Chapter 66 - Chapter 66: Art Is Explosion

Compared to the anxious Slytherin, Gryffindor was much more cheerful, especially after seeing Rosier stomp out of the auditorium, they laughed even louder.

"George, is this the Nimbus 2000?"

After everyone from Slytherin had left, a dark-skinned boy with long dreadlocks eagerly moved next to the twins and urged, "What are you waiting for, let us see it."

His words immediately received approval from others, "Yeah, open it up and let us take a look."

"By Merlin's beard, this is probably the best broom at the moment. Even those professional teams might not have the Nimbus 2000."

However, facing everyone's urging, Fred and George had no intention of opening the package.

George looked disdainfully at the person next to him and said, "Hey, Lee Jordan, I'm Fred, haven't you recognized the two of us yet?"

"Sorry Fred, I can see..."

"No, I'm Fred."

Beside him, the real Fred hooked an arm around his shoulder and said, "You fell for such a simple trick? To be honest, I'm starting to doubt if you're really our best friend."

Poor Lee Jordan was completely stunned, looking at the two identical faces beside him, no matter how he stared, he couldn't find any differences.

They were definitely just copied.

"Alright Fred, George, I'm really sorry." Lee Jordan shook his head, took a deep breath, and said, "Whoever you are, can you let me have a look at the Nimbus 2000, just a glance.

I'm begging you."

Normally, Lee Jordan would have pointed at the twins' noses, scowled at their boring mischief, and thrown in a few slang insults.

But now he not only didn't do that, he even directly apologized, lowering his stance.

No choice, when under someone's roof, you have to bow your head. As a loyal Quidditch fan, the attraction of a new broom that hasn't been released yet was simply too great. If he couldn't see it, he would definitely lose sleep that night.

"What Nimbus 2000." Fred glanced at him and said, "I don't understand what you're talking about, we're clearly using the old Cleansweep Five."

"I know you want to keep it a secret..." Lee Jordan looked around and said, "But Slytherin's gone now, it's all our people around, just a peek won't hurt..."

Fred and George remained silent.

"Why don't we go back to the common room." Someone suggested, "It would be safe to look there."

"You can't do that..." Some young wizards from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw opposed, "We want to see too."

But no one cared about their thoughts now.

The Gryffindors swarmed around the twins and rushed out of the auditorium.

However, when they arrived in front of the Fat Lady's portrait, they found that Fred and George had disappeared.

"They must have run upstairs just now."

Lee Jordan was extremely aggrieved: "It's terrible, they are even guarding against their own people!"

By noon, the mood at the Slytherin table was still heavy.

They had spent the whole morning searching Hogwarts, but hadn't seen even a shadow of Fred and George, as if the two had vanished into thin air.

Additionally, those who sent letters home had no success either, and some irritable parents even yelled at them in response, telling them to focus more on their studies and stop thinking about unrealistic things.

Rosier was one of them.

"Nimbus 2000? I've got a Nimbus 2100, do you want one!"

He crumpled the letter in his hand, and just as he was about to throw it, he suddenly thought of something and held his hand back, angrily questioning, "Any news yet?"

People around looked at each other, all silent.

"Useless!"

Just as Rosier was about to flip the table, a Slytherin player hurried over.

"Captain, I found out."

Marcus Flint grinned, revealing a set of big teeth, and said, "I passed by the Quidditch Pitch and found the Gryffindor team there. They must be trying to secretly test the broom's performance while we're eating in the auditorium."

Rosier lifted his head.

Sure enough, the Gryffindor team wasn't in the auditorium.

"Captain, should we go take a look?" Marcus tentatively asked.

"Let's go!"

Rosier hesitated not, and led a group of people straight toward the Quidditch Pitch.

As Marcus said, the Gryffindor team was indeed there, but they weren't training or testing the broom's performance, they were... fighting?

Accurately speaking, it was the Weasley twins fighting, and others trying to mediate.

Seeing this, Marcus was overjoyed: "Gryffindor is having internal strife?"

With a match in the afternoon, this was fantastic news for Slytherin.

Rosier also noticed that the package delivered by owl in the morning was placed near the passageway where they were.

And there was no one guarding it around.

...

A minute later, Slytherins left the Quidditch Pitch one by one, tightly clustered around a person in the middle, shielding him completely.

They didn't return to the auditorium to continue eating, nor did they go back to their common room, but found an empty classroom casually and went inside.

After closing the door, they dispersed, revealing the person they had surrounded in the middle... and the long package he was holding.

"Captain, is it okay to hide it here?" Marcus said somewhat uneasily, "I think we should just put it in the common room..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Rosier kicked him.

He wasn't intending to steal the broom, he just wanted to hide it before the match so Gryffindor couldn't use it.

Putting it in the common room, what if someone accidentally slipped the info?

Slytherin stealing a broom?

If that news got out, Professor Snape would be the first not to spare him.

Rosier glanced around and noticed the desks were covered in a thick layer of dust, clearly unused for a long while.

"Here will do, remember to hide it well." Rosier said.

But no one moved, everyone stood still, staring at the person with the package.

After a long silence, someone suddenly suggested: "Why not open it and check? If it's not a broom inside, our efforts would be wasted."

The others all nodded in agreement.

"No, you can't open it."

Rosier flatly refused, seized the package, and set it aside.

He knew if the info from the Gryffindors was fake, the contents of the package definitely wouldn't be pleasant.

So it was best to just leave it intact.

"Heh heh, clever little rascal."

A milky-white dwarf suddenly appeared outside the window.

"Get lost, Peeves!" Rosier said in a deep voice.

"Rude little rascals, you'll pay for that!"

Peeves angrily smashed the glass and threw in a balloon filled with liquid.

The balloon missed everyone and instead landed precisely on that package.

Whatever it was that caused it, the package began to inflate violently.

"I knew it... damn Peeves!"

Rosier turned to leave, but the door got stuck and wouldn't budge from inside.

He drew his wand, "Bombarda..."

"Bang..."

With a loud explosion, the package finally burst, and a pungent stench instantly engulfed the entire classroom.
