"Using the effect of the Telekinesis Perception Area, synchro summon with the excluded monster to the Telekinesis Race!"
Victor said.
"I will use the just excluded Level 2 Adjusted Monster 'Celestial Eye'!
Excluded Level 6 'Greatest Teleporter'! Star-Tuning!"
[2+6=8]
"Our last hope, the Demon of Telekinesis—
—Spiritual Realm Demon, summon!"
A Diwein-style ace, the Eight-Star Telekinesis Demon elder brother, entrusted with the Superpower Team's last opportunity, descends.
[Spiritual Realm Demon, Defense Power 2300]
"The monsters summoned by the effect of 'Telekinesis Perception Area' can only be in defense mode." Victor said, "But, I will then activate the effect of 'AD Changer' from the graveyard!
By removing 'AD Changer' from the game from the graveyard, I can change the position of a monster on the field.
I remove AD Changer from the graveyard, changing Spiritual Realm Demon to attack mode!"
[Spiritual Realm Demon, Defense Power 2300→Attack Power 2700]
"Oh, so this is the monster you entrusted the final blow to." Yugen smiled, "But this attack power still cannot surpass the 'Netherworld King Dragon - God of Judgment'. It will be defeated by Netherworld King Dragon in the next turn."
Victor hummed: "It's not over yet!
I will activate Continuous Magic 'Future Radiance'! By banishing a Telekinesis Monster from the graveyard from the game, as long as this card exists on the field, the attack power of all Telekinesis Monsters on your field increases by the excluded monster's level x200 points!
I will banish the 'Greatest Teleporter' that just returned to the graveyard as a synchro material again!"
Yugen: "The level of Greatest Teleporter is six..."
"Correct!" Victor said, "Therefore, the attack power of Spiritual Realm Demon increases by 1200!"
[Spiritual Realm Demon, Attack Power 2700→Attack Power 3900]
"Go, Spiritual Realm Demon!" Victor shouted, "With the fury of the three of us, turn the enemy to ashes!"
It was evident that indeed, they were quite aggrieved, as if all the fury of the Superpower Team so far was blasted out with a strike from the Spiritual Realm Demon. The Netherworld King Dragon - God of Judgment was pierced through the chest, the black flame gushing from the opening like burning blood, and the Netherworld King Dragon was shattered to pieces.
[Yugen, LP7000→ LP5900]
"The Superpower Team's counterattack!" The airplane-headed commentator shouted, "In the last critical moment, the Superpower Team's last round handed over the entrustment of two teammates, summoning the strongest ace, and for the first time in the duel finally successfully inflicted serious damage on contestant Yugen!
Could this be the horn of counterattack!?"
Victor: "The effect of Spiritual Realm Demon, when it destroys a monster by battle, it can restore the monster's original value of Life Points to itself!
Therefore I absorb the attack power of 'Netherworld King Dragon - God of Judgment' and convert it into Life Points!"
[Victor, LP4000→ LP6800]
Not only summoning a powerful big monster, successfully counterattacking, but even reversing the Life Points. At this time, Victor and the two teammates outside the field couldn't help but start feeling emotional.
There is an opportunity.
If they can grasp this rhythm, maybe they really can...
Victor took a deep breath, glanced at another card in his hand while speeding.
Trap Card "Telekinesis Reactor". This card can be activated if there is a Telekinesis Race Monster on your field, after the Telekinesis Race has fought with the opponent's monster, remove both monsters from the game together.
With this, even if the opponent summons a monster with attack power higher than the Spiritual Realm Demon, this card can resolve it. And their telekinesis deck has many means to summon back the excluded cards, undoubtedly profitable.
Moreover, the Spiritual Realm Demon itself has the ability to "pay 1000 Life Points and negate and destroy the Magic Trap effect targeting this card". In this way, the Spiritual Realm Demon has certain resistance in terms of effect and battle.
Moreover, his health has returned to 6800, such Life Points are not so easy for the opponent to kill.
"Cover one card, end the turn." Victor said.
The iron wall-like formation!
Victor felt that this wave had a big opportunity.
Yugen: "My turn, draw a card."
Yugen drew a card, then lazily played a card from hand.
"Activate Continuous Magic 'Royal Divine Hall'."
In the cloud-shrouded Celestial Sanctuary, a golden divine hall rose from the ground, standing tall amidst the clouds.
"When Royal Divine Hall is on the field, I can activate my Trap Cards in the turn they are set." Yugen said while already waving down two cards into the backfield, "I set two cards to the backfield."
Followed by Yugen has waved to flip a backfield card: "Activate the Trap Card 'Destruction Wheel'.
Destroy one monster on the field, both sides take damage equal to that monster's attack power!"
Victor: "!"
Destroy the monster on the field...
But he almost immediately responded: "However! When the Spiritual Realm Demon becomes the target of the opponent's card effect, it can nullify that effect by paying Life Points.
Even if you want to destroy my Spiritual Realm Demon it..."
"Ahahaha, it seems so, your ace is quite powerful too." Yugen laughed, "Then, the Destruction Wheel won't target your monster, and instead will destroy my own 'Celestial Sage Minerva'!"
Boom!
Minerva exploded into pieces with a loud bang, and the explosion's flames spread towards both parties.
"But by doing so you will take damage too!" Victor shouted, "My Life Points are higher than yours..."
But just as he said this he realized something, his pupils contracting as he seemed to become aware of something.
Right, in the previous turn when the opponent activated a Counterattack Trap, they used the effect of 'Celestial Sage Minerva' to retrieve a Counterattack Trap from the graveyard. That card seemed to be..."
"At this moment, activate the Counterattack Trap 'Hell's Cold Gun'!"
Sure enough, Yugen snapped his fingers, smiling.
"When damage other than battle damage is inflicted, Hell's Cold Gun can reflect the damage you would have taken back to the opponent.
Therefore, originally both of us would take the damage of Celestial Sage Minerva at this time, which is 2200 attack power, but now you take 4400 instead."
Victor: "Uagh!"
[Victor, LP6800→ LP2400]
Victor's D-Wheel rushed out of the flames, then gritted his teeth.
"But even so, it is just this amount of damage..."
However, he had not finished speaking when teammate Lina couldn't help but speak: "No, his aim is not just this damage itself..."
Yugen squinted his eyes.
"The final turn of the duel, let the audience see the ace of this 'Counterattack Angels' deck."
Victor's heart skipped a beat.
Ace?
Meaning...a power surpassing all the others that have appeared so far?
"First, because a Counterattack Trap was just activated, according to the effects of both Artemis and Motius, I draw one card each, and recover 1000 Life Points."
Yugen said.
"Then, when this card can be Special Summoned in the situation of successfully activating a Counterattack Trap, by sacrificing all the monsters on your field, this card can be Special Summoned.
Come forth—
—Judge Vortainis!!"
[Judge Vortainis, Attack Power 2800]
"And when it is Special Summoned using this method, it can destroy the opponent's cards on the field up to the number of Angel Race monsters sacrificed."
Victor: "!!!"
Number of Angels sacrificed...
Abundant Artemis and Celestial Saint Motius, a total of two angels were sacrificed...
"Correct." Yugen said faintly, "Therefore, destroy all your 'Spiritual Realm Demon' and the backfield Cover Card!"
Spiritual Realm Demon can only nullify Magic Trap effects targeted at the Telekinesis Race, powerless against Monster Effects. Not to mention, the effect of the Judge Vortainis doesn't even target.
Total destruction!
Everything on the field turned to nothing, and Victor stared blankly at his empty field, in a daze.
Victor: "..."
"Go."
Yugen said.
"Abundant Artemis, Judge Vortainis, direct attack."
[Victor, LP2400→ LP0]
