Although it felt kind of weird that a female Monster would also get charmed by Girl in Love, this wasn't the era of Kouhu Kingdom anymore; by the rules of the Duel, this kind of thing still happens.
Guess you could say Girl in Love doesn't care about gender and goes after men and women alike... No, maybe it's more accurate to say she even crosses races. Even if some Dragon Race or Demon showed up, they'd still fall for her.

Yugen discarded two cards from his hand to the Graveyard.

Until the girl stopped struggling, tear tracks still on her pretty face as she accepted this tragic fate...
