsmanship is unmatched. Body techniques emphasize comprehensiveness and physique, reaching deeper levels results in greater vitality.
