"Come out, right now!" Sirius shouted, his voice echoing.
Voldemort paid no heed, continuing to laugh maniacally, but then he suddenly noticed a pair of eyes... deep purple, like amethysts.
For a moment, the red in Harry's eyes seemed to fade a bit.
Dumbledore seized the opportunity, vigorously swinging the wand in his hand.
It was as if an invisible fist had struck Harry, knocking the dark mist out of his body.
"Damn beast!" Voldemort's roar reverberated through the hall, just as several people emerged from the fireplace.
A wall of fireplaces suddenly lit up, with a surge of witches and wizards flooding out.
Meanwhile, Voldemort, transformed into black mist, flew to the few remaining Death Eaters, enveloping them as they smashed through a window, escaping from the Ministry of Magic's main hall.
"He was just here," shouted a wizard in a red robe, "I saw him, definitely."
"I know, Williamson, we all heard his voice," Fudge emerged from the back, continually wiping his forehead.
"Sorry, Dumbledore, we arrived late," he stepped forward and said, "Is everyone alright..."
"You arrived just in time, Cornelius," Dumbledore first checked Harry, then breathed a sigh of relief and said, "You arrived just in time, he's scared."
"Well done, but you can't show yourself now, come in quickly," as everyone's attention was on the fleeing Voldemort, Kael hid in the lift and patted the Wampus Cat, then opened his box.
The Wampus Cat immediately jumped in.
Only then did Kael step out again.
"It's sheer mayhem, dare to come to the Ministry of Magic and cause chaos, absolutely outrageous..." Fudge surveyed the devastated main hall and the shattered Magic Fountain, wiping his forehead again.
"What can we do for you, Albus?" he asked, "Anything at all."
"I think you might check the Department of Mysteries," Dumbledore said, "There are quite a few Death Eaters who couldn't escape; Kingsley is watching them."
"Oh, and..." Dumbledore continued, "they seem to have been quite shocked in the Department of Mysteries, speaking nonsense often."
"That's entirely normal..." With something to do, Fudge seemed considerably steadier, smiling as he spoke, "No one has ever known all the secrets of the Department of Mysteries.
"I just know one foolish thief who broke in, and next day, he went mad.
"Oh, I nearly forgot, this isn't the time for that, Delacour, Williamson, head downstairs to the Department of Mysteries. Albus, you..."
"I wish to return to the school first," Dumbledore pointed at the unconscious Harry, "After Harry wakes up, we can discuss what happened earlier."
"Certainly." Fudge seemed to just notice a person, who was the Savior, Harry Potter, lying there...
"Why is he here? Oh, Merlin, do you need me to help contact St Mungo's?"
"Thank you, Cornelius," Dumbledore shook his head, "Harry just fainted, doesn't need to go to St Mungo's; Madam Pomfrey can heal him entirely, but I need your approval to use a Portkey."
"Absolutely no problem," Fudge sighed in relief.
Dumbledore casually picked up a golden stone that seemed to be part of a Centaur's leg.
He took out his wand and murmured, "Portus."
The long stone emitted a blue glow, trembling in his hand, returning to calm after a few seconds.
"It's ready." Dumbledore tucked the stone into Harry's hand and said, "Whoever wants to go to Hogwarts, place your hand on it."
Kael was the first to reach out, followed by Sirius, Lupin, and Mr. Weasley, who surrounded them.
"Ready." Dumbledore softly said, "One... two... three!"
The wrecked main hall of the Ministry of Magic vanished, as did Fudge, as they flew forward within a vortex of colors and sounds.
...
When everyone returned to Hogwarts, Sirius immediately carried Harry to the Hospital Wing.
Others followed along.
Very quickly, the Hospital Wing became bustling; Harry lay on the bed closest to the door, beside him were Ron, Hermione, Tonks, and Moody.
"What on earth happened..." Madam Pomfrey was astounded, swiftly searching the shelves for Magic Potion, "Heavens, they have marks of being tortured by the Crucio Curse, isn't this the Imperio Curse..."
All the while, she seemed to inadvertently glance back at Dumbledore.
Mr. Weasley sat beside Ron, anxiously asked, "How is he?"
"Alright, it wasn't long, he should be okay." Madam Pomfrey walked over with a Magic Potion, "But I'd still advise you to have him checked at St Mungo's, to be honest, I'm not very good at dealing with the Crucio Curse... This is a Calming Potion, drinking it will make him feel a bit better."
"Thank you." Mr. Weasley took the bottle, using his wand to send the potion into Ron's mouth.
Quickly, Ron's furrowed brow relaxed considerably, and he began to snore.
Lupin also used the same method to give Moody some medicine.
Once everyone was treated, Dumbledore looked at Madam Pomfrey, "Thank you, Poppy, but could we talk alone for a bit?"
Madam Pomfrey didn't seem very willing, but as Dumbledore was the headmaster, after a moment's hesitation, she nodded and said, "It's best to be quick, the patients need rest… and so do you."
