"Continuous Trap 'Cursed Evergreen Ivy', it has another effect." Yugen said, "When this card on the field is sent to the graveyard, Special Summon two 'Ivy Derivatives' in Defense Position on the opponent's field.
Furthermore, when an Ivy Derivative Special Summoned by this effect is destroyed, the controller of the Derivative takes 300 points of damage."
Mr. T glanced disdainfully at the plants rooting and sprouting on his field. Two small plants stood crookedly on his field, with three solitary green leaves, resembling a type of clover.

With a wave of Mr. T's hand, a face-down card appeared in his back row, ending the turn.
Yugen said, "My turn, draw a card."
Yugen held a Magic Card between his two fingers and revealed it.
"Magic Card 'Adversity's Treasure Scroll'. If there are Special Summoned monsters on the opponent's field, and no monsters exist on my field, draw two cards from the deck." (Original Card)
Yugen drew two cards, glanced at them, and immediately flipped one of them to reveal.
"Magic Card 'Burial Spell Treasure Scroll'. By removing three Magic Cards from the graveyard, draw two cards from the deck.
I remove the Magic Cards 'Adversity's Treasure Scroll', 'Angel's Charity', and 'Premature Burial' from play, and draw two cards."
Yugen drew two more cards.
Quickly replenishing his hand, Yugen followed with another Magic Card into the slot.
"Activate the Continuous Magic 'World Tree'."
Though it is a Continuous Magic, when activated, it has effects and movements similar to a field card. The entire ground under both parties shook, and a towering ancient tree sprang up.
A robust trunk and lush green leaves form a vast canopy that casts a large circular shadow on the ground.
"When 'World Tree' is present on the field, each time a Plant Race monster on the field is destroyed, place one 'Flower Indicator' on this card."
Yugen did not further elaborate, but Mr. T already took notice of this gigantic tree.
Though it now seems useless, this card is undoubtedly capable of exerting different uses by accumulating indicators, likely being exclusive to the Plant Race. It may unexpectedly become tricky.
Yugen said, "Moreover, the 'Carrot Man' destroyed last turn also has a special ability.
When Carrot Man exists in the graveyard, once per turn, by sending any Plant Race monster other than 'Carrot Man' from my hand or face-up on the field to the graveyard, this card can be Special Summoned from the graveyard."
Yugen inserted a card from his hand into the graveyard.
"I send a Plant Race monster from my hand to the graveyard and revive 'Carrot Man' from the graveyard!"
Though it can be used once per turn, it has an infinite regeneration ability. The magical plant warrior adorned with a carrot head and a body covered in carrots quickly returned from the graveyard to the field, forcefully clashing its carrot hands as if preparing for battle.

Thorns dance, as blood-red petals bloom, and at the stem, there seems to be a pair of red demon eyes. The thorns flying around are its deadly tendrils.

"Summoning an Upper-level Plant, huh." Mr. T scoffs, "But this plant is still no match for King Kong."
"Don't rush." Yugen casually revealed a card from his hand.
"Activate the Equipment Magic 'Power of the Guardian', and equip it to Rose Vine."
A layer of pale gold energy envelops the rose plant like a barrier, resembling a protective force field.
"The monster equipped with Power of the Guardian, each time it battles, can acquire a Mana Indicator." Yugen said, "The Attack Power of the equipped monster increases by 500 points for each indicator.
And when the equipped monster is destroyed in battle or by effect, one Mana Indicator can be removed as a replacement."
Mr. T said, "I see. Just by battling, the monster acquires indicators, and each time destruction in battle occurs, it can be replaced by removing an indicator. So even if the Attack Power still doesn't match King Kong, at least it stays unbeaten."
"Haha, though that may be, I don't plan to use such a slow tactic." Yugen laughed, "Rose Vine's effect is that at the start of its Battle Phase, if there are face-up Plant Race monsters on the opponent's field, it can attack additional times equal to the number of those Plant Race monsters."

Mr. T said, "And Rose Vine is equipped with Power of the Guardian, each battle increases its Attack Power by 500 points..."
In other words, by defeating the first Ivy Derivative, Attack Power increases by 500. By defeating the second, Attack Power increases by 1000. Thus, during the third attack targeting King Kong, Attack Power increases by 1500. Rose Vine's Attack Power now reaches 3700, completely overpowering King Kong.
Additionally, destroying Ivy Derivatives deals the controller 300 points of damage. With two Derivatives, that's an extra 600 damage.

A magic similar to Moon Book, yet differing from the tranquil, bluish style of Moon Book, this book features a red cover, with the sun obscured during the solar eclipse depicted at its center.
"Book of the Solar Eclipse turns all face-up monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position!" Mr. T said, "Neither a battle nor an effect destruction, so even Power of the Guardian can't make your monster immune to the effect.
Furthermore, when an equipped monster changes to face-down position, according to game rules, the monster's corresponding equipment must be destroyed."
He pointed at the rear-field Magic on Yugen's side.
